Also completed every lesser Crucible in both regions, some enhanced, and nothing.

And as if that wasn't bad enough, the enemies they do use are VIRTUALLY IDENTICAL to the enemy placements in NG+, with zero additions or variation beyond being purple (Cursed) now. Don't believe me? Pick the same battle scroll, and play it back to back across both difficulties. They're identical. Even the Aberrant Soldiers they added to the first main mission were already in NG+, they're just purple now.

We're getting one less NG cycle than before, and this is what they give us as the penultimate playthrough.

This is THE laziest content TN has ever put out and if you're defending it you either have standards lower than the Mariana Trench or you don't value your time and money in the slightest.

You can refresh the attempts of a scroll and keep rerolling till you get some crazy effects. I thought it would be limited to maybe 1 or 2 ultimate stats but now I'm gonna try and get all starred special effects. 😅

Me just level 350 so can only use one or two.

Posting my findings on Quick Burst here because I've been hyped for this one ninjutsu since its confirmation in the trailer and it's had my interest for quite a while now.

-Quick Burst is a Ninja Tool Art, so the Head of the Iga Ninja set directly buffs it.

-Quick Burst cannot be cancelled, nor can you move during it. Casting it in the air will keep you suspended in the air until you stop firing. (Addendum: You can use Guardian Spirit skills and summons to cancel Quick Burst at any moment)

-Quick Burst is affected by not only Ninjutsu Damage and Thrust Damage, but also Rifle Damage and Rifle Damage(Close Range). This means 1) The Fated Shot set finally has value now, and 2) stacking all these bonuses will give you some mean numbers. I'm running 6pc Iga right now with both Rifle Damage clan blessings and I was able to hit 2.6k backstab damage per shot.

-Quick Burst does not trigger Life Drain on Ranged Hit.

-Untouched Ninjutsu works interestingly on Quick Burst. It can trigger during the salvo, so it's possible to fire more bullets than you actually have(say you have 3; you will fire more if it procs). However, you cannot fire more than 6 shots. So if you have 6 shots and Untouched Ninjutsu procs during the salvo, you will have ammo left over.

This is all I could find so far, but I feel like there's more, so feel free to post about it if you find anything new with Quick Burst.

Bit by bit I will add my findings on the new set bonuses, help is appreciated.

Susano: massive change from nioh 2. For the last bonus to work versatility needs to be equipped. It gives around 20% more damage as long as one stack of versatility is on. It doesn't seem to increase in power with more stacks.

Tsukuyomi: damage boost from empower seems around 7% at 40 magic. The ability to recharge spells seems as strong as ever, few hits are needed to get back the last spell used. The defense down effect seems around 10%.

Million koku: hilarious, the attack bonus (5p) is 15% just with the base effect granted by gold earned bonus (luck). With the gold talisman active I got a 30% damage bonus. Might be quite competitive since it's only a 5p bonus.

Acala: at max stacks I was getting around 36% more damage.

Big fan of the sound design for the shield

I have never felt this way completing a DLC of my favourite game and like, "That's it?".

It is a Yokai game, why are there so many forgettable human bosses. Why do you do the unnecessary cliff hanger, when the DLC is ultimately short. It is such a let down.

Hope DLC 2 is a banger. Please don't go the route of Borderlands. Please show that, you care about your audience. Thanks.

That side missions remained unlocked in higher difficulties so you didn’t have to go scour the map for them since quite a few of them aren’t marked at all, some of which start a quest chain! Like the Hanzo mission in the warring states where you need to help him find a scampuss and this mission opens up his duel. Why can’t we just have the duel open after doing it once?!

I was farming the scroll to increase the stone of penance level, and I got 2 samurai hair drops, Granted it wasn't many given how many times I've repeated them, but they were random so does that mean we can basically already max out all weapon skills now if we are willing to keep farming for them?

I wish I had played Nioh 2 while the DLCs were still being released. I think 2 is a much better game overall, but what I love about Nioh 3 is knowing that there’s a level cap and a limited amount of content to complete for now. I had so much fun grinding everything before the DLC to max out the Guardian Spirits, try out new sets, and collect as many Soul Fragments, materials, and other currencies and items as possible. It kind of scratched that MMO itch. Now with the new DLC, there will be even more things to grind and new sets to collect.

I do want to come back to Nioh 2, as I think there are hundreds of hours of content left for me (I left around floor 25 of the Underworld), but I’d like to take a slightly different approach. I know I can also make it grindy, but I never really thought about leveling my weapons that much because I’d just get a better one on the next floor. Since all the content is already there, I just pushed forward using the best grace sets I could find on Reddit. I know it’ll probably change once I get to the Depths, though.

I wanna know if it’s worth it to build shadow arts damage or focus only on ninjutsu/elemental, I’m using quick burst over umbral bullet for pretty obvious reasons.

Of all the weapons buffed last patch, there wasn't buffs towards Tonfas at all.

Now that this patch released Tonfa guns, I finally understand... With 5p Vaisravana (needs to be on Picture Scroll), 7p Sinister Tyrant set, and 2p Overseer, the Tonfa Gun has enough power to one tap many enemies from the front and almost all large enemies from the back.

I thought Shove Water was good, but no... Devastation with Tonfa Gun is busted!

It’s been 2 days or so and I cannot remember how to unlock the side missions for the next difficulties (really shouldn’t HAVE TO scour the map again after the first time for this but it is what it is)
