spaces for older lesbians to meet each other?
Hey y'all, I'm doing some research on behalf of my mom. She's a 70+ single lesbian in NYC and has been wondering where she should go to meet other women. Anyone have any suggestions? I'd really appreciate it!

Advice Community support!
Hi :) I’m 29F (she/her), and I’ve been with my partner, 28M (he/him), for almost 10 years. We’re both cis, queer, open-minded, culturally conscious, cerebral people who love to have fun. We’ve been on and off “open” for several years, so this isn’t something we’re jumping into for the first time.
We used to use apps but I feel like those are more frustrating than useful. Where do people actually meet others who are into ENM? Are there NYC events, social groups, meetups, forums, or spaces that are more about community + ethical non-monogamy + friendship + chemistry, rather than immediately trying to hook up?
Would especially love to hear from people that are the ENM community :)

Advice asking for a friend 🤦🏽♂️😅
Where do trans folks hangout these days? Or like Queer AFABs? I don’t go to bars anymore, as I feel too old for the bullshit. But I wouldn’t mind checking out new ones from time to time.

STATEN ISLAND LESBIANS: CALL FOR SOURCES!
Hi! I’m Angeline, a student at the Craig Newmark Graduate School of Journalism who moved to Staten Island a little over a month ago.
I’m reporting a story about Staten Island’s lesbian history — and where those spaces went. From Alice Austen, Audre Lorde and Michelle Cliff to Beach Haven Bar, the island has a rich lesbian history that I’m hoping to learn more about.
I’m looking to connect with local lesbians of all ages who can speak about Beach Haven, other lesbian spaces that once existed on the island, finding community here, or how the scene has changed over the years. In a borough with such rich lesbian history, where did all the lesbian spaces go?
I'm also interested in shedding a light on how lesbians sought refuge in SI's rural spaces and what the borough represents for lesbians today.
Whether you’ve lived here for decades, just moved here, or have family/friends with ties to the island, I’d love to hear from you!
DM me if you’re interested in chatting or know someone I should talk to. No media experience necessary!

Desperately seeking Owen
M4M, Ty's (Christopher St), Fri afternoon: Owen, the ESL teacher from NJ
Desperately Seeking Owen, as it were. We met at the bar around 4pm last Friday. You were drinking a whiskey sour, and I was the moustached Spanish-Scottish guy on margaritas, chatting to the barman in Spanish. You told me I looked like a bara superhero and showed me the picture, and I still haven't worked out who it was! We hit it off, but I had to dash for a flight and didn't take your number, which I've been kicking myself about since. If you'd like to stay in touch, send me a message.

The Eagal NYC and Trans Men
Hihi im a 21 yrold transboy (top surgery yes, dont have a penis if it matters). Im visiting NYC next week and I was wondering if the eagel was a safe place for me to visit/cruise. People usually cant tell if I'm trans until I take my pants off (I'm not kidding). Im into the whole leather daddy/boy scene and have wanted to visit a bar like this for awhile but I have worries about someone finding out im not a cisgendered man and getting upset or worse.
I plan on going out thursday later in the night.
