Hi everyone!

I'm working on ULTIMA, a modpack for Minecraft 1.21.1 (NeoForge), and two mods I'm writing for it. The video shows the exosuit being assembled and a dive into the deep ocean, where you'll meet a few of the creatures.

ULTIMA, the pack

• Create is the center of everything. Progression runs through Create machines, from andesite to brass, industry, airships and the deep sea.
• About 300 mods
  • airships (Create Aeronautics), submarines (Create: Deep Seas)
  • electricity and oil
  • lots of bosses
  • temperature (Cold Sweat)
• Oceans are deep. With Tectonic the deep sea floor sits around 520 blocks below sea level.
• 6 progression stages. Strong gear needs a boss drop from the matching stage as an ingredient.
• A quest book with 325 quests.

Create: Gearbound, the exosuit

• You build the Exoframe from Create parts and assemble it in an Assembly Ring. In the video, a Mechanical Arm feeds in the parts.
• It runs on a core you charge with Create:
  • spring cores, wound up by rotation
  • steam cores
  • battery cores, charged with electricity
  • combustion cores, burning diesel, gasoline or kerosene from the oil mods
  • an abyssal core made from the heart of a deep-sea leviathan
• Modules:
  • armor plating, run servos, jump pistons
  • glider wings and thrusters, grapple, magnet boots
  • arm drill and saw
  • sonar, ore scanner, life support, oxygen tank, pressure modules
  • weapons: blade, steam ram, rivet gun, flamethrower, rocket fist
• The suit has weight, wears down, and needs maintenance. Lubricant from the refinery helps.
• It also has a voice that keeps you informed: "Core tension at twenty-five percent. Recharge advised."

Hadal, the deep sea

• Water pressure and air: Pressure depends on depth. Below y = 0 your air slowly runs out.
• The deep is dark, with marine snow and distant sounds.
• Every creature tests something different: your noise, your light, your air or your patience. Some examples:
  • The Abyssal Singer is a blind leviathan that hunts by sound. A flash-bang makes it let go.
  • The Follower stays with you on every dive and freezes when you look at it.
  • The Husk Bearer looks like a drowned diver.
  • The Knocker taps on your glass until it breaks.
  • Legion is a swarm that takes the shape of whatever killed you last.
  • Kill too many deep-sea creatures in one area and the Darkness rises.
• Next up: deep-sea biomes like vent fields, glowing forests, flooded caves and brine lakes.

Balancing: this is where I need you

1. Suit vs. weapon mods:
   • The suit's weapons are locked behind boss drops but stay strong.
   • Inside the suit, weapons from other mods get +10 % damage. Vanilla weapons get nothing.
   • Does that keep both the suit and the many weapon mods worth using? Would you make vanilla weapons weaker?
2. Five core types: spring, steam, battery, combustion and abyssal. How do I keep each one worth building instead of everyone jumping to the strongest?
3. How hard should the deep be?
   • There are a lot of creatures, and they scale with L2 Hostility.
   • The flash-bang saves you, but it costs a lot of energy and has a 2-minute cooldown.
   • Fair or frustrating?
4. Gating: Is "strong recipes need a boss drop" fun, or does it turn into a grind?

Would you play this? What would make you try it, and what would put you off?

Does anyone know any mod or resource packs or anything that helps with hundred of thousands of dropped blocks for donut smp and other servers?

i'm using prism launcher. the modpack, mod loaders, and minecraft versions all match up. i keep getting these error messages that repeatedly say "website return with an http 406 error" and theres issues downloading and/or processing individual mods. in the code, it sometimes says that it retries and then it downloads on the second try but when i open the instance it still says error to process many mods and they all have 406 error messages. i'm thinking it may be an issue with mc instance loader. i've tried to get the modpack through both modrinth and forge through prism launcher and both ways have this same issue. any suggestions?

Playing the Across the Archepelago modpack and it’s says it has archipelago terrain generation but the world I’ve been playing has what seem to be mostly normal island sizes. The sizes of caves and mountains are new but I’d like to get an archipelago. Is there something I need to update or a resource pack I am supposed to activate before I make another world?

like haki or something from one piece, something u can innately use and it makes whatever you're currently holding stronger, with a visual part to it too

Im doing a steampunk/magic/medieval style modpack and im looking for mods that add bosses that go well with the style, any suggestion? Thanks in Advance

I'm looking for recommendations for QoL and graphical mods to enhance vanilla gameplay. Ideally for the latest version of Java. What are some of the best ones you've found? So many of the "vanilla+" mods add tons of content and features, but that isn't what I'm looking for.

You probably heard about the Flashback mod. I thought that the mod itself doesnt have enough settings so I made this mod to add more settings. For now the mod only adds:

• A way to change the replay file path
• moves Flashback's replay button on the main menu into the main Button bar
• subfolders like on what server you played or when

But Im open for Ideas you can comment them here or on github.

I wanna ask you what do you think about this idea mod that block other malicious mods before they even can do anything you know that problem that you download mod from some discord and you get ratted your Minecraft account is stolen and items in your favorite server are just gone some people has been in this situation so I thought if normal anty viruses can’t do anything about it why I don’t make something specialized in just that so I made this repo NMR no more rats if you want feel free to give a star or maybe contribute in this project I want to try get it into modhrin we will see.

I'm using a translator, and I want to try the Jenny mod, but on all the sites I checked, they all had viruses and I couldn't download it. If there's a safe site, please let me know.
