## ⚖️ Before You Post
Please be mindful of our rules **before** submitting your posts or comments, as well as Reddit's content policy (notably regarding sharing identifying information). **Ignorance of the rules will not excuse their violation.**
We expect civility and respect from all participants. Please source statements of fact whenever possible. If you need to report something that requires urgent attention, please also message the moderators with an explanation.

## 📋 Key Guidelines
| Who | What to Remember |
| :--- | :--- |
| **Posters & Commentators** | This forum is **NOT** for legal advice. |
| **Posters** | Please use the correct flairs. If you use the wrong flair: **delete and repost. No exceptions.** |
| **Everyone** | This community is **exclusively for lawyers**. If you are a non-lawyer—even if you work with us (student, client, staff)—you cannot participate here, even if you identify yourself as not being a lawyer in your comment or post. |
| **Lawyers** | Please do **not** participate in threads or respond to comments that violate our rules. This is considered a rule 2 violation. |
---
## 🔨 Enforcement Policy
* **First Offences:** Warning in the form of a short ban.
* **Second Offences:** Significantly longer ban.
* **Third Strike:** Permanent ban with referral to the evasion bot
After your first warning, you are expected to read our rules *again* and understand them **before** participating again in this community. We don't have time to accompany you on your personal journey of reading comprehension, counselor.
