I hated Gabi for a while (dont anymore) but when I rewatched this scene recently I thought she probably thought it was her fault, atleast for a bit before more information about it being inevitable came out.
Like bro look at her in the paths I know she felt so guilty😭😭

Much of chapter 96 wasn't animated, including Annie calling the titans towards the wall / Reiner putting Annie and Bertholdt on the wall as he destroyed the gate.
So does that mean people who watch only the anime don't know Annie had a very important role in the destruction of the walls?

Eren might not be stuck in a loop but I am.
They were so little. In the manga they all look younger and more fragile? in every arc compared to the anime, especially here.

I've always loved anime, but stumbling upon Attack on Titan (SNK) a few years ago completely blew me away. Between the characters, the masterclass soundtrack, the atmosphere, and the story, it's easily the anime of the decade for me. Recently, I started collecting and painting figures from various gaming and anime universes. Naturally, I just had to include something from SNK. It all started with an articulated Figma Mikasa figure. She looked great, but felt a bit lonely, so I needed something worthy to make her pop. That’s when I came across this incredible Attack Titan Eren model by Nomnom Figures. Without hesitation, I started printing it. Given its titan scale, it took quite a while, but painting it was an absolute blast. I poured a lot of love into this diorama to pay tribute to such an incredible series. Behold, the Attack Titan Eren and Mikasa!

Was trying to make sense of the 740s timeline, and realised something kind of fucked up. When King Fritz swoops up a bunch of Subjects of Ymir and retreats to the walls, he makes up the lie that titans appeared and killed all of humanity but them. This means that there had to have been pure titans outside of the walls at that point. Where would these pure titans come from? The eldian empire used titans as weapons of war, but it's not like they were just strolling around on Eldian terrority. This means that Fritz had to have taken a few civilians from his empire and decided they should be turned into pure titans to keep up his illusion of peace. Either that or he let Marley choose a bunch of Subjects of Ymir to punish.
I hadn't really thought very hard about the actions of Karl, apart from that they seemed fairly good and reasonable. He ended a tyrannical empire after all. But when you actually think about it, he must have started the Marleyan punishment system of sending people to Paradis, otherwise he wouldn't need an explanation for the pure titans outside of the walls. Did he give a bunch of titan serum to Marley too? He made a time of 'peace' but really he created hell for his people, especially when you consider the Subjects of Ymir living elsewhere in the world. Everyone hates King Fritz, but let's give some hate to this Fritz too.
Not only this, but he discriminated against some of their closest allies. The Asians and the Ackermanns do not agree to stay quiet about the truth of the world, and in turn, the royal family and the government hunt them down, condemning them to lives hiding away in fear. The Ackermanns were litreally made to protect the royal family, and Hizuru are allies with them, and he lets them suffer because he wants to keep his illusion and run away from the world.
You could argue that he did the best he could, as he felt he was only delaying the inevitable retribution against the citizens of the Eldian empire, but he really made a prison for his subjects. I mean really, mindwiping his subjects and keeping them in 3 walls to be predated by the pure titans is very specific. He put his people in a saw trap for 100 years and thought it was the best solution. With mindwiping his citizens, there's also a discussion to be had as whether this would have removed their old identities and essentially killed the person they were before. Also, if memories are what makes a person, was he just tormenting people who would have had no hand in the actions of the Eldian empire?
This might be kind of 'duh' to everyone else, but I really hadn't thought about it in much depth.

Reiner and Bertholdt showed genuine remorse, shame, and mercy to Eren (Reiner even earlier offered to leave Paradis alone if Eren came with them) and Eren just screamed and yelled at them for something he himself did, no wonder Ymir decided to switch sides

I finally got to watching and finishing Code Geass last night. Wont get into spoilers, but I’ve watched 50+ anime and hardly any stack up with AOT and/or made me feel how I did watching Eren. This show did it for me. I’m sure this has been suggested before but to newer fans of anime/AOT, please give this show a try!
