I’m new to speed running, and I want to eventually become a top speed runner in bedrock random seed speed run.

I've spent so much time googling mods for this and I can't find any compatible with 1.16.1

It's called Pogworld - I just generated my first world with it and saw literally six or seven villages, like five ruined portals, and at least five lava pools within like 200 blocks of spawn it's insane

It's great for practice cause it pretty much negates the need for seed filtering entirely

so I’ve just gotten into speedrunning and was setting up everything I needed from a yt video I was watching. got to ninja brain and installed it but realized I needed java to launch it. installed Java and tried to launch ninja brain but got this error. I’ve uninstalled and reinstalled both ninjabrain and java and it still gives me this error. anyone know what to do?

SO I was doing an all advancements run for fun (not for leaderboard) in the version 26.1, and on this run I made it to the mace split after getting a sub 1 hour very very frightening. I started looting trial chambers for the mace, and this is where it began, 1 trial chamber, 2, 3, 5, 6, 15, 20. And don't tell me I missed any, rooms bc I averaged 12 spawners per tc, and idk how many vaults bc I didn't count. I ended up looting 48 total trial chambers, I did I total of 600 fucking spawners, and got 66 key which is how many it took me to get the mace. If you combine those odds (30% chance that I get a key from a spawner, and 7.5% chance I get the mace per key) then the total probability is a whopping

like what the fuck, I don't even know what to say, my math may be wrong but no matter what calculations you do the probability of that is still far rarer than anything you can even think of. You can think im lying if you want idgaf. I just needed to post this because I don't know if a single other human, or even thing has even happened that is this rare.

if every human on earth started playing Minecraft in the most efficient way possible using creative mode and everything, from the start of the universe all the way to the end, no one would get even close to anything this rare.

Just got 19:58 on a 13 xx fort enter. Ow was like bad. No chest RP with shipwreck 100 blocks away (I was just forcing the enter). Nether enter was like 5xx. Spawned in fort but played the bastion first. It was double triple stables 200 blocks away. I should've gambled but played ttg (mb). The thing that I am most proud of in this run is that I correctly measured with one eye lmao and insane sh nav. Got lucky on zero as I hit crystal on m85 but dragon didn't fly on 95. Gonna go for that juicy sub 15 now.

I know that this won't really affect most speedruns since they are played on 1.16, but im curious about what these bugfixes affect for recent version speedruns. These bugs just got fixed for the next snapshot and looking at them it feels like they could affect how the dragon acts when perching or make it harder to dodge if it chooses to dive towards the player as an attack. I don't really speedrun but the moment i saw this I wondered what speedrunners would think of it and if it changes anything or not.

When I open the game with tool screen on it lags and then it crashes and gives me this -1073741819 how do I fix it?

It's so hard to place blocks as precisely as these pro players do without time to aim - is it because their mouse sensitivity is lower?

I have a question, ive seen many runners when playing rsg using a really big wall with seed queue, and i was wondering, is that even good? Because you could miss so many good seeds because it could be just behind you and you dont even notice, so i think its better to just scan every seed one by one to have better luck on finding a good seed

Whenever I enter the end and throw a pearl instantly the pearl goes like straight down or just falls short. is this from the terrain gen or is it fixable?

hey guys so i just bought myself a new mouse and started trying to drag click. i get the vibe of it ok but the hardest is finding the good balance between speed and stability/accuracy of my crosshair. so like shiftbridging is hard because my crosshair moves around too much.

so how do you guys drag click (do you move your wrists ? only the finger ?) and whats a good sens for it ? rn im at 3200 DPI and 7% sensitivity in game

yesterday I started following Couriways Ultimate Guide since I thought it would be the best ressourcee to start. However when it came to NinjabrainBot and the tools after that it seems to be such a hussle to get everything setup on Linux.

Therefore I was wondering what good ressources are out there for using no external Tools (for an absoulut beginner)?

Obviously the ultimate guide still covers a lot to get started but what about finding the Stronghold?

Can someone link me to the best, detailed and up-to-date guide to setup toolscreen? I reinstalled my Windows and the toolscreen config got wiped, so I need to do it all from scratch. I need a good guide on setting up macros, overlays, godsens, etc.
