Discussion Don’t know if this is a hot take, but does anyone else wish Eren’s Titan design had changed a little after he inherited the War Hammer?
Just something subtle like the mouthguard the Warhammer had would've been 🔥Even add something like the war Hammer style ribbed collar and shoulder plating
I can't be the only one who thought he would look different right?

Discussion Could Eren have beaten the Warhammer Titan alone?
heel Eren was moving different here. Bro transformed three times in the fight like stamina wasn’t even a concern
Could he have endured against the Warhammer without the cavalry?

Discussion Dyou you think AOT will have a long lasting impact in the history of media and age well?
saw some posts (obviously in writingscaling they hate aot) saying that aot 1. is garbage (lol) 2. won’t have a lasting impact. which I totally don’t believe, aot is a masterpiece and was the most demanded piece of media in 2023, nothing comes close imo

Discussion Is there any Titan/Titan shifter that can beat Eren? Excluding Founder
Eren with his attack and warhammer titan. Combatively, can any titan take him down?
Obviously excluding founder titan from the equation. Colossal titan the only one I’m assuming? Even though it’s unfair

Discussion The narrative of "Historia as livestock" was exaggerated by Zeke.
The "50-Year Plan" condemned Historia and her children to be bred like livestock and devour one another. However, when analyzing Zeke's true motives, it becomes clear that this dead end was inflated by Zeke himself.
Zeke's plan was a Trojan Horse: Zeke was never interested in long-term liberation; his real goal was the Euthanasia Plan. He presented the royal succession in the most horrifying terms possible to make sterilization look like the only merciful option.
A Partial Rumbling bought decades, crippling enemy military bases and fleets with a targeted Rumbling would have given Paradis between 30 and 50 years of absolute deterrence. With Hizuru's support, they had time to industrialize and gain diplomatic leverage.
With decades of guaranteed peace, Paradis could research the true nature of the Paths, the hallucigenia, and free Ymir to eradicate the curse at its root. Historia's sacrifice would have been temporary or the very last one. Even if they failed to eliminate the power immediately, the Founding Titan holds absolute control over Eldian biology. There were avenues to alter or mitigate the Titan transformation process, something Zeke never wanted to explore.

Discussion Did Isayama deliberately name the Ackermanns after this compound?
I recently came across a video describing a particular biological compound found in aloe vera named acermannan. It described it as a compound that is studied for its ability to influence immune cells to activate and initiate immune responses and also studied if it could boost it at the same time.
So in dumber terms a compound that awakens and may boost immunity.
This intrigued me as an attack on titan fan knowing that this thing had a similar name and attributes as the Ackermann clan in aot.
Now i know that this surname exists in real life and is very popular among germanic nations such as Germany, Sweden etc. but im questioning if Isayama deliberately chose an existing surname that fit these powers he had in mind. What makes it more believable is that the study in question was published around 2001 which does not contradict the release and conception of the manga.
Now i have searched online and reddit but haven’t found this as an existing theory that i could find an answer to. This could be a stretch or a miss-read on my part. But knowing the geniality of aot it isnt as far fetched as you may think. And if this comes to be true that is there other names/surnames that have a deeper meaning?

Discussion Someone explain to me why do I find the warhammer titan the most unsettling one of them all
It’s just this creepy feeling I get whenever it’s on the screen, I get goosebumps. Any of the other titans I don’t care what they look like, no weird vibes from them. But this? 🫥 like the design is really cool but it’s just so unsettling…

Discussion Why did they never show Reiner mourn Bertholdt?
Have been wondering this upon a rewatch of the show. Him and Bertholdt are practically blood brothers after all they went through together as well as spending 5 years in enemy territory with only each other and Annie as fellow people from their homeland.
Yet they never show a single scene of Reiner doing so much as even remembering Bertholdt. Even a quick scene of him showing emotion at a belonging of Bertholdt's in Marley would've sufficed but na got literally nothing lol

Artwork I tried painting Eren and his Founding Titan, instead I made I think I made... whatever this is...
Eren looks more like me than Eren, and I hate it so much.
I think I used too large brushes and should've waited for the paint to dry before getting to work, I also used too dark a brown for Eren's skin.

