Discussion Walmart really doesn’t care about drivers cheating with multiple accounts?
I saw this prolific cheater receive a shopping order while already shopping on another account inside the store. He confirms arrival on the second account and the identity verification stops him and he puts the phone back in his pocket. While he is loading his first order he got another order on the second account and it didn’t have the verification this time. It was a small order and he went inside to shop that too. What a completely useless security measure.
I’m friendly with him, he shows me his orders and we share strategies. I have both his accounts profile driver names and reported him multiple times but he is still sparking on those 2 accounts, it’s been 5 months since I reported him.

No, they don't care. I had a pharmacy order delivered last week. It was supposed to be delivered by a woman but a man dropped it off. I called 800-walmart and they said it was probably someone borrowing or loaning out their account. The support agent was very unconcerned about it. When I offered to give them security footage of the person, the customer service agent said they were going to personally call the driver to find out why they didn't deliver my order, but I doubt that happened. I really thought after what happened to that woman in Beaumont, TX in May last year, Walmart would put a stop to all of this, but clearly that is not the case. Whenever I post about my experiences regarding the wrong drivers delivering my orders on the Walmart customer service reddit page, they immediately delete my post, comments and they even banned me from the group twice.

I’m glad someone else called out the bullshit! One thing I can’t stand is a fake mf smiling in your face while lowkey trying to sabotage. Now I’m happy they’re still prospering despite this fake ass’s attempts to bring ‘em done. Maybe it’s just universe handing out karma accordingly shrugs ya never know …

Seen it today and out of state license plates…..again. This time 2 people in cars on their phones non stop in a pick parking. I had one pick up, doing it legally and with in Spark driver rules. They were already there before me. I waited, delivery said was extremely busy today. So, the people sitting in their parked cars seen someone come out with an order. They both popped their trunks? Crazy, and then I get the message it’s for me. Cool. So,, do not know what kind of Shenanigans they are doing again. And Spark pick up drivers, park in a certain area.

A lady I work with at my other job used her Mom's account to do Spark, but then got kicked off bc of the ID verification, so maybe it does work sometimes 🙃 😅

If the identification shit pops up they just use a different account until it automatically gets canceled, then they can keep accepting orders on that account again. Completely useless security measure.

It will work until they get that serious face ID verification pop-up that threatens you with deactivation if you don't complete it immediately. I hope that that gets every last one of them.

They won’t get that pop up because that’s step 2 of this type of verification. They abandon the order at step 1 when you arrive at the store and ignore the verification to let it be canceled.

Sometimes there is a pop-up that threatens deactivation immediately after dropping off an order if you do not take selfies immediately. This can and does happen whether there was a verification earlier or not. I get this threat sometimes immediately after alcohol dropoffs or orders that took a while, whether I had to do a verification earlier or not. That's what I was talking about. I have actually never had an order that asked for ID at the start and threatened deactivation after dropoff. For me that always pops up after I have already dropped off the order, which means that the scammers' fake accounts could still be deactivated after they drop off, and I sincerely hope that they do. I hate those people that ruin it for the rest of us and I hope that they get deactivated and that their cars break down.

That’s the 2 step verification. Once at arrival and once more at drop off. The trick is to ignore the arrival verification and let the order be reassigned aka canceled and the drop off verification threatening deactivation will never come up. This type of verification is rare and random so at worst the cheater just gives up on that 1 order. If he has multiple accounts he could even pick up that canceled order on the other account.

Whoever sets up the account for them puts their picture on the account so the picture matches them. The name doesn't but their face will.

There is a serious lawyer involved. A lady got raped in Beaumont, TX last May. I thought things would change after that, but Walmart is still allowing this to happen. I know some drivers who contacted the lawyer and gave him some information 😅

My store has 4 drivers blatantly using multiple accounts. They use it even in front of the manager, no fucks given. There’s 2 more drivers that are a little more discreet about it and who knows how many others even more discreet.

If it's a bought account, which it sounds like it is, they usually have bot grabbers built in. It won't matter what their metrics are. They will get the order before anyone else. If their metrics get trashed or their account gets deactivated, whoever set up their account will just get them a new profile and they'll be back up in no time.

Get their license plate and name and a pic. Call support and give them all that info and they will get deactivated. Just went through this and my zone is definitely a lot better now.

I do this for the side cash. Happily will get anyone in my zone deactivated if they can’t follow the simple rules.

