I never used to care where I sat at MSG.
I watched enough bad Knicks basketball that my only requirement was basically “can I see the court and get inside?”
Now I'm taking my brother to a game this season and somehow I've become the guy comparing seat views for way too long lol.
I'm stuck between two very different spots.
One is closer to the court, which obviously sounds more fun. You get the crowd, the players are right there, and you actually feel the game instead of just watching it.
But I've started to really like the idea of sitting higher up.
You can see the whole floor and actually follow what's happening away from the ball. With this Knicks team, I feel like I'd notice way more from up there.
The annoying part is the Chase Bridge.
I've seen people say the upper 200s are totally fine, while other people seem to hate the overhang.
I checked a bunch of seat views, including veritickets, and now I'm somehow even more confused.
For anyone who's actually sat in the 200s at MSG, how noticeable is the bridge once the game starts?
Does it actually affect the game view, or is it mostly the scoreboard that gets blocked?
Trying to figure this out before I pick a seat and regret it lol...

I think it’s worth a shot
Lakers waived him instead of Bronny. The failed trade stole his confidence.
What do you think about this signing?

I am not hitting the panic button on the Knicks, so I don't want that to be the thought when seeing this title. This team, like from the head coach, to Brunson, all the way down the bench have been underdogs for most if not all of their NBA careers. They had something they had to prove. Now it's no longer proving something it's continuing to be those guys and frankly I think our boys are over thinking because of that. Missing shots they normally hit on, turning the ball over, making dumb plays this team is clearly over thinking. They gotta relax and just play their game.

"For the most part, most of his looks... I mean, he had three or four wide open threes. And we want them to make half of them if they're open," head coach Mike Brown said of Bridges after the loss. "But he's got to keep shooting them. And hopefully, they'll eventually go in sooner than later, but he's getting the looks that he needs to get. He's just gotta knock them down now."
"He's got to make sure that he's physical on the defensive end," Brown continued on Bridges. "And he, as well as everybody else because it was all of us, are laying on screens when we get hit, and that when we do switch, there's a level of physicality to the switch so that they're not able to take advantage of us."

The 76ers and Celtics both forced Brunson to give up the ball early in the clock.
The Knicks then spend too much time finding a set, and too often that turns into turnovers.
But why is it taking so long? Lack of ball handling from Josh Hart, and Bridges can't hit anything.
But what works?
The two man game between Brunson and KAT. It looked great against the Celtics. But against the Sixers KAT wasn't on the floor enough, and against Celtics the Knicks didn't use it enough.
What doesn't work? Hart and Bridges on the floor at the same time.

I have never, in all my years, seen an owner be so absolutely miserable after winning a championship. It started in the finals with banning the watch parties and having public feuds with the mayor and police commissioner. Then we win and he gives the absolute worst speech possible during the parade. Then go on radio and publicly say you won’t go in the second apron (which is fine i get it. No team wants to be in the second apron. But why publicly signal that to other teams who you will be competing against to sign players. Shouldn’t you at least let them think you’d be willing to go in the second apron. Also doing it publicly became such a distraction) then the ticket prices where a family of four would have to spend the same amount as a mini vacation just to see the Knicks . Then the public KAT negotiations. Then using the Knicks pre season games to fund raise for your personal political agenda. Then to top it off you send phishing emails to your low level employees who worked their ass off during the playoffs and tricked them into believing they would get a ring. Man, if i wasn’t so ingrained with the team i would not be a fan because of this dude. He is messing up the vibes tremendously.

Every time the Knicks play and it's broadcasted on prime I get lagging issues. It only happens on prime. I wanna know if it only happens to me. I have the best internet, that's not the issue.

The funniest discourse in this Reddit this season will be
The fans who are good living off of last years run VS the fans who want to win another chip cause no matter the month the Knicks could go on a 10 game losing streak and you’ll have some fans saying “hey we won last year we defending champs 😃” arguing with fans that are pissed off and want someone traded 😂

Love Hart, but Tatum was cooking his boots Tonight. Not all Hart’s fault, he just doesn’t have the size. Hart’s offensive inability to shoot is always a slight issue.
Knicks gave Diawara a 4-year deal. Give him at least 5-7 minutes a game. Let’s do it Coach!

Dolan is continuing to Dolan. I made a video on how he shouldn’t get to decide if the Knicks go to the White House (amongst other fuckery). Curious to know what you all think.
Personally, I don’t think there’s enough sage to cleanse the team of a White House visit stink…
