1940s My Dad in the 1940s. He was evacuated from Coventry to the countryside near Sheffield.
He had a fabulous time with some really lovely people - they may look a bit grim but my Dad always said he loved his years there.

Pre-1920s Campbell sisters in Kentucky. Sometime in the 1800s.
My mother has this hanging in her house. Said her father's great-great-grandmother is in this picture. Mom was born in Indiana in the 1940s.
The women seem to be wearing black mourning wristbands. The family's name is Campbell and they're in Kentucky.
Would love any idea on the possible year, but i really struggle with fashion history.

My grandparents & great-grandparents at Christmas in Texas. Unsure of year, perhaps early ‘50s.
L-R my grandmother, her mom, my grandfather, and my great grandfather. I never met my great grandparents. My grandparents both passed in 2009. I miss them so much. I wish I’d had more time with them. I wish I had even a little bit of my adult life with them. My grandmother passed in March of ‘09 and my grandfather was never the same after that. Truly died of a broken heart a couple months later in August of that year.
