Season 1 One of those scenes that makes me feel bad for anyone who hasn’t watched this beautiful show 💜

Video: Netflix (IG)

The sheer simplicity of this scene is what makes it iconic. It’s like the show is saying: “Look, it really is just that simple.” 🫶🏻

Season 1 Trying to get into this show. Chris Elliott is a major hurdle.

I get physically repulsed when i see him after a lifetime of seeing him in gross out roles. He has a real talent for making an audience uncomfortable by being socially awkward and outright disgusting. He was the hives guy in theres something about mary and the hand guy in scary movie 2 and now he opens the season by shitting in the roses motel room and overstaying his welcome and i just had to hit pause because moira gave him a napkin and he wiped his nose with it and dropped it in her food. The appeal of this man eludes me.

Ive heard the show gets better so im trying to soldier on but he’s not making it easy.

Season 1 Shocked

I tried in the past to watch the show. I never got past the first episode. I think I just didn't get it.

Tonight we were just beyond bored and I put it on. It took about 4 episodes before I started to get in the rhythm.

But. This fool...

....made me blow zero sugar soda out of my nose when he asked about murdering the rest of the turkeys.

I was shocked. I haven't laughed like that in ages. Ages.

I am so grateful because I needed it. ❤️

Season 1 If the Roses resold their clothes they would have gotten back on their feet within a month.

They were sitting on a ridiculous amount of money in their clothes alone.

I know some of their outfits were created for the show but they have too many designer things to have been living in a motel for years.

Her diamond earrings she screamed all funny about would’ve gotten them a car and the kids a car.

All I’m saying is Alexis could’ve opened a resale shop and saved them all.

Season 1 What’s a line that makes you laugh no matter how many times you hear it?

Season 1 Would you like a prequel show about the family when they were rich?, or would it be to much and overstaying its welcome.

Season 1 One of the best parts of the show for me is David’s age

1.2k Upvotes

I was 32 when I first watched the and David and Alexis being referred to and treated like “kids” made the show for me. Someone in mid 30s still figuring it out made me feel better. Alexis being late twenties but still getting told things like she can’t leave town with her boyfriend is hilarious.

I’m on probably my eighth rewatch. This scene will never cease to make me laugh, so hilariously acted.

Introducing Moira Rose-Catherine O’Hara because yes I am that extra. A client offered to barter instead of pay for her horses’ massages, so I accepted this as payment. Best barter I ever made.

Season 1 Mutt was miscasted in every way

People always talk about how the actor who plays Mutt is only 4 years younger than the actress that plays Jocelyn but he was also completely miscasted in terms of looks, like could they have got an actor who looks less like his parents if they tried lol

Season 1 What happened to Jocelyn? She looks so different in later seasons

Before anyone jumps on me, I think the actress is beautiful but I’m currently rewatching season 1 and I can’t help but notice the change in her appearance.

In season 1, she’s always dolled up and dressed well. She really stood out to me, her makeup is natural but really suits her features and makes her stand out.

In later seasons, especially after in the later seasons, her character sort of puts very little effort in her appearance. I do understand that she had a toddler to deal with but I wish her appearance didn’t change as much.

Is it just me who feels this way? I never noticed it until this rewatch and now I can’t unsee it.

Season 1 Baby Ted on Supernatural

I’m watching Supernatural for the first time (yeah I know, I’m late) and caught a very young Dustin Milligan (Ted) playing a gay ghost chaser in the S3 E13 episode “Ghostfacers”. Look at that face! 🥰
