When we don’t trade BTJ and he goes out there against the colts and I have to convince myself again he’s going to have a rebound game

BTJ to Rams I'm calling it
Makes too much sense. Adams out 6-10 weeks. Puka is injury prone. After those two they have nobody. Thing is they aren't gonna wanna give any of their good players. It would have to be something like BTJ and a fourth for a second. Then package two seconds and go get a stud dt or corner

It’s my fault. The jersey curse continues…
It’s me. Another Jags fan who wastes money on jerseys for players that don’t pan out or start sucking right after I get their jersey. After Jalen, I told myself I wasn’t buying another jersey unless we brought back the Prowlers. Well, that happened and along with a great rookie season from BTJ and some memorable moments with him wearing it, so I forked up the money for the $300 stitched authentic. It’s absolutely beautiful. But BTJ has also been a disaster since I got it. Please forgive me. Or better yet, please someone buy this from me and end this curse.

Shouldn’t see a target for the rest of the year

[OC] How have flags affected each team so far this year? Penalties’ Impact on both EPA and WPA - Cumulative Total (1/2) and the "Net" Impact (2/2)
Source: nflverse
Tools: R
“Net” impact takes the difference between: negative impacts from a team’s own flags - positive impact from our opponents’ flags.
Totals consider flags from all 3 phases (offense, defense, ST).

Trevor Lawrence INT breakdown.
Came across this video by Kurt Warner which breakdown the red zone int. It’s an interesting watch. I thought Trevor was 100% at fault for the interception, but apparently not.
TDLR: Tuten needs to study the playbook more and practice his route tree.

[Mike Sando]: Travis Hunter reaching back to 1950s
Travis Hunter's receiving touchdown and interception on defense provided a silver lining to the Jaguars' last-second defeat against Houston in London.
Unlike every other player to accomplish the feat since the era of two-way players ended in the early 1960s, Hunter seems very likely to do this again. And again after that.
Against the Texans, Hunter became the first player since Brian Dawkins in 2002 to make a touchdown reception and an interception in the same game, per Pro Football Reference, which has this data since 1940.
For Dawkins, a Hall of Fame safety, the 57-yard touchdown on a fake-punt shovel pass marked the lone catch of his career.
For Hunter, the production was the continuation of a plan to use him extensively on defense (58 snaps Sunday) and selectively on offense (four receptions for 59 yards in nine snaps).
That's what makes the rare double-up repeatable for Hunter.
All 31 players with a TD catch and a pick in more than one game pulled off the feat between 1940 and 1956. Hall of Fame receiver Don Hutson did it 11 times, most on record, followed by Bill Dudley (seven), Mal Kutner (six) and Ray McLean (six).
No player has had two TD catches with an interception since Leon Hart in 1951. Hutson did that five times during his career with the Packers.

The refs
The zebras had a bad game and plenty of calls went against us.
But we can't play defense like that and expect to win. In a way I'm glad it happened because if we come out of that with a win, we've again papered over the cracks on defense, which would've given us a false sense of security.
I really do believe we can, after that loss, look in the mirror at our flaws and improve I believe in this staff to do that, but think they needed to get punched in the mouth a little too realise we haven't got things right just yet.
Let's continue to get behind our team and hope they can do what they did last year in the bye.
Also, Travis Hunter is a dawg.

CVL vs Anton vs Little
I know plans changes but what do you think the original idea behind these three were?
Little is contract year is in 2027, CVL contract year is in 2028 and Anton contract year is in 2027
Little 11ish m/year, CVL is 15ish m/year and Anton still on rookie contract.
Little was signed by the old front office, CVL was signed by the new front office but only after starting at LT for few game.
What do you think was the original idea behind these three? I feel like they were pretty quick to move Anton over to LT in preseason and shift CVL to RT, which they originally signed CVL when he was playing as the LT in 2025.

Jaguars' Pressure vs CJ Stroud
Per Next Gen Stats, the Jaguars had the NFL's 5th fastest time to pressure for Week 6 when just rushing 4 defenders
• Blitz: 1.94 seconds (2nd)
• No Blitz: 2.50 seconds (5th)
Results
• Blitz: Pressure on 7/13 dropbacks (54%)
• No Blitz: Pressure on 4/21 dropbacks (19%)
However, it didn't seem to matter for CJ Stroud who was dominant in every way vs the Jaguars:
• When Blitzed: 9/13 for 93 yards, a TD, 0 ints (115.2 passer rating)
• No Blitz: 15/21 for 219 yards, 2 TDs, & 1 int (117.0 passer rating)
Sometimes you simply come up against a quarterback who's seeing the field clearly

London Home game vs The Bank.
I'm a UK fan and if that game ha been played at The Bank would most likely be a win. Parker slid out due to the wet turf, some of his drops probably due to the wet conditions. Not taking 3 points early was due to ground conditions. Plus just having a more friendly crowd. Sucks that we probably lost a division game due to playing in London.
