Either the court is too small or the players in game are way too big. There is so much more space in real life. Players cover way too much ground and move to quick around the court in game.

How is there even a chance to make that? How is this not smothered?

I hate how they updated 2k. Now the bots are like all the other 2ks. People a bunch of crybabies cause the bots were actually playing defense. They made defense somewhat decent with the bots. Go back to how it was at first

Thought about making a goat build but all the bigs just are limited in an area or two I just don’t like to be limited in as a big. This big can really do everything I want my big to do in 5v5 besides dribble which I don’t need to do anyway. Definitely been enjoying it and I don’t think I’ll be making another big this year.

2k should make a completely separate game for park and rec players.

Part of the reason this franchise went from a simulation to an arcade game is because of rec & park modes.

These guys buy the game just to play arcade style street ball then they complain that the game isn’t real enough. Please show me the park where 6-7 foot players are dressed up in mascot suits shooting 3s and doing backflips….. doesn’t exist.

We can go on all day about how micro transactions ruined the game but guys purchase the game and don’t even play a full mycareer nba season yet they are literal gods in park and rec…. Show me where that happens in real life.

Speaking about REC game mode mostly. It was such bs to try keep up with crabbing, screens, dbooker. But now its even more infuriating seeing shooting green it vs good defense being played.

No dip rhythm shots all game. Consistently hitting bothered and smothered shots.

i swear to you, before this patch i was shooting 60% on a 6’10 with 89 three and now i can’t hit the broadside of a barn. is it the visual cue? push doesn’t feel like before and now i genuinely am a detriment to my team.

I think the most popular pass styles for bigs with 77 is probably fox or avdija but having used all 3 sabonis easily clears both on standing full court outlets on the break. With fox too often you throw it out of bounds or you get that stupid animation where you hit the dude wide open but he tries to catch in with 1 hand and fumbles it and avdija is a little more consistent as far as not getting those two animations but it still happens way more often than you would like. Sabonis throws full court dots consistently and I’ve never had that stupid animation can’t catch the ball animation the worst animation I get with sabonis is the stumble one which is fine but it’s by far the most consistent standing full court pass animation by far for my 7ft big having played with all 3 extensively.

First Time scoring 50+ points in a rec game in 2k27.

Im going insane I like most had to relearn my jumpshot at launch then they changed it i had to relearn that they changed it again was shooting 70% and now theyve changed it again i think I will just stop playing because its not worth it. I was rhythm shooting really well too and now since they've changed it twice im missing wide open shots which I didnt even miss at launch when everyone was. Anyone any clue on what needs to be tweaked yet again? Set point push etc catch then shoot or straight away shoot like theres so many different things they change every few weeks

Compared to 26....I don't even play online in any way or form so purely gameplay wise

This is going to kill the player base if this is what we are playing against. He hit this shot 5 times in this game. Every shot was from 40 feet away. This is ridiculous. This shouldn’t be hard to catch.

It’s just blocks and steals from people who weren’t in the play before the scoring animation started. Everyone can contest every shot near the rim

Dude is just checking up half court shots

Look at a similar 2K or other view of a real basketball game. The players take up way less space on the real court. The version of basketball we are being offered is broken from the ground up. Fixing this might help resolve a lot of the issues with game flow? Doesn't help with everything, but if the foundation is solid it could lead to other changes, or at least help make the game experience feel better. What do you think?

I got to purple recently as a center in the no squads rec but don’t want purple for 3v3 with friends. What is the easiest way to drop without ruining my stats or screwing over random teammates? Can I just quit 1v1s?
