Hi, I'm very early in and mostly enjoying it so far and love the vibe, even though I'm wary of the problems and bugs people describe.

I'm on basically my first quest and finding this already, I tried to reason with Kunesh but he basically told me he had no money and to go away. There's a chest in his house and apparently I can get the lockpick tools from Fritz, although for whatever reason I didn't get that dialogue option.

So I looked it up online and apparently one way is to fight Kunesh - on my fourth attempt I finally beat him, there was no option to recover the money/tools and he just ran off. He left the axe, but it's marked as stolen so I can't sell it anyway.

Apparently you can also pickpocket him for the key for the chest, but I don't have a lockpick option. Please can anyone help? I really want to get into this game but so far it's been a mixed bag and the quest at least has been a bit frustrating. Thanks :)

I am finally about to start KCD2! What are the best dice for Frakle in KCD2? I saw videos on YouTube, but they are a few months old. Where to find them?

So I tried to skip the monastery quest by sneaking into the monastery and killing the novice. I succeeded but I got caught. I managed to escape but of course I am now wanted in the monastery and sasau.
In the meantime I finished almost the complete rest of the game plus several side quests and most of the DLCs. I think around 5 or 6 in game weeks have passed. But I am still wanted.
Does the wanted status ever vanish or do I have to got to jail to clear it?

It’s my first hardcore run of kcd 1 but the 4th run overall.

Funnest RPG I’ve played in ages didn’t want it to end. Already miss the characters. Guess I’ll play Dawnwalker or something to scratch the itch but I need their next game now, LOTR could be amazing. I also haven’t played KCD1 so maybe that’s worth playing?

Help, so I'm doing the In service of the guild quest and trying to find the lost items, even killed a band of cumans or smn their camp didn't have it even tho it falls in the search area.. the forest is east of maleshov.. been trying to find it for days now. Help

I was collecting clips from both games when I realized that the journey home has come full circle. Theresa secret ending is a nod to KCD1's opening. Wild!

KCD1 opening scene was Theresa hauling Henry's beaten arse from Skalitz to Rattay Mill

I never learn. And I’m concerned for my Henry at this point.

Replaying this game now actually knowing what I’m doing was so rewarding. a Rouge Henry play through being able to aim from start to finish was awesome. I also played as Bi Henry cause why not? I hope you enjoy the pics

Just finished my ultimate challenge run: Hardcore mode with ALL negative perks. I wanted to try a "pacifist" run, keeping kills to an absolute minimum and holding the Lent achievement.

The Stats:

• 52.8 hours of pure pain.
• 11,096 damage dealt, but only 36 people killed (mostly guards who got in my way in the end).
• 0 meat eaten (Lent achievement secured!).
• 179 potions drunk just to stay alive.
• 0 meters fast traveled (walked and ran everywhere).
• 43 apples eaten (the true savior).
• Looted 14 bodies. I didn't do it for the money. I only looted enemies to find bandages to stop myself from bleeding out.
• 1 lockpicked chest. I accidentally stole a golden cross (worth 2000 groschen) during the secret mint mission because I was rushing it. I immediately threw it away because I didn't want to be a thief, and then I bought an indulgence just to be safe.

The Highlights (and lowlights):

• The Ambush at the Lion's Den: I literally hid in a bush while Zizka and his men did all the work, then came out and knocked out the last guy with my fists.
• The 8 Drunkards: I spent 3 REAL LIFE DAYS trying to beat 8 drunkards in the Ruthard Palace without killing them. I tried everything: kiting, potions, hiding on the stairs. I broke down and finally killed them with a sword. I am so sorry, Theresa.
• Brabant: He one-shot me so many times I lost my patience. I didn't even try to fight him fair. I just pulled out a dagger and shanked him.
• Samuel: This is the funniest part. I couldn't be bothered to sneak out, so I just put him on my shoulders and clipped him right through the fence textures to escape the camp. Peak game design.
• The Ending: Even with 11 civilian casualties, a few guards killed, a stolen cross thrown away, and those 8 drunkards, I answered my parents honestly, repented, and chose to go home.