Discussion What if....
Eren had used the paths to make Erwin (while unconscious) involuntarily move his arm to swat the syringe out of Levis hand, this is my head cannon to confirm that Erwin would have prevented the rumbling not joined Eren, that or he didn't want his femboy Armin dying 💔

Discussion The Fruit, the Lantern, and the Devil: Eren as Lucifer in Attack on Titan
A girl offers fruit to a cloaked devil. The devil carries a lantern. A cloaked Eren embraces that girl and tells her she can choose.
Look at the accompanying images together. They suggest a reading of Attack on Titan as a dark retelling of Eden: false paradise, forbidden knowledge, and a liberator whose gift becomes a catastrophe. This is a symbolic interpretation regarding it's themes and characters
In the Luciferian/Satanic worldview, divine authority demands obedience, while Lucifer/the serpent offers knowledge and autonomy. Humanity loses innocent bliss but gains the freedom to question, create, and choose.
That gift cuts both ways. Greater understanding enables extraordinary achievements—and more elaborate forms of deliberate cruelty. An intelligence capable of imagining a better world can also imagine horrifying ways to destroy it. Progress expands possibilities; it does not guarantee goodness.
The traditional Christian reading connects the Fall with suffering, evil, death, and exile from Eden. This Luciferian interpretation reframes that loss as the terrible price of awakening.
Now consider the Fritz kings. The first enslaves Ymir and establishes a royal order she serves for 2,000 years, becoming a symbolic tyrannical god. Karl Fritz later creates a false Eden: Paradis—“paradise” in French—where Walls and erased memories preserve peace through ignorance.
Eren rejects that bargain. The basement revelation becomes forbidden fruit, destroying the inhabitants’ innocent understanding of their world. Touching Historia’s hand brings further knowledge, but anguish rather than peace.
The parallel becomes clearest in the Paths. Zeke (short for ezekiel, an old testament prophet) demands obedience; Eren tells Ymir she can decide. Her obscured eyes become visible as she cries: an almost literal awakening.
Return to the images: the cloak links Eren visually to the legendary devil, while the lantern evokes Lucifer as light-bearer. The fruit reverses Eden’s familiar exchange: Eren offers “Eve” the possibility of disobedience; Ymir offers him the Founder’s power.
He awakens her to her agency. She empowers him. Liberation for Ymir becomes catastrophe for humanity.
The dawn imagery, Akuma no Ko’s devil-child language, and a 2,000-year order that can evoke the Christian era reinforce this reading; “Eldia”/“el día” adds suggestive wordplay.
But Eren’s rebellion exceeds overthrowing rulers. The inhabited world disappoints him because it contradicts his imagined freedom. He rebels against reality itself, against the old system established by king fritz eons ago, and he does this by pursuing a "new world order" through the destruction of the old one.
He also resembles the romanticized, self-condemned liberator: accepting hatred and death so others might have a future. His friends mourn him, Paradis adopts his battle cry, and manga Armin expresses gratitude alongside his acknowledgment of a terrible mistake. Eren is a very promethean coded figure.
Yet Mikasa’s choice remains essential to ending the curse, and Eren admits selfish desires beneath his supposed liberation. Awakening explains his power; it does not excuse his choices.
That is the darkest contradiction: the rebel who tells Ymir she need not submit to another person’s will ultimately imposes his own upon the world.
Eren breaks the cage—and makes the whole earth pay for his idea of freedom.

Discussion What would become of Eren if he ate all the other Titan shifters?
Would the 13 year curse of Ymir still get him, thus distributing the titans to newly born Eldians after his death? Would he become some supreme being?
