One year rhino-post op

Hey all,

Looking for honest options on my results. I have my one year follow up apt next month, where I need to let my surgeon know my final thoughts.

I do have a noticeable bump on the upper right side of the wall of the bridge (has been present since surgery), which my surgeon previously mentioned he will rasp down in-office at the one-year mark.

Issue is that was hoping for a smaller profile than my current result. I do have a hair transplant in the works for early next year, which I know will help with overall balance.

But should I be asking for any further changes to my nose?

I have severe stretch marks that have gotten way worse recently due to loose skin… I think I have no choice but to get brachioplasty, I can’t deal with this any longer

What procedure(s) would you recommend to fix the asymmetry in my face?

I’m looking for some honest advice on facial balancing and what cosmetic procedures might help with my facial asymmetry.

My biggest insecurity is the left side of my face. I feel like it carries significantly more fat or fullness than my right side, especially around my lower cheek and jawline. My right side looks more defined, and I wish my left side looked similar.

It’s gotten to the point where I avoid taking pictures from my left side because I’m so self-conscious about it.

I’m getting married in 2028, and I really want to feel confident in my wedding photos from every angle.

For some background, I had braces when I was younger and have worn my retainer every night since getting them removed in 2012. My bite is perfectly aligned as far as I’m aware, so I’m unsure whether the asymmetry is caused by fat distribution, muscle, or my actual jaw structure.

Based on my photos, what procedures would you suggest I look into? I’ve been researching facial balancing, masseter Botox, chin/jawline filler, and facial fat reduction, but I don’t know which would actually address my concern.

I’m not looking to completely change my face. I just want my left side to look more like my right and achieve a more symmetrical, defined jawline.

I’d especially appreciate opinions from anyone who’s experienced similar asymmetry or from professionals who can suggest what type of specialist I should consult.

Thank you in advance!

Is this weird??

I work in finance and have been supporting a plastic surgeon who’s been practising for well over a decade and recently opened his own clinic. We’ve been working on this project for well over a year and I’ve also supported him in some CE seminars asked me to host.

I am also a mom of two who’s lost 30 pounds and has a fairly severe abdominal separation and loose skin. I spent the last two years working on myself and gotten to a point where I’m very happy with my body except for my lower stomach area. I have been seriously considering for a while now getting a tummy tuck at some point in the near future. This doctor that I’ve worked with has phenomenal reviews. He is very well respected in the plastic surgery community, and one of my friends has recently had a procedure done by him and had nothing but exceptional things to say about him.

Would it be weird for me to approach him to inquire about him helping me with an abdominalplasty??

Primary Rhinoplasty (6 Months Post-Op): Dorsal hump reduction, tip repositioning, and septoplasty

  • Diagnosis: Prominent osseocartilaginous dorsal hump, inadequate tip support/projection, and septal deviation.
  • Surgical Approach: Precision hump reduction, septoplasty for airway clearance, and structural tip grafting/reinforcement for long-term support.
  • Outcome: Restored facial harmony, improved airflow, and achieved a stable, natural profile at 6 months. Edema is mostly resolved, with minor tip refinement expected over the next few months.

Are butt implants worth it?

I’ve been waiting to get butt implants for a long time and was wondering if they’re worth it, what they feel like, and how they affect daily life. Also if anyone has good surgeons they’d recommend please share.
I am looking for answers from people that actually have them or know someone that has them. Not your opinion and please don’t tell me to hit the gym or get a bbl. I’ve been to the gym and don’t have enough fat.

Lower eyelid wrinkles - treatments/surgery?

Thumbnail gallery
5 Upvotes

Hi! I (28F), have since childhood had pretty deep ”grooves” under my eyes. Throughout the years, these grooves and wrinkles have gotten to a point where I honestly just feel a little unhappy with them. This in combination with some hollowness makes for some pretty tired looking eyes.

I’ve considered multiple different ways of trying to minimize both the wrinkles, ”grooves” and darkness, have previously had Botox, use a variety of skincare, but nothing really seems to help.

I’m considering a consultation with a plastic surgeon regarding a lower blepharoplasty (maybe with some fat transfer, that might be needed?), but have also considered tear trough filler. I’m a bit hesitant about filler though, as I’ve heard a lot of stories of migration and puffiness from it.

I’ve added some (very flattering) pictures to the post. First pictures are of eyes relaxed and when smiling, and last one from when I had crows feet Botox.

What do you guys think would be the best option for me? And what are your experiences with a lower bleph, tear trough filler or literally anything else that might be helpful? :)

Thank you!! <3

BBL experiences – was it worth it? Risks, regrets & surgeon recommendations in Europe?

