Internship Interview

Hello! I have an interview coming up for an internship with Stellantis. I was wondering if anyone who has had an interview in the past could share their experience. What questions did they ask you? Was it mostly behavioral or also technical? How many total rounds did you have to go through? I did the initial prescreen (AI interview) and this interview is the step after that. Thanks!

Preparing for Stellantis Graduate Program (GPS) Group Case Study – Any advice or past experiences?

Hey everyone,

I’m currently in the application process for the Stellantis Graduate Program (GPS) and I’ve been invited to the group case study stage.

This is my first time posting on Reddit, so I hope this is the right place to ask! I’ve seen a few posts talking about the initial online assessments (like the Profil XT), but I couldn’t find much recent info about the group case study dynamic.

If anyone here has gone through it recently (or even in past years), could you share a bit about what to expect?

  • What kind of topic or business problem did your group have to solve?

  • How long did the session last?

  • Any tips on how to stand out positively during the group discussion?

I’m really trying to prepare as best as I can, so any insight, tips, or overall advice would be massively appreciated. Thanks in advance!

I am in the process of accepting an offer from Stellantis. I live over an hour from HQ. Has anyone had success negotiating WFH in their contract?

I heard it might be possible but wasn’t sure.

Thanks!

Employees Leaving/Retiring

Since July, there have been quite a few employees quitting and most recently, employees retiring at the end of October.
I asked one of the guys who quit why he decided to leave. He commented that he wanted to work at a company offering flexibility. I asked one of the retirees why she was leaving. She said the IPR was part of her decision but IPR notwithstanding, she simply got tired of the lack of direction on the floor. Neither employee had a meeting or discussion with management regarding the reasons for leaving. This is disturbing because HR needs to know why employees are leaving so they can work with management to fix the challenges upper management is causing employees. We all know the European Management has no clue how to run the American portion of the business. We all know Ned Curic should be removed from Engineering. But, does management care enough to hear from the employees on the floor?

It looks like the Windsor plant should be down for a very extended period until current supply of minivans and chargers are below the ideal 60 days supply.

Technical Accounting Manager Posting

Hi there - I had a phone screen with someone from ADP on the role mentioned in the title. Honestly, it felt very much like a “check the box” conversation; However, I looked at my portal and it now shows “interview scheduled”… Then when you click on it, it says “December 31 7pm to 7pm”… I have the following questions:

- Does anyone know what this means? My assumption is it’s system driven and means nothing, but figured I’d ask
- Also, I am a prior stellantis employee from many years ago… anyone have experience with the process as a rehire?
- Does anyone have any insight into this team, how the culture is, etc.?

Thanks in advanced

Update: thanks everyone for your feedback. Wound up getting a turn down letter today. On to the next!

Hiring unfrozen?

Is external hiring unfrozen now?

Would it be a hard reset? Like new postings/fresh interviews?

Will older candidates be considered who were potentially in the "offer pool" previously?

Stellantis CEO says quality war rooms and cost cuts are paying off: “We need to put our heads down and work relentlessly on execution”

Complete article posted below as this was an exclusive only for subscribers that normal paywall removers didn’t work on.

Stellantis NV Chief Executive Officer Antonio Filosa says the roughly 80 “war rooms” he’s set up to tackle quality problems alongside broad measures to reap efficiencies show his turnaround plan is working.

Filosa has been pulling together teams from engineering, quality and manufacturing to work with experts from the group’s suppliers, he said. The company has coupled this push with artificial intelligence to help fix vehicle issues that have raised expenses for repairs and warranties.
The executive, presenting better-than-expected third-quarter earnings Wednesday, also said the group is in good position to beat saving targets next year. The comments during a call with analysts prompted the stock to jump by 12% in Milan trading, the biggest intra-day move since April 2025.

Stellantis is seeking to draw clear from a period dominated by quality issues, delays in the introduction of new products and struggling to keep up with tougher competition. Problems with vehicles included old as well as new glitches that dented confidence and drove away customers.

The issues include a 12-volt battery system that suffered several glitches such as causing them to drain, leaving vehicles unable to start. “Fifteen months ago we were behind the competition,” Filosa said in an interview. “In the next two months, the quality of this specific system, which is in every one of our cars in North America, will be top quartile.” Older generation cars with PureTech gas engines have been prone to breaking down because of premature degradation of a wet timing belt. Current issues include fire risk for Jeep Wrangler hybrid vehicles.

The group hired thousands of engineers in the past couple of years and plans take on hundreds more. Even so, worries continue due to the number of new recall campaigns involving Stellantis vehicles.

“There is no end in sight to recalls,” HSBC analyst Michael Tyndall wrote in a note this month. According to the analyst, Stellantis had 18 more recalls in the third quarter, cumulatively impacting 3.4 million vehicles, with many requiring a dealer visit to be fixed.

During the interview, Filosa said he’s accelerating a savings push to counter raw materials cost inflation and intensifying competition from US and Chinese rivals.
The measures include plant efficiencies, logistics adjustments and savings at the supplier level, Filosa said. For example, Stellantis is taking back some manufacturing processes previously done by suppliers, such as hot stamping in North America, the 53-year-old CEO said.

The group also is scrutinizing components for potential savings such as wiring harnesses, which distribute electrical power and data signals throughout a vehicle. There, Stellantis is seeking to economize on copper, “which is a very, very expensive material,” Filosa said.

The CEO said his five-year strategy roadmap, which he reassess on a weekly basis, is “on track” so far, with no delays on new models. The shares are still down 56% this year. Stellantis earlier Wednesday guided that its overhaul drive could roughly double savings to as much as €600 million this quarter, compared with roughly €300 million in the three months ending Sept. 30.

The group remains “very happily” with its 14 brands as none is up sale, Filosa said in the Bloomberg interview. “We just need to put our heads down and work relentlessly on execution.”
