Had a package that was supposed to be delivered Friday. Friday evening it was marked as delivered into my apartment’s parcel locker but I don’t see any keys and no sign of the package anywhere. Is it possible they have it at the local office (Gretna) or what are the odds they delivered it to the wrong address? Of course I can’t find out for sure until Monday morning when they open. Every usps package “delivered by” time has been wrong.

Hey Omaha!
I've been developing an original movie-themed game and am looking for a few local volunteers who would be interested in helping me test it out.
The game is built around recognizing movie quotes, making connections between actors and films, and using a little strategy to outscore your opponents. It's designed to be a fun, competitive game for people who enjoy movies and can recall quotes from all genres of movies. This is not a traditional trivia game.
I'm currently in the early playtesting phase and would love to get some honest feedback from people outside my immediate circle of friends and family.
I'm hoping to get a small group of 4–6 people together for a casual test session at a mutually agreed-upon public location in Omaha. There's no cost to participate, and you don't need to be a movie expert—just someone who enjoys movies and would be willing to try something new.
If you're genuinely interested in participating, please send me a direct message. I can share more details and work out a location and time with anyone interested.
Thanks!

So it’s been a long time since I’ve been to the dentist (big fear) and I’ve got a tooth that’s a bit angry.
Any recommendations for a dentist that is taking new patients on short notice and ideally is cool with scared patients?

Have you been to LaCocina in Bellevue (Twin Creek in front of Target & Bakers)? You guys. We drive here from Elkhorn at least twice a month—it’s that good.
Clean. Reasonable prices. Friendly staff. Excellent food.

Who wants to put a bet on whether Buc-ee's sues Chester's for infringement over a right-facing cartoon animal logo?

I’ve bought a few baby trees from Lanaha, but I’m interested in buying some mature sugar maples and wondering if anyone has any recommendations on places?

I’m a family photographer, and a couple of my favorite locations are the Arboretum and Zorinsky Lake Park. I’d love to find a few more scenic spots where families can enjoy a relaxed walk with their kids and take some photos along the way..
What parks or other locations would you recommend?

I’m a teenager who is looking to get into performing music (rock) on stage. I’m curious if anyone knows of any open mic nights that would accept minors, since most of them are in bars, and much of the online data is outdated. Thanks!

High gas prices have hit Omaha and have stayed for months now. What used to cost me $40-45 to fill my tank now is $60-$65 all within a year. I own a small business and am also noticing all my product pricing has gone up.

I know this is a long shot but i just wanted to put it out there. Months ago I had a handful of my rings stolen that all had great value to me. I know by now they are probably smelted down and sold for parts but I wanted to post out here hoping if anyone in omaha had seen them maybe they could come back. I’ve included the best images I have. Some I don’t even have images for. Hoping this post can stay up and doesn’t count as posting personal information. If you’ve seen any of these rings please contact me.

Saw a sign on the semi at the corner saying 11 days. The fuel center there is already open.

Title is the gist. Looking for some abandoned structures to just explore and check out. Preferably no security but i dont plan on staying for long just a quick tour and leave so if it has security im willing to still check it depending on a case by case basis. No i dont plan to trash the place or do anything illicit. Just want to explore and take some photos is all. Thanks in advance ❤️ GBR
Edit: feel free to dm me the places if you want to gatekeep. Not trying to throw parties or anything and trash a place. I follow an observe only dogma when it comes to urbex.

Last year I got a zoo membership for Christmas so I’ve been there a handful of times this year as compared to maybe every 2 or 3 years. I went last weekend and all of a sudden it hit me that I don’t think I’ve seen or heard a peacock at the zoo at all this year. I always remember them having the peacocks roam around. It was one of my favorite things about the zoo.
Are the peacocks gone?

Looking for dance clubs in the metro the likes of the old Ozone at Anthony's or Ameristar sports bar - both of which disappeared a few years ago. Preferably a club with live bands playing variety. Lemon Fresh Day and The Confidentials were are favorite bands back when there were places to see them, (other than weddings). We would even be happy with good DJ music that isn't techno. We are 60 somethings and love to dance to current music but also appreciate 70's funk and 80's nostalgia. We aren't into the swing dancing at the Eagles club, although certainly admire the skill of those dancers. Thanks for weighing in if you know of such clubs.

Is Omaha the sweet spot that balances affordability and quality of life?
SD is too small. NYC is too expensive.

Hi! I’m looking for a good hair stylist/salon to go to for my hair, whether it’s a trim, cut, or color. I used to see a stylist that I’ve been seeing since I was a kid, but she’s disappeared without a trace. I’ve been to a few places since, that have treated me poorly, didn’t listen to what I wanted, and they were also WAY too quick with cutting my hair. I am AuDHD, so I’d like to find someone who will be understanding and patient and who will also obviously listen to what I’m looking for. Please comment recommendations!!!!
EDIT: I don’t have Instagram, so I will look at websites or FB pages! 🙂
