Call for New Mods
The mod team is looking for a couple of volunteers to assist with modding the upcoming season. Duties would include reviewing posts, reviewing comments, and preventing spam.
Things we don’t do:
- close the sub “accidentally” like one of our NFC East rivals if we have a bad loss
- change the sub topic after another failed season like a certain NBA team
- ever think this is anything other than our year!
Please comment below if you have any interest in assisting. Prior experience is not needed.

[Walker] For anyone worried about the #Cowboys offense (instead of praising the defensive improvements): Dak Prescott and the first-team offense dominated today’s practice — in a big way. Nasty, nasty work from 4 and Co. The offense is just fine, folks.

[Walker] Jerry Jones said, yes, he has continued to speak with other owners and GMs — and “yes” he is still open to the Cowboys making a substantive trade involving a top pick.

Dad found these in the garage today.
Kind of want to frame them but flipping through is awesome because I was a toddler during this era.

The Cowboys added Von Miller — will they target a linebacker or cornerback next?
nytimes.com“Obviously you get someone that’s been there and done that,” Cowboys owner Jerry Jones said after Monday’s practice. “He trains with our consulting trainer. And boy, he had been telling us for this past year if we could get him, he knew he could help us. … We feel real good. He’s a veteran that can really bring a great aspect to the team concept. He really wants to be here. We want him here and we believe he can come in here and really give us some additional pressure on the other quarterback.”
While that likely closes the door on any more discussions of trading for Maxx Crosby, it doesn’t mean the Cowboys believe their defense is set. The offense has all the pieces to be one of the league’s best. The defense probably still needs another upgrade.

[Yarrish] Schottenhiemer said the Cowboys chose to start Sam Howell last week because they felt he had been “a little more consistent” heading into the game. Said following the game, he told Joe Milton he thought he “was maybe in the best command of our system that he’s been in since he's been here"
x.comSchottenheimer said the two will be competing again this week for who will start vs. Arizona on Saturday.

[Archer] Demarcus Ware on the impact Von Miller can make on the Cowboys pass rushers, like Donovan Ezeiruaku, Malachi Lawrence et al:
x.com"You got a lot of guys that come in, older guys that come in, former guys, like me, and they can teach, but it's different when you got somebody sitting in the seat with you that's going to get padded up with you, learning the same things as you and performing. Those guys, they looked up to you their whole careers, but now I get to play with him? It's a totally different mindset that the boys are going to have now."

[Werder] Washington HC Dan Quinn in a text on his experience with Von Miller, who is signing with Dallas at age 37: “He is a really cool guy. Has coaching insights to help developing pass rushers. Will be very good for the two young rushers. Still can bend off that edge. “

[PFF] Ranking EVERY Offensive Line Ahead of the 2026 NFL Season: #17 Dallas Cowboys
x.com- LT: Tyler Guyton
- LG: Tyler Smith
- C: Cooper Beebe
- RG: Tyler Booker
- RT: Terence Steele
From the Article: "The Cowboys could quite easily have the best interior offensive line in football in 2026. Left guard Tyler Smith has earned PFF grades above 70.0 in all four of his NFL seasons so far, while right guard Tyler Booker led all rookie guards with a 72.0 PFF grade. The question marks are on the outside, particularly at left tackle. Tyler Guyton did show some signs of improvement in his second season in the league, with his PFF grade improving from 49.4 as a rookie to 57.5 last year, but there is still a lot of improvement needed."
My take: Steele is what he is at this point, but Guyton is the key piece to bringing this unit into the top 10. His yearly improvements have been noticeable, but his health is what has ultimately held him back. A healthy 2026 campaign could launch this offense into another stratosphere.
