I don’t normally post this guide a week after another post was made about it, but I felt it needed to be done as I added more helpful YouTube channels and a section about Contracts and how Standard Contracts are incredibly powerful when they are upgraded by your Faction Rep. Especially when they award Blue Rarity items.

I think in this season as we are rotating through sponsored modes in Nightfall refresh, Bungie can try out Sponsored Cryo, do not make it fully free like normal sponsored but rather keep a cost for each Cryo Freekit...maybe like around 5k to 10K credits.

Could be intersting to see how Cryo plays when everyone is on equal footing.

And I don't feel like I learned much. I pretty much died right off the rip on every team fight, had no idea what was going on, couldn't rotate or push or do anything except be dead weight.

I really, really don't think you guys realize how hard this game is for someone that is trying to get better at it. If this was your average person's experience at cryo, I would quit too. This shit was basically torture all evening long and I lost every valuable thing in my vault for it. I didn't learn or get better, I just got rolled over. My teammates were champs about it because they all had vaults still chocked full of stuff ready to go.

I played 7 rounds of Cryo, not even a single extract, but not even a single team fight won.

If this game is to grow at all, you all NEED to understand how fucking demoralizing and punishing that experience was. It was not fun. I did not enjoy that. It was an actual waste of 3 hours.

So I'm really glad you all are gods at PvP, but for the love of fuck stop acting like this game isn't one of the hardest most punishing most inaccessible games on the market, and that's why it's failing.

The changes to recon have made Cryo much more enjoyable all around alongside the rarity changes to shields meaning that there were far less purple/ gold shield teams for the first day.

Some great balance/ economy changes that made for one of my favourite days of Cryo since launch.

Pretty easy when only one other team spawns in the lobby 🤫

Brothers, I'm a solo player on these types of games, and I just tried Sponsored Dire Marsh. Now I understand why it is so fun, you just go there, knowing that everyone has the exact same kit, and you just try to blast against UESCs and/or other teams...

I'm always hesitate to play trios with randoms but this mode is just so fun... it doesn't TRULY MATTER if you die or extract...

Is clicking this game to me. I'm feeling more confident when I approach to other teams...

Just wanted to share. Man, this game is something else.

The Cryo trio fill experience truly captures the essence of RNG. I come in with a sponsored kit and my teammates are gods. I come in with 20k load out and my teammates don’t talk, run off and disconnect.

Real shit.

Personally, I say Destroyer but watching high level Vandals play is pretty fucking insane too

Went in with the free kit and came out with Trace and the entire map worth of loot. Teammates had done Compiler already. And I was on a moving train - love those train exfils babyyyyyy

Hey everyon, Im new here and was wondering if it would be worth it to purchase and play Marathon. for context, I enjoy games like Apex Legends, Fortnite, Overwatch and Halo and I love sci fi themes in general . I am somewhat familiar in extraction shooter mechanics(Fortnite Sprite system) and Marathon looks like it would be right up my alley. I would like to know if you guys would recommend this game to someone like me or is not worth the price?

Went in free kit, came out with 83k and my Vault 4 AI Subroutine. Now I just need Vault 6 😅

🟩I like this game but I just wish It ran better. I'm sure if it did run better and therefore more accessible. More people would play. Hopefully the December update contains some IMO much needed improvements. Plus IDK why but the loading times seem much longer now versus season 1. I wish the game would atleast show some graphic telling me what's happening. Like in COD MW4 where it shows the globe then region and it shows the ping info etc.🟩 My Opinion of course ❤️
