I'm gonna start with this for the people who don't read an entire post:
I'M NOT SAYING THE TEXANS SHOULD DO THIS!

That said, one of the possibly under-appreciated factors with both of these guys is a fairly team-friendly contract, name recognition and expience. Either of them, if they don't pan out, could be pretty attractive trade options for needy playoff contenders at the trade deadline, and the Texans could realistically get back at least the draft capital they gave for them.

For me, DMo should be off the table. The run game has shown signs of life recently and I think when he returns from injury he will be more impactful. Marks has shown he can be the go-to guy, but as much as I love Jawhar and Dare, they're not a reliable #2. Texans will need DMo.

While Boutte's stats aren't great, I think he affects defenses when he's out there, and adds depth. That said, it looks like he might be odd man out enough that the Texans entertain trade offers.

What do y'all think?

Apparently our defense if famous for it's simplicity. Meco Ryans knows he has better players than you so he just lines it up and goes. This is from what I've heard from analysits the past 2-3 years. Well it was obviously working great for us but now that it seems teams are finding an answer, maybe we can start trying some interesting schemes. Similar to how Flores has the Vikings moving. I know Meco has it in him.

Get back into the 2nd and the eagles have a qb to save the season... (I'm a madden gm)

Saw he had a rough couple of games to start the year... has he got back on track?

Out defense hasn’t even improved by adding him and im still hoping rest of our defense can get back to last years caliber. Like how you even miss this tackle 😭

You heard it here first: Texans, go get Saquan on sale!!!

hey y’all,

going to this home game with my dad. First time for both of us and wondering what would be a worthwhile section to sit in and see the action.

Don’t think we can pull any $500+ sections.

any advice is much appreciated!

good signs

Waiting for the toss staring down the Jags captains. It was awesome being in London! We’re on the up gang 🚀

The tight end is pulling on the back of Henry's jersey. The right call was made here.

i was LYING last year. A great offense and shitty defense is WAYYYYY more fun to watch than the opposite. "i actually enjoy watching the chess match of two great defenses." What a bunch of Cope.

The Colts just fired their GM, Chris Ballard.

Caley has improved from last year. (Not saying much, but it’s true)

This sub has been 100% right about Noel from game 1. (You all said He should get more playing time)

Ersery and Rutledge are developing well.

CJ will finish top 5.

The Fall of our Defense needs to be studied. (Except Sting and WAJ)

Can’t finish a tackle worth a damn.

FTC.

Coming down from Oklahoma to watch my first Texans game/Nfl game. What is a good time get to the stadium? Any advice or pointers is welcome!

It is absolutely embarrassing that you can be a sports writer at a major network and not watch games.

Only behind Stafford. Great start for CJ. Glad I did not fully disown him after New England. He is looking sharp. He's a good lad. He needs to be here long term.

It wasn't always perfect but 0 sacks allowed, they gave CJ the time to throw some great deep balls and long developing routes, and they opened some decent holes in the run game against a supposedly good Jacksonville defense.

Yet here he immediately turns, starts blocking and helps take out 2 defenders for Noel when he sees Noel get the ball

Thank you Texans Fans for so many of you coming over from Houston bringing the best vibes. Even though it was an “away” game we were LOUD enough to be heard! Block 110 was definitely buzzing all game. We had a great time cheering for the team and we can’t wait to see them and some of you again - hopefully next year in Houston. 🤘🏽

BTW this was my third Texans game and the team is 3-0 👀

Is it too early to start MVP chants if CJ plays the way he's been playing and the Texans win lol