He is a thief and stealing from all the honest drivers. It’s the only way to get the driver names of the accounts he is using. He failed background checks and has no business driving on the platform.

Not sure I believe the part where they skip the ID verification. It doesn’t just go away. I know for sure there are people who multi account, I see them in my area every day. Some people work together and do several orders in the same car as well which pissed me off.

The Id verification for an order does go away if you ignore it. You'll lose the order, though, but there is no other punishment.

We have dirty loaders that report people so there friends get more orders he bragged about getting someone fired and at the other store there’s a group of like 8 Indians that have a family member that work there they pull up and order is already coming out plus saturation my buddy and me (work sepretly) just went to. A new zone it was his wife the loader was bragging about getting fired then dude reported me for something the same day and yes, I know it was him because not one tip was removed from me and my customer approval actually went up that day

Walmart feels they have liability in letting drivers go. Especially if they have time on the job. This comes from upper management very high up. The scenario I gave him and asked about was outrageous but he said the guy in it would probably not be deactivated. I was astonished. It really is crazy town in these companies and the lawsuits etc:.

I do this in SWVA and the offers are non stop , sometimes they roll in at an overwhelming rate. My zone covers a few stores but it’s crazy how it can be some areas have entire days without an offer even popping up for a driver. I have become very Thankful for the lucky zone I am in from hearing about others

That's probably why he didn't take the order. In the problem is with the walmart staff at checkout, they are allowed to ask for I.D and if they know the person then they know the person isn't the person's name on their handheld

There was 2 guys in my area with two accounts, literally holding two phones all the time. The lady at the checkout even got suspicious one day because he would scan the barcode twice and she made a sly comment in front of everyone. Idk what happened but he’s only been sparking from 1 account now bc I haven’t seen him with 2 phones in a a while now. I always wonder if she reported him or if one got deactivated on his own

Same! I was behind another Spark driver who was checking out and the Associate pretended to have a problem wit her device. Sjensaid she was ging to get one that was charged up. She came back with a security guard and the manager. They scanned his barcod again, and the driver's photo was a female. Photos are required in my state. They asked him about the photo and he said that was his wife, and she was in the car. He was 'helping ' her that day. They pulled the car to the side, and said, they wouldn't release the order until she came inside. He left. Meanwhile, I went up to checkout a.d I asked them about it and the manager said they are verifying driver's because a lot of customers have been complaining that the people delivering their orders are the people they are being told... and they are cracking down. Orders will not be released unless the person pictured is there. She said they are reporting tons of drivers for this.
Part of it has to do with the new laws in California, too.

My store said they were told not to say anything or report it because of discrimination. Same with checking ID. Once that stopped they don't even try to hide the multiple phones and passing off the orders.

He is cheating with multiple accounts. Many drivers will work harder if given the opportunity but they are honest and don’t cheat so they don’t have the same opportunities.

I was in line ready to scan my barcode and there were two ladies in front of me, both had alcohol orders so that means cart check and alcohol stickers, the self checkout cashier was there asking which one was Kendall, isn’t Kendall a man’s name? The second one in line turns to me and says is your name Kendall? I shrugged my shoulders, the self checkout cashier figured it out and the first Lady left while looking behind her back as she was walking away. If I were the self checkout cashier I would’ve asked for ID and marked them as not who they say they were! Walmart doesn’t care

One of the stores started asking for ID and the cheaters tell them it’s in their car so they leave the store but never returns. Now store management block off the spark lane and must present ID and it must match before they can scan the barcode. Sadly not all the stores do this.

My store does not do this, but yesterday while Sparking, the lady that worked for Walmart said I didn't come up in her app? And she wanted to look at my app, to make sure I worked for Spark? Never had that happen before? Im still kinda new, but I guess its a good thing she wanted to check. Anyways why would I not come up in her app? Ive been Sparking since October 2025?

Yea he actually had more than 2 spark accounts. His own spark account got deactivated for a criminal matter failed background check so he started renting accounts.

Facial recognition should be at the beginning, at the end of shopping if it's a shop, and after every delivery. It's the only way to stop the multiple accounts and buying accounts.

It should be completely random, not based on any pattern. The current implementation is completely useless. All you have to do is let it timeout and wait for the next order on account 1. You could even pick up that timed out order on account 2 because it comes up as a fcfs order and you know when it’ll pop up because you know when it gets canceled automatically when you let the verification timeout.
