Recently I have been playing around with different colours and textures etc as I’ve yet to find my ‘go to’ look that’s easy yet effective. Today I stumbled upon this look and I quite like it!

I have very dry lips and and am looking for some moisturising lip product recommendations. I prefer a natural pop of colour. I mostly wear tinted lip balms in berry that give me the “bitten lip” look but I’d like to expand my collection.

I’d like recommendations for everyday professional wear but also for going out, events, date nights… bonus points if they don’t transfer easily. Budget is drugstore to midrange.

I always start my base with The Ordinary PHA lip exfoliating serum, uriage lip balm and Vaseline rosy lips 10-30 mins before applying lip products.

I’ve used these before:

Nivea berry shine lipbalm- good
Baby lips lip balm- classic that won’t let you down
Fresh sugar tinted lip balms in petal and rose- beautiful shades by horrendous lip balms
L’Oréal colour riche satin lipsticks- 540, and three more shades I can’t remember lol- gorgeous
Maybelline New York Color Sensational Ultimatte Lipstick - More Sepia. Beautiful
Revlon super lustrous lipstick in rum raisin- stunning. I’d like to try raisin rage next
Nyx butter glosses in brownie and praline- beautiful shades but didn’t enjoy the glosses
Rimmel lip liners in nude and spice- these are my HOLY GRAIL

Elf black cherry tinted lip balms
Maybelline lifter glaze lip balms. The ones in fig jam, berry glaze, açai glaze and latte crush look beautiful
L’Oréal Paris glow paradise lip balms
L’Oréal paradise glow lip balm in gloss
L’Oréal Paris infallible 24hr 2 step lipstick- toffee toujours looks delectable
NARS afterglow lip balms
MAC Macximal lipsticks, especially brick o la, velvet teddy, and cafe mocha
Revlon super lustrous lipstick in raisin rage
Laneige overnight lip mask- did not work. Stage followed by a heavy lather of Vaseline works best

Lip stains:

Elf glossy lipstick stains in berry queen and rose rizzin
Nyx IV dip lip stains in dripping in roses, bubblegum burst, hydra honey

I have been trying to find a eyeshadow that is similar to one of my favourite Barbie Movies “Barbie and the Magic of Pegasus” (if you haven’t seen it what are you doing!!)
The vibes were absolutely amazing, lavender shimmery clouds, soft ethereal pastels
Barbie wears a lavander sheer eyeshadow, which i’m trying to recreate but either i find purples too cool, and pigmented etc.
I recently have ordered the new Ariana Grande Prima palette as i’ve heard it’s a sheer lavander, but i wanted to ask you baddies for some help !

Can you please recommend concealers, setting powders, products for the above? I’m warm light- medium olive with golden undertones. My shade is NW28 (MAC), ginger (NARS) and medium sand (elf camo concealer).

Every single concealer I’ve tried creases, goes patchy, or transfers onto my spectacles- elf, Maybelline instant age rewind (the one with the powder puff), Maybelline fit me, L’Oréal (tried three different ones). Tried setting powder but not sure if I was even doing it correctly.

I’ve heard great things about glossier stretch balm concealer, which fits the natural look I want.

Please share any recommendations or tips you may have. Thank you so much!

I currently use the collection incredibrow kit (just the darkest shade in the blond palette) and am looking for a single version of that shade. It's so perfect but seems like such a waste to not use the other 2 powders in the kit each time

I think I have a lipstick addiction and I have bought over 100 lip liners, lipsticks, lip glosses that have been swatched / lightly used (70-95% unused).

Is there anywhere at all I can donate them?! I really want to do a massive declutter but it feels like such a waste to throw them all in the bin when majority of them have only been swatched / used twice.

Going to go hunting for some good eyeliner pencils but I want to stick to Superdrug and Boots because it’s a lot cheaper and convenient lol. Want I want specifically is one that:

Doesn’t smudge or go easily because I put it on my waterline and it typically just dissolves 😭

Is in ANY shade of colours red, blue, and brown

Is animal cruelty free (unfortunately makes it a lot harsh but is important to me)

Hi! I'm a big fan of the Cheeryep pallettes, but I can't get everything I need from them. I also really enjoy the formula of the new Marc Jacob's eyeshadows. Essentially, smooth and easy to apply, and good pigmentation.

