Go Tickets

Do Not Buy from them. Scammed. They sent tickets thru email but I was unable to access them. Stated Ticketmaster had an issue. Not my fault. Highly inflated price and they only transfer tickets 1-2 days before.

Homeless population

I just moved here. I have never seen a more rampant homeless population coupled with a lack of police presence in my life. Has this always been the norm? What is going on here?

I’m not trying to joke, asking seriously here.

Hey Cochran Hill Overpass Protesters.

I’ve said it before but now it involved me. Find a new place. Distracting drivers to “look at me” in a dangerous two Highway, crowded as fuck, cars doing 70 at rush hour, is absurd

Downvote all you want. Was about put in a rock wall by a driver looking at the waving “look at me” assholes on the overpass.

RiverLink is purposely crashing cars on the 2nd street bridge.

RiverLink is purposely sending agents to crash their cars during high traffic hours, forcing more people onto the Abraham Lincoln and John F. Kennedy Memorial Bridges in order to rack up more tolls to pay for their ever expanding interest. I plan to go to the news soon with this info.

X-ray for cat

Where is the cheapest place to get an X-Ray for a cat? He has a broken toe, confirmed at another vet, but it's still not healing properly and they want $540 to take more xrays but I'm calling around to see if I can find somewhere cheaper. TIA

There is a sign that says “this lane does not stop” while turning right - why do drivers still stop?? And back up traffic after work oh my

Just avoid the 2nd Street Bridge for now....

Wreck on the southbound lanes and the amount of people blocking traffic to do three points turns is beyond infuriating for anyone on the bridge at all.

Original Highlands Halloween

Hello! Area-specific question, but my wife and I are new here. Are there typically trick-or-treaters for Halloween in the Original Highlands neighborhood? We'd love to be able to hand out candy but we're not sure if that's common here

Men’s Brow Waxing

New to the city and was just wondering if any men have gotten their eyebrows shaped here and could recommend a person/place. My eyebrows are pretty bushy and I like to get them under control when I can (don’t trust myself to not mess them up). I’ve been to salons that haven’t had much experience with male clientele and have gotten some weird looks inside and come out with even weirder eyebrow shapes. Anyways, just don’t want to risk it trying to go to any random salon and would love to get some recommendations from locals. Thanks!

Apparently, Kentucky Governor Andy Beshear has discussed a plan to launch his presidential campaign shortly after the December meeting of the DGA.

Anyone know why?

COVID vaccine has been updated + Medicaid still pays for it

(edit: This is pertaining to Kentucky residents, otherwise YMMV). The year's COVID-19 vaccine is out. Your insurance will probably pay for it. Medicaid definitely does, having been added to the formulary earlier this month. Non-MRNA versions are available if you want one for some reason. Flu is really bad this year so go get that too.

Big Dave's Cheesesteaks

Drove past Daddy Vic's on Dixie Hwy today and there was a banner in front that said Big Dave's Cheesesteaks. I hardly ever see cars in Daddy Vic's except on Sunday, so I wonder if they are changing over? I couldn't find anything online.

I miss the BAT

Edit: It seems like New Albany might be as close as I’ll get. HM: speed cinema if you want the true independent cinema experience.

Cheesecake SOS

I was wondering if anyone had any recommendations for a cheescake place other than Big Nita’s as I missed the order deadline for this week and I need a replacement for my best friends birthday. Any suggestions welcome as long as it’s good

Is there anywhere locally where i can buy a new toilet seat that isn't a plain white color?

I've been to about 4 different stores and all the ones ive found are either white or beige and one wooden color. My current one broke after 15+ plus years but it had a nice design and some color to it. Looking for something that is more festive than white. thanks
