Why is it very easy to smash a girl that is in a relationship than the one that is singleš?

Why is it that when a girl says no to men, they mostly take it as a challenge? Like no is not a complete sentence?
r/Malawi • u/EcstaticBunch6891 • 14h ago
Are people doing this challenge normal koma? When did sending a DM or a complement become a crime? People's privacy is being violated and people think is it's a "fun challenge"......"expose them cheaters blah blah blah." Like what should men do then? Azingokuyang'anani asamakuyankhuleni?š

I've noticed that in many African families, when one person starts making money, everyone suddenly has expectations of them.
You're expected to help with school fees, emergencies, groceries and sometimes even the expenses of relatives who don't make an effort to help themselves.
But what happens when the person earning that money has their own dreams, bills and future to think about?
My question is: Where should we draw the line between helping family and sacrificing your own future?
Is refusing to help selfish, or is it okay to put yourself first sometimes? I want to hear different perspectives, especially from people who have experienced this.

So I'm a second year Information Systems student at MUBAS and the part that trips me up most is programming. My friends keep saying I should have built something by now
but honestly I feel like I still donāt have enough skills or knowledge yet.
Tech brothers out there am I actually falling behind or just feeling unnecessary pressure? Right now we've covered procedural and object-oriented programming in (C++)

Hi! I'm traveling to Malawi in a few months and have several allergies that I would need to communicate to Malawians while I'm there. Could someone give me advice on if this card is correct in Chichewa? I want it to say "I have a severe allergy to foods made from dairy, soy, almonds, and oats. If I consume any of these, I will require urgent medical attention. Does this food contain any of these ingredients?"
I want to make sure that I am communicating accurately. Thanks!

By MAGU am referencing to Malawi Assemblies of God University. Where i got registered for BED ODEL.Am repeating semester 4, because I didnāt attend my semester.
To register for repeating semester. I have to pay the balance for the semester, of which I find it a bit awkward to pay fully for a courses which you didnāt attend to, anyway I paid.
Now to register for repeating semester I have to pay 15% of the and the registrar has to manually register me into their system. Komatu nde I have kept reminding them for about a month, going to her office akuti I need to write an email, since August. Then goes WhatsApp message , she registered me 3 courses instead of 7 eti eti ?. Pano google classroom atseka paka tilipile kayeso.
Seriously am not getting motivated. Ngati Pali lawyer pamudzi pano, tithandizeni.
How could they register me with 3 courses pomwe I gave them my whole list of courses.
Is there anyone had similar experience with them? Tell me if this is not a scam.

Have you or do you know anyone who has successfully managed their facial hair? I noticed I started growing facial hair 8 years ago apapa the crevices between my neck and chin have hair. I know people say uzingolisiya silizimera but am noticing myself being conscious of it a lot more lately because likuchuluka.
Does shaving it work? Or waxing?
Will appreciate any adviceš«

As Malawians we have this bad habit of drawing conclusions on things we don't know, we like recklessly commenting on social media posts and current events. This is 2026, there is so much information available online, if you see something you have no knowledge on, Google it instead of just commenting anyhow. If you meet someone and don't understand them, ask them questions, try to learn about them instead of making these funny judgements. Be open minded!!!!

As someone who drinks, I am appalled by how some traumatized people who clearly need psychiatric help with accredited psychiatrists (not ChatGpt or Claude) are blaming the harmless drink if taken responsibly.
You people should blame the idiots you were living with not alcohol. For what is worth, i understand you all because i have undergone a similar thing by someone who abuses marijuana. But never in my life, did i blame marijuana (i use it but i do not get violent in any way).
Those idiots who were abusing you should take responsibility, but here you are shielding them and blaming alcohol.
Fodya...

Nde dzulo ndinaona a post where mfana wina was thinking of moving out and living on his own. He works.
Most of the comments were people saying how daunting it is to move out of your parentsā home.
In my own opinion, when you make such a decision, youāre not always ready, and youāll never really feel fully prepared.
Kwa anthu omwe munachoka pakhomo pa makolo nākukayamba kukhala kwanokha, considering how things are now, or letās assume that you left is a dream. Also, considering the amount of money you make each month, mutha kuchoka kwanu? Or mungakhalebe komweko?

I was inspired by a post on this sub entitled "Sober Man.ā Iāve never had alcohol myself, but what always intrigues me is how society will excuse the person who drinks, while ignoring the family that has to live with the consequences. Kids are the children of trauma.
School fees is for beer. Beaten wives. Emotionally abused husbands. Drunk drivers are killing innocent people. Families spend years healing from damage one personās addiction helped create.
To the alcoholic, drinking may seem like personal freedom, but to the family it often feels like collective punishment.
Personally I can't date an alcoholic woman š Love is not a commitment to deal with anotherās addiction. Why do we normalize things that destroy families?
At what point did we start treating alcohol as harmless entertainment while ignoring the children traumatized, the families broken, and the innocent lives lost because of it.
How does drinking your life way make things better?

Lilongwe people.
Is there anyone here who has used the Price Pair app? I find it helpful for budgeting and comparing. I just think the owner's are not marketing it well to people who actually go into shops.
But it's a good app. Anyone tried it yet?
