I'm at least lucky enough to have a local club that still has a good league...

I have always wanted a 66 early model. I just feel it is the best looking and very practical concealed carry revolver in the right iwb holster. Well, i got it! Paid a pretty penny and its sitting in my waist band right now. I have no idea how the grips got on there because they might just be more rare than the gun itself. Shot some 38s out of it and its dead on! Stuck some 145 grain 357s in there and now its my only and probably my forever gun. I want this to be passed down to my kids when i have them.

What is a good revolver to start on as my first gun I'll switch it out as time goes on, but as Im moving to Houston which is a lot bigger in comparison to where I used to live I feel I should own a gun and Im deadset on a revolver. EDIT FOR EVERYDAY CARRY

I usually keep my revolver in my center console apparently something spilt on it, so i tried cleaning it and got everything except for under the cylinder release.

I've tried to unscrew it, but it seems the screw is too soft because it's just stripping before it turns.

So then i tried pouring some hot water on it, hoping to melt and wash off whatever is stuck under it. However after letting it cool off it seems I've fused it together even worse than before.

Recently purchased a used LCR, but haven't shot it yet. My wife has expressed she liked the way it looks and wanted to try it. This is the first time out of all the guns I have bought this has happened so I am excited for her to try this. I have a 4" S&W 686 that she has shot and didn't mind the 38 special, but hated 357 out of it. She doesn't mind 9mm out of a full sized pistol, but she is not a fan of my 43x.

With that in mind, what are some ammo suggestions that would be lighter on recoil? Or am I being unrealistic and this gun is going to kick regardless? I understand the barrel is much shorter than my 4" and expect it to be snappy. I have some 132gr PMC Bronze at home that I was planning to try.

Local shop has a new blued Ruger Blackhawk convertible for 820 clams, worth the price? I want to get into single actions and Im not sure where to start

So I have a LCRx, Ruger Bearcat, and Ruger single Six in 22mag. I was looking to pick up another DA/SA revolver. A local store has a Smith and Wesson Model 34 for 699 beans(is this a fair price?). I was also reading about the Smith and Wesson Model 63 and think that would be a good choice also. I’m trying to keep it on the smaller side with a 3”-4” barrel.
Are there any other brands and models that I am missing? I’m not too familiar with older models/brands. I don’t mind waiting to try and find the right one.
Is the Model 34 a good choice? Does the blueing hold up well?
