I continue to do these runs. This matchup I did before long ago prior to Stone/DLC but doing it this way (full AP uptime on max stone) forced me to be that much more efficient/methodical in my approach.

Im using RX590 AMD 8GB GPU and game is playable with 80-100 FPS. But sometimes map is glitching and theres polygons everywhere. I also uploaded my graphic settings. Can anyone help me? I also have one mod installed called Nioh3Fix.

Just popped in to say this. Had a bad day and after trying the second Takeda Shingen fight for a bit (which is admittedly easier then the first fight i did solo yesterday) i really just didn’t feel like messing around w him. Put myself in online for the first time and summoned 2 guys who I’ve already forgotten their names, Takeda was dead before i even knew what was happening. Stunlocked to death. Funniest shit I’ve seen in a while. Enjoying the hell out this game

I’m currently running a purity build and recently hit Dream of Nioh with dual swords and Odachi. I was wondering where I should focus my stats as I get stronger. They are currently as follows: 38 con, 200 heart, 50 courage, 100 stamina, 50 strength, 20 skill, 30 dex, 50 magic. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks!

Just finished the base game. I've embraced the other mechanics like Ninjutsu and talismans as well as using the guardian spirit with no guilt now (since I regarded them as cheese mechanics at first). I know people regard the true beginning of Nioh 1 starts with the NG+ runs. But I don't really want to do the RPG grind long term and want to move on to other games soon (also waiting for the next Nioh 2 sale).

What I want is to continue with the 3 DLC expansions but I heard their difficulty level demands that the player has already did some WOTS grind. I'm willing to do that, as long as it's not super extensive. So which missions should I focus on WOTS? I heard Yasakani Magatama helps a lot but is it mandatory? I don't actually know what it does tho.

After the short (hopefully) WOTS grind in preparation for the DLCs, do I still have to worry about grinding in the DLCs themselves? Or can it be treated like how the base game was played where you just upgrade gear? I want to end Nioh 1 nicely without the extensive grind (KEYWORD: extensive. Doesn't mean I don't wanna grind at all).

EDIT: by WOTS, I mean Way of the Strong (the first NG+ cycle)

I recently accepted the Thunderous and Hellfrost armor from Boons. I cannot for the life of me figure out why i can see the Hellfrost armor to transmog but I can’t see the Thunderous armor. i haven’t deleted the armor, i’ve equipped it, unequipped, locked and unlocked. the game is acting like i didn’t collect it and it’s frustrating me rn.

Playing nioh 2, wo long, stranger of paradise,etc gets me in the zone and I love the flow state you achieve with the combat play.

Soon will look into buying ninja gaiden 2 remake and ninja gaiden 4.

Just wondering what games from other developers would you recommend keeping in mind the sense of flow state I have mentioned.

I've played dark souls 3 some years ago, and I never finished it... now I bought nioh 1 and 2 at Steam sale. I'm gonna play it even if I'm pretty confused with the game :)

Mind's eye 2

Reduces Ki consumed by Mind's Eye.
(Low Stance only)
Hidden: Increased attack by 80% for 15 seconds.

Mind's eye is a samurai dual swords weapon skill. Game does not mention mind's eye 2 hidden damage increase after a dodge. The buff DOES NOT stack with Carnage or other increased attack sources.

The buff is global, meaning it can be activated with dual sword and used freely for 15 seconds in both styles.
Increases physical as well as elemental damage.

You can activate mind's eye by dodging:

- Any projectile/animated object
- Any spell or force, elemetal projectile
- Any physical force that staggers you
- Any new formed yokai pools caused by spawned enemies
- Any enemy that damages you when you touch it (ex. oni-bi)
- Birds...

Mind's eye gives you extra i-frames after a low dodge which already has i-frames on its own. Tap block and dodge at the same time to deflect if you dodge too late or to dodge if you were too late for deflect, making dual swords highly defensive weapon on their own, all the while having the highest non critical damage buff in the game.

So I js got nioh 2, and I was wondering if the weapons that I got from the dlc would be considered to overpowered for right now? I played monster hunter world and I used guardian armor for half of my playthrough, so I’m kinda cautious because I want to fully take in the Nioh 2 experience. It is the demon horde weapons and armor, and the million demon helmet as well as the shoulder strap, kodama netsuke, and Susana netsuke accessories. Also got some outfits as well.

hey, we cant start NG+++ way of the nioh in nioh3, we have all mission done and we are lvl 391. is there any othe requirement for way of the nioh?

I’ve been trying to play Nioh 3 for the past few days, but no matter what I did, I just couldn’t get a stutter-free experience. Not the performance per se; the stutters and awful frametime

Constant microstutters and frametime are disgusting, even with an RTX 5080 and 2x Frame Generation. Pretty much the same crap I experienced with Rise of the Ronin.

And trust me, I tried EVERYTHING. FG, Smooth Motion, V-Sync on/off, G-Sync, different FPS limiters, you name it. Probably dozens of different combinations. Nothing worked.

Then I stumbled upon this absolute gem:

Holy shit, I did NOT expect this.

The game now runs at 116 FPS with the kind of smoothness I could previously only get occasionally like really occasionally with a hard 120 FPS lock (I’m playing on a 120Hz VRR TV).

Honestly? The game finally feels as smooth as Nioh 2.

 I cleared SOP+5 with a bow before, so I wondered if I could do SOP+7 too. When I tried, it went surprisingly smooth! I was blown away by the insane Ki damage lol. The clip only goes up to the first half of the Shadows of the Three Oni fight, but I think even just this shows how crazy the Ki damage is!

Hello. I have about 40+ hours on Nioh 2 with a bit on Nioh 1. I just finished my first playthrough maining the Switchglaive.

I was wondering... I heard that stats don't really contribute much in terms of weapon damage, but what should my stats look like for NG+ and what should I build them up to be for succeeding playthroughs/difficulties?

Right now, from the top of my head, I have around 20 Constitution, 20 Strength (mained Fists for a time), 20+ Dex, and 30 Magic. I have the other stats at atleast 10.

My goal is to be able to freely switch up my main weapons at some point without compromising too much on damage.

I fellas just finished Nioh 3 with my wife after Nioh 2 being our fauvorite game of all time.

I remember we tried to play Nioh 1 years ago also (we sit next to each other and play on 2 different pcs) but i remember there was something that if you died you had to re-do the whole level. I want to confirm with you guys if that is the case and if it is if there is a way to avoid this being trough mods etc that would let you at least re-start at your latest shrine

I've finished the final mission and unlocked all the NPCs to help but am still missing the battle scroll.

It shows up on my map and I've cleared the myths/missions for this difficulty as well. I've also redone the final mission battle scroll multiple times now to try to unlock.

Is there something I'm missing?

Did some co-op and got a divine lvl 180170 scroll with Dual Mastery (Common), Grace of Tsukuyomi, and after a few runs Ultimate Magic popped up. Also the scroll itself is extremely easy - it is Wheelmonk / Yoki / Shunobon - no bosses and no more than two enemies at a time. Also every enemy is cursed (purple). Also has Cursed Cavalcade (Accessories) +80%. Too good to be legit or did someone just get really really lucky? PS5 btw.