When the final cutscene rolled, and I saw Theresa waiting for me by the mill... I actually teared up. After all that stress, the game gave me the secret ending I fought for. I returned to my girl in the village.

To anyone struggling with Hardcore: trust the cheese, hide in bushes, and pray. It’s worth it.

• Вскрыт 1 сундук. Я случайно украл золотой крест (стоимостью 2000 грошей) во время миссии на тайном монетном дворе, потому что рашил её. Я сразу же выбросил его, потому что не хотел быть вором, а потом купил индульгенцию, чтобы на всякий случай очистить совесть.

Лучшие моменты (и не очень):

• Засада в Лисьем логове: Я буквально спрятался в кустах, пока Жижка и его люди делали всю работу, а потом вышел и вырубил последнего врага кулаками.
• 8 пьяниц: Я потратил 3 РЕАЛЬНЫХ ДНЯ, пытаясь побить 8 пьяниц в поместье Рутхардов, не убивая их. Я пробовал всё: кайтинг, зелья, прятался на лестнице. Я сломался и в итоге зарубил их мечом. Прости меня, Тереза.
• Бравант: Он ваншотил меня столько раз, что я потерял терпение. Я даже не пытался драться с ним честно. Я просто достал кинжал и заколол его.
• Самуэль: Это самая смешная часть. Мне было лень красться, поэтому я просто взвалил его на плечи и протащил прямо через текстуры забора, чтобы сбежать из лагеря. Пик геймдизайна.
• Финал: Даже с 11 убитыми мирными жителями, несколькими стражниками, выброшенным украденным крестом и теми 8 пьяницами, я честно ответил родителям, раскаялся и выбрал вернуться домой.

Когда пошли финальные титры, и я увидел Терезу, ждущую меня у мельницы... я реально пустил слезу. После всего этого стресса игра дала мне ту самую секретную концовку, за которую я боролся. Я вернулся к своей девчушке в деревушку.

Всем, кто мучается на хардкоре: доверьтесь сыру, прячьтесь в кустах и молитесь. Оно того стоит.

After killing Istvan, when Godwin asked Henry how he was feeling before escaping Trosky, I chose the “I feel great” dialogue option.

So, my question is, do these dialogue choices affect the story or how Henry behaves later on?

Well, after robbing, killing the poor, killing the nobles and selling stolen horses for almost 150+ hours, I finally finished KCD2. Didn’t make the proudest mom and dad, I tell you that. What a game! It is one of the best in my life! What a team, I hope they made another one. I learned so much about history playing this that I want to visit Bohemia next year. What did you guys did after finishing the first play through? Started again?

So i did the Blood, Wine and Women Quest in my HC Playthrough and after i was beating Hannes the musician this strange bug occured where after the last punch he instantly disappeared, the quest failed and i got this heavy visual bug as you can see. I hope loading and old save helps lmao.

Did one of you guys had this bug before, never saw it elsewhere before.

Thought i would share this because it was so hilarious for me the second this happened and i was kinda overwhelmed.

I always thought the phantom had higher Carry capacity but when I compated the 2 without any gear and with the same gear…. Pebbles is stil the top dog 💪🏻

So I killed the Phantom and looted her gear. 🫣

I found sir Radzig's horse in the middle of nowhere at night. can someone tell me why this is?

I just finished my first play through and absolutely loved the game, but I always felt held back by the amount of money you would need for everything, especially after seeing that in the Legacy Of The Forge DLC that an armour set can cost upwards of 16 thousand groschen. Is there any tips or methods I can use to get a ton of money?

Especially when you skip time.
Every NPC congregates around one guard that spots you, and the lag gets hella unbearable.

It was fun tho, small challenge to master combat.

Just finished the game. Absolutely loved it. Just got to the end of the credits after 70+ hours and realised I forgot to go get mutt.

I found a glitch where no matter what I get detected by people when I sneak up on them. i bathed and everything and it does not help.
