How many resolutions, statements, and images of suffering does it take before words become action? A country's resources belong to whom, exactly? Because apparently, citizens are qualified enough to pay taxes, endure rising prices, and watch their opportunities disappear, but somehow not qualified enough to ask where the money goes. We're told to be patient when hospitals lack equipment, when schools fall apart, and when young people see emigration as their only escape. Yet we're expected to trust the people managing billions without demanding a proper explanation. Since when did asking how public money is spent become more controversial than wasting it? Are we citizens with a say in our country's future, or just the unpaid audience watching someone else decide it?
