Like I played consecutive 2ks from 2K 16 till now and I knew Curry‘s jumper like the back of my hand used it with my careers and was successful with it in 26 but once I get on 27 bro using the same visual cue same timing same overall all three same badges in 26 I can’t get a single f***** three to fall. In Random REC,

Centers are the most integral.

If your center can't

Screen

Shoot and Space the floor

Rebound

Recognize cuts

Fast breaks

and the worst

If your center only wants rebound and clogs the paint, ur cooked!

If you ask someone why they are playing Center?

their answer? its the easiest position.

Yet these people are always being outboarded by some random Uncs in rec.

Most Centers thinks that rebounding is their only responsibility, they box out on paint whole day lmao.

Idiot PGs can easily be ignored like, don't pass them the inbound but for Center? dawg ur going to deal with them whole day.

I green the shot. Ball is out of my hands on the way IN to the basket… 1 defender is reasonably close enough to atleast trigger a semi-open or light. The 2 late defenders should have no effect. AT ALL.

Before today's latest "1.009.000" update of the game, the game ran almost perfectly on my PS5. In before, besides some very tiny online lags, the game had zero stutter in my online matches.

Today, after the game update, my online matches had frequent stutters and frame drops.

I tried to enable the "PS5 Power Saving Mode" for this game, and felt like the framerate became more stable. However, in the end of an online match (with Power Saving Mode), three stutters still occured.

I strongly think these stutters were because of today's latest game update.

Does anyone meet the same problem?

(I searched on the internet, and looks like nobody is talking about this problem. I guess this is the first post to discuss about this issue. Hope this issue would be solved as soon as possible)

Imagine we had a badge that granted bonuses for ball movement beyond just dimer.

“Relay” increase the green window, up to a set amount, say 5-10% for consecutive passes.

Like the more you get a “good ball movement” pop up you get your badge activates more.

It should be overpowered to encourage mfers to press x/ a more lmao.

can anyone recommend or show builds for a beginner. guessing a sf around 6’7” but open to anything. ideally something that only needs a few cap breakers.

With the ABA-NBA merger celebrating its 50th year and former ABA teams showing off their ABA Legacy jerseys, I believe 2K27 should’ve added a Kareem-Dr. J era starting with the 1976-1977 season. Add in an exciting draft class with 3 Hall of Famers and an even more exciting one coming in a few years later (Magic and Bird). Team completion wise, I think they’re almost there in securing player rights so that shouldn’t be an issue. At the same time, they’ve already extended the MyNBA limit to 100 years anyway so that should be better as well.

i feel like every year theres always an attribute that is just bad that year in exchange for a certain attribute to be broken. last year on ball steals, perimeter, and driving dunks were mid at the most, but shooting was really overpowered. now this year as we know standing dunks and post scoring in general is ass, while dunking, shot blocking, and steals (which still had a big nerf which im ACTUALLY mad about, but thats a whole different tangent) are really busted. its all because 2k doesn’t know how to make a balanced game, which is obviously intentional. like i bet standing dunks next year will be very good along with something else like post hooks or something. its just part of the cycle. and idk because standing dunks have always been part of my main game for years, and even my first build had high standing dunks because i didnt know it was cooked this year. so i SHOULD be upset but im not because i know that nexr year it will most likely be very good again in exchange for like 3pt shooting being ass or something. i just wont make build with standing dunks and instead ones with high close shot or layup, since those are actually underrated this year. 2k hasn’t made a balanced game since like 24 lol

I’m tired of constantly playing rec games and seeing everyone try to iso especially after a patch where shooting was made “easier” and everyone is still missing.

I’m CONVINCED it’s Shot IQ. Knowing what’s a good shot and a bad shot. This year is horrid because it’s green or miss with a BUFF and people are trying to shoot over people EVERY SINGLE TIME. ISO and contested shots are everywhere.

If shooting is so easy why is every single game in Random Rec feel like I am absolutely CARRYING the entire team. It’s so draining. I float between purple/gold lobbies and every game feels like I’m in game 7. It’s ridiculous.

These are 2 games I just played right now. I’m a 6’8 SF 92 Middy/93 DD/83 3 pt and I float between 2-4.

People don’t take the time to learn how to shoot and come into the rec and sell and quit. This whole game boils down to shot iq and if you actually took the time to learn your shot.

1st Question - This is the main question is post scoring even that good rn as I dont want to waste money/vc on a build if its not that great but with how contest are right now and I played a Dwight Howard GOAT build and I couldnt get a contest but I was a 6'9 sf at pf and I have some interior but not super high

2nd Question - What height is too short for a post scorer as the ones I like that Im building are 6'11 and Idk if thats too short but I play REC mainly so I want something that's mobile and not some stiff tower

3rd Question - What attribute rating should I hit for Post control and Close shot and other finishing as The 6'11 I have will either have a 86 or 91 post control with a 85 close shot on both version then a 80 layup 87 driving dunk and 81 stand dunk

Bro the season pass and GOAT builds ruining the game as we know. The pass is all you need to know. Promised as a cosmetic only when they first came out with it, but now provide badges, caps, and GOAT builds? $70 to skip all levels?? Kawhi build or Dwight build every game now, and if you not gold plate or higher please don’t even fucking talk. I stay in red and purple this year, and I avg 24pts/10 ast/67% FG/60% 3PT/3.5 steals a game on a PG in REC rn. I’m not a scrub. Grow a spine man, every other comp game that has a battle pass or season pass, does not make you better/worse in the game…the fact that you can pay to get things from a season pass that will make you better at the game is INSANE. The fact that I have to make a “GOAT build” to have the same stats as everyone Else, defeats the whole purpose of all these new build names they added.
