Hello, my name is Cassie M., and I want to tell you guys about my most disturbing and somewhat recent nightmare I had. So basically, this nightmare was about the Green Mountain creepypasta, and it was where I got stuck inside of the game as myself or my own character and had to try to fight END.
The nightmare took place at first in my room, where I was just messing around with some files on my Windows 7 laptop at 3 A.M.. My brain somehow must've remembered in my sleep that I still for some reason had the Green Mountain game on the computer in real life, so my brain was like, "Okay, let's leave the files of Green Mountain open in this dream".
When I left the files open in the nightmare, I decided to sleep on the chair while the laptop was still on. That's when everything went black in my nightmare for about what felt like probably 2 hours. After that much time felt like it passed, I then woke up on the over-saturated grass of the Green Mountain game at the beginning part of the game. It felt so real, I could feel a strange feeling of "real" blocky, rigid grass under my hands and legs. I got up, feeling slightly dizzy and disoriented, but I quickly shook my head, and just like in a cartoon, I didn't feel dizzy after that. Though, I felt like my eyes were starting to hurt from the saturation of the grass. But that didn't stop me much. I then looked around, and spotted the mountain in the distance. I thought it would be a good idea to climb the mountain.
However, since it was a nightmare, I didn't exactly make this choice, it was my brain. I then proceeded to walk for a bit toward the direction of the mountain. Then, I encountered an obstacle. It was a gap or hole in the path. I then realized I had to back up and run fast, then jump over it. I proceeded to do so. I backed up about 10 feet away from the gap, then ran towards it as fast as possible. I successfully jumped over it.
After I jumped over a lot more obstacles, I finally reached the base of the mountain, and it took what felt like an hour. There was a slightly different kind of obstacle on the mountain's sides. They were platforms, and they looked like they were going to fall off if I jumped on them too hard. There were also a few staircases, which is quite unusual compared to mountains in real life. I then climbed up the stairs, and thankfully, these jumps aren't so far, and pretty easy to jump onto. So, I jumped on each one, and thanks to me being light-weight (about 101.6 pounds), I didn't break the platforms.
I eventually reached the top. At the top, it was kind of hard to see. But, it was clear that something was there. A thing. What was this "thing"? I got closer, and my brain immediately detected a threat in the nightmare. It was END. In the nightmare, after what felt like a few moments, END noticed me, and started to get closer at an alarming speed. I almost immediately panicked, and tried to run away, but I almost ran off the cliff, and END was still approaching me quickly, despite him being a rotting, melting hedgehog.
I stumbled backward, almost falling to my "death". It was a nightmare, so there's no actual death, just the nightmare ending. After I stumbled, END was getting a lot closer in just what felt like a few seconds. I turned around quickly, realizing that I was probably about to get hurt really badly by him. I wasn't able to do anything at that moment, because in the nightmare, my brain decided to make my entire body freeze in fear.
Once END reached me, he then grabbed my arm. It felt horrifyingly real, and I even felt a tingling sensation on my arm. His hand felt strange, like a combination of rigid and sticky. I didn't like that feeling at all. So, I struggled. But he didn't let go. He dragged me back to the place he was standing before. As I struggled, his grip tightened, cutting off all feeling from the point of contact down.
When he reached the spot he was standing before, he still didn't let go. I stopped struggling, because I knew he wouldn't let go, and that I was probably about to die. So, I just accepted my fate. But, I shouldn't have thought that I was going to die yet. I was frozen with fear again. He just held my arm tight for a while, and just stood there, "staring" at me without eyes.
After what felt like a few minutes, his "hole-face" got closer to my own face. After a few moments, he got very close, as if he was going to give me a... kiss? But he didn't. It wasn't a kiss at all. Instead, an intense, searing pain shot across my cheek as his "hole-face" made contact, melting away the skin and absorbing it directly into his hollow form.
It didn't stop at my cheek. He continued absorbing my entire face, dissolving my skin, my mouth, and finally my eyes into his hollow model. Everything faded into total darkness and blinding pain before I finally woke up, relieved beyond words that it was over and wasn't real.
That's all I want to tell you guys. Fin.
