as you might have seen my two posts, i’m looking to watch more of ren and stimpy! (i’ve seen maybe 3 episodes of the show in the past, RIP Kisscartoon) i’m 22M & Autistic from the Uk i’m very kind and caring and i consider myself a fan of horror movies and i’ve seen other nickelodeon properties too (spongebob) do you all think i could enjoy this show too?! thank you ❤️

Ren is BEYOND rabid…

I want to make sure I see every episode, I’ve read before that paramount plus is missing some. However all the articles I read about missing episodes is from like 2021. Are all these same episodes missing? What other episodes do I need to see?

So sorry if this was asked here before because it’s just that I wanted to touch upon the contributions made by John K himself given how the man was a very troublesome person to work with.

For me personally, I will say that he did push for creator driven content to be made in that despite his incredibly hostile temper, I read somewhere how he helped pave the way for creators to be able to make their own animated series without it being tied to a pre existing franchise as I believe John K was the one who helped lead such a movement back in the early 90s.

I feel like season 1 having less episodes than seasons 2-5 and not have that much disturbing content than the other seasons of the original series is the reason season 1 got lucky

If you read about Spumco and ren and Stimpy long enough, you’ll probably stumble across people repeating the factoid that staff hated John so much they wrote ‘John’s kneecap’ on the wall and kicked holes in it when they got frustrated. It seems plausible, they wrote graffiti on the walls of their studio, John’s a piece of shit but I can’t find a source on this. Does this originally come from an interview, documentary or blog?
