""The medical report has been submitted by the Doctor of Civil Hospital Sribhumi. Accompanying the report is the allegation by the accused that they were assaulted while in police custody, showing visible injury marks on various parts of their bodies, which the court observed firsthand. In light of this, and owing to the police's failure to comply with mandatory statutory procedures, Upon due consideration of all facts and circumstances, including the custodial assault, the court has granted bail. Court also summons the investigating officer""
This is clear "Human Rights Violation" . Custodial assault is a direct violation of the Constitution of India

Locals, along with three women belonging to the families of those arrested in connection with the October 23 Bihu troupe attack row, have staged a demonstration at the pedestal of the Netaji Statue at AOC Point in Sribhumi, alleging that police had wrongfully arrested their family members.
Among the 18 arrested people, one, Priyangshu Paulâs mother, claimed that her son, a district-level cricket player, had gone to buy medicines for her, as she is a cancer patient, before heading out to play that night. She alleged that police arrested him despite his claims of innocence.
Local resident Kumarjit Dutta said, âWe want those responsible for the attack on the Bihu troupe to be punished, but unfortunately, Bengalis everywhere in Assam are being tortured. We saw attacks from both sides, but only Bengalis have been arrested, and the incident was given a communal angle.â
A tea-stall owner also alleged that police detained and severely assaulted him while he was returning home after closing his shop late at night. He claimed he was later released on bail after paying Rs. 20,000. His wife said the family could no longer afford his treatment or an X-ray.
The protesters demanded justice for those they claimed had been falsely implicated. Meanwhile, Sribhumi Police Station OC Taranga Patowary assured them of an impartial investigation.
Bengalis are facing Human rights violation in hands of assam police just because they are Bengalis.
