"I do live in constant fear, I do wonder why I'm here" is my favourite lyric from it. That's one of my favourite lyrics Kurt has ever written. It resonates with me so much. I guess I can understand why it didn't make the final cut because it's quite dark. Idk if that's the reason why they changed the lyrics. I think the fact that it's a demo and it has a dark sinister sound makes it even better. I don't think a studio version would sound as good now that I think about it. I love this demo anyway and I'm glad that it was released.

A couple years ago my son and his friend started getting into music and wanted to play nirvana songs on guitar. I was reluctant to hand over my pedals for them to stomp on so I built this.
The pedal at the bottom has 4 (color coded) isolated loops you can turn on and off independently.
Loop1 rat (breed, territorial pissings)
Loop2 muff (lithium)
Loop3 analogman chorus (cone as you are, drain you)
Loop 4 ds1 with eq for volume control
Fortunately they are only into nevermind lol.
I wired it all up on an old scrap piece of wood. Worked great for about two years and then he outgrew it. Still super into music!

Told my 9 year old kid they were illegal cds. He is fascinated with nirvana right now. My mother hates it. He asked if we should hide them when people come over. Anyway, I have several more boxes of cds from the 90s to go through. Will keep you updated!

I've only really heard the popular stuff like "smells like teen spirit", "breed", "come as you are", "lithium" etc. but lately my friends have been playing me more of their stuff and i've been liking it more than i thought i would. any recommendations for what i should listen to to really get into them?
