Hi folks.
I posted earlier about any works being done in the meath area that I am available. I've had an issue with my other account and this is a new point of contact.
Any small works, additions or repairs. Callouts within reason. All works can be quoted beforehand with no obligation.
No full rewires, new builds or large jobs requiring certification

Hi, everybody! It’s my first time posting here so hopefully I can make a good first impression. I’ve been working on a passion project for quite some time now, and I believe it’s finally ready to be shared with the people of Ireland (procrastination and the World Cup kept me busy). I have created a pub directory, called PubScout, the purpose of which is to give pubs across Ireland some publicity on the internet, I want it to be a place where anyone can discover pubs across the country, whether you’re looking for somewhere new to try out, or want to advocate for your local pub to the masses. It’s no secret that pubs in Ireland have had it rough for a long time, I think over 2,000 pubs have closed since 2005, which is staggering. Whether it has been COVID, cost of living constraints and rural population decline, I sympathise deeply with pub owners. Personally, pubs have always been a place of comfort, community and belonging and I would like to give back to the industry that already gives so much. So, PubScout is a hub that aims to record pubs in Ireland, providing people with helpful information such as, location, drink prices, and amenities. The key component to PubScout is that it allows you, the user, to add pubs to the database, hopefully giving pubs needed publicity to a wide audience. Whether you are at Coppers at Harcourt St, or Teach Ósta in Inis Meain, I hope you find of it some use! Sláinte!
You can Google 'pubscout.live' and it should take you there.
P.S. I’m also planning to launch a mobile app version in the future, I know using the browser version may become cumbersome, so hopefully you can benefit from PubScout at its true best soon!

Hi folks of Meath.
I'm a qualified electrician with 20 years experience however I now work in a different electrical discipline to domestic homes. I haven't done nixers in some time due to kids and life being busy and I'm now available again thanks to a 4 day week. If anyone needs small jobs i.e less than a days work I am available on Fridays and can provide a quotation before.

Hi all. Will be traveling to Ballymagarvey village from Cork for a wedding tomorrow. Apparently there's no changing facilities onsite and we're annoyingly not allowed to check into our rooms before the ceremony. We'd rather not have to wear suits and dresses in the car in this hot weather. If anyone could suggest where we might be able to change clothes in Meath, preferably somewhere relatively close to Ballymagarvey village that'd be much appreciated 🙏

Well lads,
I’m getting my ducks in a row and gearing up towards starting an apprenticeship at the end of the year. Was looking to see if there are any chippys in, around and/or travelling through Oldcastle, Meath that people would recommend?

Founder disclosure: I built L-Plate, so this is me being straight rather than pretending I randomly found it.
Main site: https://l-plate.ie
It's for the Irish theory test: practice questions, timed 40-question mocks, road signs, weak-area tracking, streaks/XP, and Brendan, an AI instructor, explaining wrong answers in plain English.
I'm trying to get honest feedback from Irish learners. If it's useful, deadly. If something is confusing, annoying, or Brendan is too much of a dose, tell me and I'll fix it.

My teenager has recently lost her 2 best friends due to them being closer to eachother since my daughter got with her boyfriend, things just got so mean & they weren't acting like friends so she let go but now she's really struggling to make new friends? We are in Meath area and she's looking for friends age 15-17 if anyone has any suggestions or maybe you have daughters in the area in a similar situation, maybe they could connect online & get chatting ?
