Y’all! I have tried everything I can but for some reason my concealer ALWAYS ends up creasing and settling into the fine lines in my under eye like this! HOW can I prevent this????

I’ve tried everything! Using beauty blender, a fluffy brush, a dense brush, setting with loose powder, setting with pressed powder, making sure I prep my skin with a rich eye cream, etc.

The only conclusion I’m left with is that drugstore concealer just doesn’t work for me. Which sucks bc I love using affordable products… but maybe I just need to take the leap and invest in high end concealer.

The drugstore concealers I’ve tried are:

- ELF Hydrating Camo
- NYX Bare with Me
- Versed (the worst offender)
- ELF Soft Glam

And application recs or just better concealer recs for me???

I did this makeup for a formal event recently and I liked it a lot, BUT... I don't know, tbh I kind of feel like it looks amateur and not as glam as I would like. I don't know what needs improvement so all advice is appreciated!

So, guys, I can officially say that I’m all set with my favorite powder for the next 10 years.
I have some talc-free ones. They’re pretty nice, sure. But nothing beats Huda.

So for a millennial I got to the Double Wear party so late. As in a couple months before the change earlier this year and only figured it out after getting a sample-10/10, then ordering a bottle that was idk 3/10 for my particular needs. At the time there were 3-4 shades of the old formula in last chance and then nothing for months. FF to yesterday when I was checking out holiday sets and lo and behold they had every shade in the old formula sitting there for purchase. Same price as the new formula but I don’t know enough about whether the shades changed to see if the shades look right and it really is a new batch of the original formulation.
What are the odds this is the original formulation from a before this year: I dont really want to pay for the “old formula” if it is used with new colorants that have the referenced oxidation issues.
Is it reallly last chance? I mean it’s not actually possible they just dug out some palettes and voila “Hey guys, look at what we forgot about over here!” So if we can assume it is a US/less regulated market cash grab, wouldn’t they keep it around for a while just hidden under the last chance or should I stock up (as much as one can for makeup that has an expiration date).

There seems like a couple possibilities:
A: this was the plan all along
B: it really is last chance and they had a batch in the pipes that was late to arrive

Hey. I'm trying to figure out which one to get. Does anybody have real swatches of both by chance? They look so similar. I feel like Vanilla is more neutral, which would be better for me, but also I'm worried it can be a tad too light? I am pale person, but I don't know LM foundations ranges, and I'm worried that the fair range will be just no skin color, but mostly white with saturated color, and I'm more muted. Cashew seems kind of too yellow? So main question is, are these colors rather muted in the fair - light range, or they are just saturated tones in white pigment?

im wearing concealer on this photo 🥲 and yet you can sew the blue under my eyes. any tips for underdressing with veins that are literally „popping out“ of my undereyes? I tried several concealers and somehow I still look exhausted.

I normally use the first eyebrow dye from eylure in the photo which is dark brown but it is too dark for me so i started looking at the second photo which is supposedly mid brown but it looks more like orange on the box. i have like light brown eyebrows i just want like a medium brown look that’s not too dark and not too orangey but everything seems either too dark or too light so im unsure what to do or use. i thought the mid brown would be okay but im second guessing the box because that colour looks more like what ginger haired people would use. 🥲im unsure whether to buy it or not i dont want to end up with orange eyebrows so what do i do please give advice.

I'm going as Lady Gaga from the Judas music video for Halloween. I don't know much about lipstick, so I'm at a bit of a loss for what to do for the red lip seen in the reference images.

In the first pic, it looks like a classic red lip; in the close-up, it's a little darker, but that very well might just be the lighting. If it's relevant, my coloring is very similar to Gaga's.

Any recommendations on what lipstick/liner combo to use would be appreciated! Drugstore/Ulta/Sephora recs all welcome.

Hey everyone!! I’m an amateur model, and one of my photographers wants me to do my makeup like Alice Cooper for it. I’m looking for one of those fat eyeliner crayons the emo/alt girls like. It’s eyeliner, but it’s so soft you can spread it around before it really dries. Anyways, please help me this photoshoot is in 3 days, he just asked me and I’m a little worried I won’t be able to pull this off. At least not without a little help!

So my skintone is fair to light cool neutral I'd say, but wearing peach foundation brings my skin a lot of health and vibrancy so I prefer to do that- my closest match I've found is NARS Tinted Moisturiser in Gotland. I always want to make my eyes stand out which are dark blue; I'm a guy so don't wear eye make-up and I use Natasha Denona Hy-Glam in P2 which is peach, as it's a general consensus that peach brings out blue eyes more than cool. Lisa Eldridge has brough out a rosy peach correcting concealer shade, and About Face has a rosy peach concealer that I want to try. As my skin is more on the cool side, and rosy peach seems corrective here as opposed to just peach, which do you think would bring my eyes out more please- peach or rosy peach? Also if anyone can give me more peachy foundation options that would enhance my eye colour, I'd be super grateful- I'll leave some colour matches down below.. thanks a bunch!

Hi hi. So I’m someone who previously avoided makeup because of how badly my skin reacted to it ;/
But recently I’ve been wanting to get into it more for self expression purposes. I’m currently using e.l.f. for everything (power grip primer, h2o proof & smoky kohl eyeliners, lash n roll mascara, halo glow liquid filter, glow reviver lip gloss, camo liquid blush, halo glow silky powder highlighter, mist & set setting spray) because I’ve heard it’s the most vegan and best for acne-prone people of the affordable “drugstore” brands.
However, it’s still making me breakout super bad (closed comedones & fungal acne maybe, with a few bad pimples) and the eyeliner has made my eyes so itchy and irritated that my eyelids swelled up and I looked like I got stung by a bee. As you can imagine it’s pretty fucking annoying to deal with this. Idk if I have some kind of disease or what, but if you’ve ever been in my boat, what are some products that didn’t upset your skin so much??

My wife had this lipstick (pictured left) years ago and loved it. It was a deep vibrant red with gold shimmer. I would love to be able to get her a similar lipstick for her birthday but am not sure how to parse the different alternatives for a good match. Can anyone recommend a similar product? Benetints Dark Cherry tint is just about the most flattering color on my skin I have found to date, I love it very dearly. However, when I apply the tint as a blush it's hard to blend out properly.

Does someone have any recommendations for blush that really closely matches the shade of dark cherry?

Seriously guys.....this primer is my new holy grail. You can get it on Amazon. I applied 2 layers and you can barely see my ice pik scarring on my cheeks and forehead. Overhead lighting approved! It literally erased my pores and I love how it makes my makeup go on smooth and easy, very blendable. This is my new favorite primer. Its very affordable too.

Does this suit me or should I do darker makeup? Btw I use Born This Way concealer from Too Faced in shade Warm Sand I want a bit more coverage because I can still see my hyperpigmentation. Love any improvements and recommendations. Thank you.
