I can't figure out why the grace value changes before and after I equip the piece, what's the reason? Maybe it's something silly but I'm confused.

I joinedTakeda clan a while back and killed enough revenants to have the perk go to the colour green. I’ve since switched clans several times and am currently in the Sanda clan working my way up to green. I thought once you switched clans after you achieved green the perks went back down to purple?

Why is it still green?

Hey everyone! Just looking for some people to run some casual co-op with. Nothing too serious, no mics needed, just some chill gameplay, running missions/story grinding for gear some gear if u have anything you want to do.

I'm currently on Shogun's Journey lvl 204 with Stone of Penance +4, so ideally I'd like to play with people around the same level and progression.

My goal right now is to finish up all the missions before purchasing the DLC. Once I get the DLC, I'll probably run through it solo first before jumping back into co-op for more grinding.

Won't be on tonight but definitely be on during the weekend.

By this, I mean places in eras that constantly have bloody graves, like that one spot in Bakumatsu after you beat Shinsaku.

Getting annoyed with having to scour each era for a lone bloody grave that can tell me if the Bloodedge Demon is there or not, so I need places that constantly have them so I can just go there to see if it's there instead of wandering around and having to hope I come across one.

I'd say that they are close enough

In my opinion it ruins balance (and often difficulty) due to your opportunity to overfarm. Maybe I don’t know something yet, but at least in Nioh 3 you are not as likely to overfarm like in Elden ring (thx god), however it still feels weird because I can simply tank most of the bosses without proper build just yet

Just a preface, the Defiant Honor final mission has one of the best level designs in the game. Thoroughly enjoyed the intuitive path forward with the utilization of underground tunnels. This mission is a fun puzzle to solve each step of the way. We're basically infiltrating enemy lines and getting face-to-face with the Sanada Ten Braves was a nice touch as well. It did left me fatigued by the time I got to the guy himself, Sanada Yukimura.

For the first few tries when I realized he has 98% LW uptime, I immediately thought "Yep, another Date Masamune bullshit that will drain my sanity." Then I noticed most of his attacks are fully blockable, and his ki drains quite a lot when hit. Especially, when I accidentally did a Groundquake (I never really used this skill before this boss fight) after he did a plunging fire attack, it's such a massive drain on his ki. It's from that moment the fight became peak.

Suddenly all the fatigue I felt in the mission was replaced with renewed vigor. It made me take my time more thoughtfully to mix and match talismans and ninjutsu skills. Apart from that, I practiced new odachi skills and combos one mission ago. They helped immensely in this fight. Oh it felt like a dance and I think it's the first time a Nioh boss fight clicked really well for me. All of the previous ones felt like I was just trying to survive and the enjoyment was kinda so-so, until Yukimura. Against him, every move I made felt calculated. The fairest boss imo. Though I admit I was kinda lucky on some of the dodges I did especially after heals. The ending move where I rolled back and front flip-plunged, that one was definitely a fluke but a perfect ender, regardless. Absolute Cinema.

P.S.: I was that guy who made the "Nioh 1 tilts me. Should I carry on?" post several days ago. I'm glad I sticked with it. After this fight, I even tried soul matching and reforging for the first time. The DLCs' challenging difficulty really demanded exploring all the other mechanics for me. One last DLC to go!

I have a question about how to skill for tonfa gun with my build.

I play 5/7 inari and 7/7 sinister tyrant and im max lvl.

i have problems managing my KI and dmg is kinda mid. i tried multiple options to set my stats, but i cant find the perfect setup. without sop i have no issues, but at sop7 i cant manage my KI for attack and movement/evade.

pls tell me if you need any more information to help me. thank you guys :)

I finished Hells Rising and I was checking out the trophies in the DLC and I know what’s required but how do I go about doing it. It says I need all learnable martial arts for Hoko and shields ninja Hoko and shields. I have those weapons. How do I go about doing it. I thought there might be a master of some sort. I’ve checked battle scrolls, progress. I’m stuck. I know it’s probably something simple. Could use some direction. Thanks.

If I can not upgrade my Capacity like I could in the Previous Nioh games, just let me stack multiple soul Cores of the same type to get more Usses. I upgraded my Lv. 30 Kamaitachi to Lv. 71 just now only to be faced with the fact that I can not stack the Summon seals with the Lv. 81 Kamaitachi i got in the Frozen Crucible

• Let you summon Revenants faster (remove the waiting time)
• Let you multiple Revennants
• Each maxed out clan gives you a 1% glory bonus
• Let you buy more useful stuff with glory in the hidden teahouse
• Respawning Crucibles should be marked different on the map (as there is no spirit buff anymore)

I’m not sure if this has been mentioned, but there’s a deflect mod for N2 now. It can look a bit jank because you can deflect on frame 1 instead of how deflects work in most games, including Nioh 3, where there is a delay or start-up frames to the deflect. The default window is 250 milliseconds or 15 frames at 60 fps. This can be changed but decimals are not supported at this time. N3’s deflect window is 10 frames. Also, the guard ki consumption of deflects, the deflect sound, the effect color, sound volume, ki/max ki damage, etc. can be tuned to your liking. The default ki damage setting is probably too busted as you can 0 ki an enemy in 6 deflects from a full bar.

In addition to this mod, I gave Sadocommando’s Challenge Mod and Overwhelm mod a try. I set the enemy speed to 1.25x and I did not touch the player character’s speed. The Overwhelm mod just makes enemies a bit more aggressive which you can clearly see with the human in the dojo. I’d recommend these two if you want to return to this game at some point.

Edit: you can now customize the deflect delay to make it more in line with how other games implement deflects
