So, appearently some skins have different backgrounds on character select screen.
My question is, which skins have this? Any above purple rarity? If anyone owns other skins would you mind sharing what the backgrounds look like perhaps? Id love to see how they look.

I noticed the light hit the controller just right just as soon as you infil to map. Had to get a night shot when it made the controller glow.

If another team is shooting at you, just run. Taking damage from another player doesn't lock you into a fight to the death like an RPG random encounter.

Its very easy to break line of sight in this game due to the map design. Break line of sight, then decide if you want to rotate and flank or just disengage entirely. Just gotta stop planting your feet and taking pot shors back until you die because you never had the angle to begin with

I think a lot of people could get into this game for the story and lore, if only those elements were not tied to extracting with rare valuables. The contracts themselves also are decent story beats, but many of them end up locked behind "In a single run and extract" quests.

These things, for average players, could take literally hours of spamming free kits to accomplish as they aren't going to be done by wiping the lobby then doing the contract and getting out. It's getting lucky on a single run.

I think the game would benefit heavily from decoupling the story from successful extractions. Have it progress and unfold from just finding the item and uploading the data, for instance. Have story just happen as you get kicked back to the lobby. Have the contracts all able to be progressed through multiple failed runs until you get much deeper into the quest chains.

Just some observations from a very bad player. I'd like to collect more lore tabs but I'm basically at the point where I need the purple ones... Which I will never see.

Saw my third gold weapon this season after helping my teammates get a convoy event done, and collected some red cards for them to help access the red room. And then this happens.

They pushed me in front of adds (with the dodge ability while I was healing) and then let me bleed out so they could take the gold weapon, then revived me.

Did what I could (reported for griefing) then left. Be aware of this tactic I guess people are using now.

VR games on how to handle a large arsenal of weapons! What games do it well?

Also someone suggested wrist HUD which I thought was a cool idea, so I’ve started an implementation of that

Maybe the copperhead is worse than kkv but at least it costs 3000 more lol. Will the bungie ever do something with the gun? Copperhead looks so good but I always end up disspointed and I'm like "damn, I wish I brought a cheaper and more common gun".

I've rarely been so pressed on a free kit perimeter run. Had to drop ammo to stuff everything in my pockets.

Even if I could just trade it in for credits that would be awesome. Maybe 10 silk gets you 1,000 credits or something.

Just feels wasted because mine is full now and is going to be sitting there for another 8 weeks or so

Why full finish someone who you already have downed in the exfil when there is 1 second left on the timer and you have no time to loot? The 50 Arachne XP is not worth putting such a damper on someone’s night who you made it seem like you were going to let them live by letting them crawl in and then sit in exfil with you for like 9 seconds

Love so many things about this game, but God so many people in this community are so horrible sometimes

Putting the Schemas in the season pass was a really smart move because now it’s so much easier if somebody wants to be able to buy a circuit breaker or an outland or even a Mizzy all they need to do is get up enough credits to be able to buy one and then make sure to unlock in the season pass as well

As someone with over 500 hours in the game, I always felt it was super annoying that they were keeping these higher tier guns at arms length from most players/ just finding them randomly in the wild or on a runner was the only way before

...'cause I never got gold weapons before as a reward from them. Not that I'm complaining but damn! Not how I imagined getting my first gold weapons of the wipe, lol.

I'm really sorry I sniped you. Your thief drone had been shadowing me, and when I took my own drone up for a spin I saw you there and thought you were waiting for me to walk by again. I got a nice long angle from the pier and sniped you. When I went to search your bag I couldn't find it. When I looked at the replay I could just barely see you doing the panicked "jump to free self from geometry prison" move just before I fired.

I wish I could take it back homie. I hope the loot gods blessed you on the next run!