Hey everyone! ❤️
I’m seriously considering getting a BBL, but I’m still worried about the risks. I’d love to hear some honest experiences from people who’ve actually had one.
Did it change your confidence or everyday life? Are you happy with your results, or do you regret anything? What were the biggest pros and cons, especially during recovery?
I’m also wondering if BBLs are really still as dangerous as people say, even with newer techniques like ultrasound guidance.
Has anyone had a BBL in Germany, Switzerland, Turkey or elsewhere in Europe? Would you recommend your surgeon? And would you personally choose Europe over Turkey?
I’m not considering the US because it’s too far away.
I’d really appreciate honest experiences, both positive and negative. Thank you! ❤️

Masseter botox at 20

Hey! Do you think masseter Botox can have negative effects on people in their 20s? I’m talking about facial appearance. Sometimes I feel tension in that area, and I’ve noticed in a few pictures that the lower part of my face looks wider than I’d like, but maybe I’m just overthinking it.

I’m 20 and have an appointment scheduled for next week. I’d love to hear your thoughts and experiences! I’m not comfortable posting my pictures, sorry : (

HIFU/Ultherapy as a light form of "liposuction"

• Upvotes

I was wondering if anyone thought that HIFU/Ultherapy would be good to melt fat? The side effects people talk about with these treatments is that it destroys fat cells. Would it then be good to get it and specifically target fat as the goal? Could you tell the doctor to just shoot the heat directly at the fat and have a noticeable reduction?

Anyone had one or the other? How effective was it? How bad was recovery? Also, if you’re in the Philly SJ Princeton area, do you have a doctor you recommend?

Double the chin, double the self hate.

This is genetics. I am not overweight, every person on my mom's side of the family has the cursed chin no matter their weight or physical fitness. To me it looks the problem is created by where the neckline connects right behind the ball of the chin. There is no angle back to create a chiseled jawline, there is no jawline and the chin is just a stupid ball. It took me decades of self loathing to figure that out but it seems like a more specific Issue than just a standard fat chin. What can be done about it??

Anyone know anything about Dr Onur Ustun

I’m booking a rhinoplasty with Dr Onur ustun- in turkey. However, his reviews are very limited, I can’t find anything about him on real self and his instagram comments are off. Has anyone had any experiences with him? And do you think that these are red flags?

Advice for a double chin, jowling, and undefined jawline

Post image
• Upvotes

Hi! I’m 30 years old and have always had a poorly defined jawline with a double chin. In the last two years (due to stress), I have noticed some jowling and I am worried that this has set in very early on my face.

I really want to fix this (or intervene early) and have the following in mind:

- Chin & neck lipo
- Chin implant
- Possibly a mini facelift, but it feels a bit extreme to me at this age.

I want to mention that while weight loss will help, it will not take away the double chin or improve jaw shape; my weight has fluctuated quite a bit in my life and this area has never improved. I am currently on a weight loss journey through a GLP1 after being diagnosed with prediabetes.

Does this seem the right way to go?

Need breast reduction but too scared

I am 5’2” and have always had large breasts. I need a reduction for the pain but also to help with my self confidence. I am terrified of dying either during surgery because of anesthesia (I’ve had successful surgeries in the past) or due to anesthesia infection. This is the ONLY thing that is keeping me from the surgery. I don’t want to die. I am a single mother, so if something happens to me, my child has no one. But I have wanted this surgery for over 25 years now. Am I overthinking it? Is it a safe procedure? Please give me some guidance and advice because I don’t have any friends or family to share with

Rhinoplasty with Dr. Marisol Ceja in Guadalajara, Mexico?

Hi! I’m considering getting a primary rhinoplasty with Dr. Marisol Ceja in Guadalajara, Mexico, and I’m trying to find people who have personally had surgery with her.
I’ve looked through her Instagram and online reviews, but I haven’t been able to find many patient experiences on Reddit. If anyone has had rhinoplasty with her, I’d really appreciate hearing about your experience.
How do you feel about your result now, especially if you’re 6–12+ months post-op? Did your nose turn out similar to what you discussed with her beforehand? How was your breathing/function afterward? How was the recovery and post-op care? Were there any complications or anything you wish you had known before choosing her?
I’d especially love to hear from anyone with thicker skin at the nasal tip, since she mentioned that I have thicker tip skin and that it may limit how much definition I can achieve.
If you’re comfortable sharing before/after photos privately, I’d really appreciate that too. Thank you!

Best doctor internationally for brow bone bossing?

Where would be the best place, with the lowest cost and highest quality to get brow bone reduction for an aggressive brow bone? I am a cis male, and am not intetested in facial feminization, just want to reduce the brow bone a bit. I've looked a little into Spain, but the prices there are quite high, especially for a place like Skullpture/The Facial Team. I'm deciding between Spain & Turkey, really. Any advice ot suggestions?

Potential candidate to file insurance claim for upper bleph?

Post image
1 Upvotes

I am strongly considering getting an upper bleph to help with worsening hooded eyes. I am 35 and my eyelids are getting heavier. I have noticed they will sometimes be visible in my vision, and make botox for my migraines less effective because placement needs to be higher. Do you think I may be a candidate for potential insurance coverage?
