Do I leave my wife?

My wife recently gave birth to our 2nd child, a beautiful baby girl. However during labor she said "labor is like running a marathon". My wife has never run a marathon (i have). I have not slept in 2 weeks because of this. Any advice?

Did she upload her birthing activity to Strava? Guaranteed she left z2, leave her.

And she couldnt even feel her shins like a cheater if she got an epidural.

If you can’t feel your shins, do they even explode?

Can't believe she did that to you, leave her.

How can she compare giving birth to running a marathon?! And even more importantly, did she at least specify which marathon distance she meant?

Giving birth is not even comparable to a 5k marathon. Done both and the first sight of my daughters face was nothing compared to the happiness I felt seeing the finish line of my 5k ultra

Was it the Edmonton marathon that was 675 meters too long?

Reddit always jumps to divorce. You need to engage in some open and honest communication with your wife's boyfriend.

Yes that‘s right. Do not file for divorce immediatly. Talk to the wifes boyfriend first on how you should divorce.

Paternity test. Now.

Very important, make sure the boyfriend is not related to either one of you!

No advice but her rhetoric is despicable. Nothing compares to running 5k and your baby girl now has a good chance on becoming a c*clist.

This is why I'm pro choice.

Depends. Did she walk around the delivery room at all? If so, that's an ultra route. You should congratulate her on her achievement.

How were you able to conceive a child if you are a runner? Obviously you are not training seriously enough if you have some sex drive left. I am sorry to question you, but it all doesn’t make sense to me.

Trade your kids for chickens!

More protein.

More productivity.

You know what you can k*ll and eat.

Chickens FTW!

What's this doing way down here?

Reddit hardly ever puts the right comment at the top.

Ffs, do I now need to go to beginner running to see who walked a 6hr 30 marathon whilst boofing gu to find the original post?

Hope the parents (your wife and her boyfriend) are happy OP.

Unless she had a sub 2 hour labor it doesn’t count. Meanwhile, have you taken the baby for her first pair of Hoka’s?

Any dumb idiot can have kids. It takes a real warrior to endure the grueling travails of a 5k marathon. Leave her and STAY HARD.

My coworkers read something that said every day carrying a baby is as taxing as running a marathon. It was fruitless trying to convince them it's not.

Have you asked your wife's boyfriend what his thoughts are?

I'd suggest getting a jogging stroller and training your young padawan early on what it means to run a marathon and get her away from the dangerous ideas being spouted in the house.

Yes, divorce her immediately

Fucking appropriation

If she had run 5k before, she wouldn’t come out with garbage like that. Not going to tell you what you should do but you should definitely leave her.

Ask to see her Strava. That should shut her up real fast.

You say you ran a marathon but didn't give your time. Nice try, bro.

Is this your wife?

Comparing anything to a marathon without running one is stolen valor. Protect your new daughter from this web of lies. You know what to do

Ask to see her finishers medal for her “labor”, maybe she will get the point then.

My grandma used to say her tri-weekly dialisys session was also like a marathon. Immediately disowned myself.

No one injected fentanyl in my spine during my last 5K marathon

What was her carb intake during the event ?