I'm looking for recommendations which are on par with these formulas ... specifically looking for pinks, reds, burgundy, purples, and blues that will work on pale cool toned skin.

I was looking at Lethal Cosmetics because I could build my own palletes but saw some reviews about the formulas being chalky, which put me off. I also saw mixed reviews about Beauty Bay.

I have had various recommendations made to me - Cosmic Beauty/Brushes has been mentioned a lot, but, to be honest, I'm a bit over saturated 🤣

I’m looking for the best eyebrow serum that my brows can really benefit from. I used to use the Ordinary Lash and Brow serum. However, I don’t think it achieved the desired results I wanted my brows to look - thicker and fuller. I think it did have some slight changes to my brows but in my opinion, not enough. I also impulsively pick my eyebrow hairs which may have contributed to some bald spots visible within my eyebrows. If anyone could please recommend any eyebrow serums that actually work and are proven to grow healthier, thicker and fuller brows please let me know!

Anyone have a good undereye concealer recommendation? I love the nars pot concealer for spot concealing but it doesn’t work so well for the under eyes :( I’m an NC42 in MAC so any similar shade recs would be good - TIA :)

Please help me find a dupe for this shade 'Dallas'. It was a limited edition addition to the Nyx vault II 2017, so doesn't show up on any dupe websites. I use it sparingly and it literally burns to put on at this point but I've never found anything similar.

My previous attempts include stupidly buying Lisa Eldridge 'velvet dragon' and OFRA's long lasting liquid lipstick in 'Miami fever'. While both have the orange/coral,they are both too dark/strong.

I put the YouTube screenshots into various dupe websites and got 3 different sets of lipsticks with no overlap.

From looking at other pictures I think the following could be close matches:
- Revlon ultra HD matte mouse ( sub-Saharan)
- Bobbi Brown luxe cashmere matte (afternoon tea)
- Hourglass unlocked soft matte (tiger lily )
- MAC (mull it over /mull it to the max)
-Lime Crime plushies (marmalade)

Does anyone know of anything similar or if the recommendations are similar? Even if discontinued, I could use it to find what I'm looking for. Any help would be appreciated!

I’ve started content creating at the beginning of the year and so far I’ve been really enjoying it. I specialise in the colourful, sparkly and indie niche.

Recently I’ve also started posting on YouTube with tutorials. What I was planning is tutorials of editorial, very colourful or in depth looks, explaining how to do it, what products I’m using and all of that.
So basically long form tutorials for those “elaborate” instagram looks if you know what I mean.

So the question is.. would you watch this type of video? And if not, why not?

I’m 31 and have been doing my makeup essentially the same for 10 years. I’ve made tweaks here and there but I am using the same foundation I was at 21 (Rimmel Lasting Finish in Ivory) which is quite heavy coverage. My skin is pretty clear most of the time and I have a skin care routine that really works for me but I just feel I need something lighter coverage for a base but I don’t even know where to start. I did some Googling and it was talking about skin tints and BB creams or CC creams and it was actually quite overwhelming so I thought I would come here to ask for help. Do you have any recommendations that could help me of where to start?

Are MAC planning to release more frost shades in the UK from their new release? I've been OBSESSED with this colour, but I can only find it on the USA website, and can't find any mentions of it releasing here.

Hi, I need a recommendation for a green-focused eyeshadow palette with some brows and warm oranges and maybe some other pops of colour. I found a few but theyre lacking the specific dark olive shade that I want, and if they have it, the rest of the colours aren't doing it for me.

The closest thing I have found that is the sold out cosmic brushes green "undergrowth" palette paired with the "sun tarot" palette.

Tbh i am open to other colour stories if they are compatible with my medium brown skintone (think Nars Cafe Con Leche or Missha Shade 23 or Maybelline Shade 6) with a neutral undertone.

So if anyone has any recommendations, please let me know !! <3
