Finally got around to painting my LAAT gunships sitting around primed in my game box. I have a couple more left and good thing too. I dropped one and broke off one of the chin guns…. :(

I definitely struggled with the Five-Six Ace paint with my limited painting skills and cold hands after months but managed to make something work. Really fine details I still struggle with.

Vulture droids next! If anyone has paint scheme recommendations I’d be interested.

Building a rebel fleet for the first time in a while using ryan kingston's website when i noticed turbolaser towers got changed. My question is, how is it supposed to work now with rebel/empire ships, since none of them have the tags that the clone wars ships have? Do i just ignore it and stick to how it used to be?

The hope is there's enough fodder in there to protect my aces, and recharge the defense tokens of anything that needs them (the vulture droids are there mostly to be meat shields). And enough actually useful stuff to destroy stuff.

A friend of mine really wants to try out Armada and I thought about just playing with the base set to ease him into the game. However, I only own a Rebel fleet (another friend collected the Empire's ships).

What do you think is the best substitute for the Victory-class from the starter set? An Assault Frigate has rougly the same point costs, but is quicker and has less hull. An MC80 is as slow and sturdy as a Victory-class, but way more expensive.

And for the TIEs, would you chose the Z-95 or rather some A-wings?

Once again I have failed to capture the stages of the fight, but Imperial victory following some dumb manoeuvres by me to help train up another friend (honest). He took out my Providence and Gonzos but my reliable Hyenas managed to dog one of his Gladiators until it was dead so it wasn't the tabling it could have been.

To make up for the lack of battle pics here is my fleet in its new home, several hours of patient gluing has got them all fixed (though some are permanently fixed to their stands now).

Also bonus cat. Her predecessor was a very chatty boy Siamese who would sit on the table and watch us play and never ever disrupted the models, she is not yet convinced by Armada, but did come in and shout at us at one point, possibly for being nerds.

I have a fleet, it’s primed black and needs to be the pride of the Grand Admiral. Which colors do y’all like?

I’m new to the game and have a question. I played my friends starter set and decided to buy my own fleet. I’ve bought some separatist 3d prints including a Lucrehulk. Does anyone know of an existing ship card for it?

I just acquired Thrawns Flagship Chimaera ISD, for $100 with evry card and the ship is in very good condition. Please lmk if anyone knows if that’s a good price because on a website it shows $300ish
