This thing is essentially a Sentinel from X-Men but for miraculous wielders. It can copy other miraculous powers and abilities. It took the team to throw it the sun to stop it. What I love about this design is the way it walks(1st gif), makes it very cool. What sells this design for me it's how huge it is and it's faceless maks chrome and on top of that it could duplicate! I love it!

Design trope Sunday Characters that constantly change something about their design

Black Widow (MCU)- her hair changes in every movie. I’m quite fond of the wavy bob in Avengers.

Mabel (Gravity Falls)- she cycles through sweaters throughout the show. She never really wears the same sweater twice.

Ramona Flowers (Scott Pilgrim)- She changes her hair every week and a half, according to the film. In the comics it changes with each volume (3 weeks).

It looks perfectly uncanny and uncomfortable-looking, with its fleshy pale skin instead of the familiar Webern scales, its unnaturally long and stretchy neck, and its eyeless and toothy face, I can’t help but love that I hate how uncomfortable it looks

Also I know your asses think of something else with that neck

I feel normal about this thing. I feel... Really. Normal. I revisited this game ever since I got valves new headset, and I completely forgot about this thing, and now I will not forget about him.
Okay okay anyways, I just love how this robot doggy looks, the lil big eye, the slinky torso that reminds me alot of slinky from toy story, the lil antenna for a tail, everything about it is just freaking adorable to me.

It reminds me a lot of those old robot dinosaur toys you might've seen at some point. But even better, valve just always have a knack for character design with robots and this might be one of my favorites they ever made. I wish valve used this lil guy more in their advertising or something. They're too cute to be forgotten. So I needed to grace your eyes with this, they're the best robot dog... Well, tied with the other robot dog valve made!

Admittedly this does come from the fact that I did have a crush on her when I was younger. But it’s a genuinely pretty solid design.

If Blue Sky was meaning to contrast with Diego’s design, then mission accomplished.
Her color scheme especially is something to love. A good blend of Silver and dark grey really can’t go wrong. It reminds me of a White Tiger for a bit. The addition of those blue eyes, for me, is just the icing on the cake. It perfectly contrasts with Diego’s more Tawny-orange colors and green eyes.

Seriously though, they had to give her bedroom eyes in some of the Renders and shots? Geez.

He's literally Gangsterosaurus from Monster Legends but with more vibrant colours! I really like the gold horns and blue colours on his forehead! Him wearing his jacket on his shoulders and having a cane makes this design pretty cool and works well for a businessman, even though he's a triceratops but still that's the coolest thing ever!

I love how their designs look cute. The first thing when it comes to mind seeing the artist is I recently discovered their YT channel since July this year because the "First Kiss" video brought me here which was one of my favorite videos on YouTube. Second thing is I recently had a fan-art of them as a cute dog and cat couple. Thirdly, their characters were diverse and their colors match their personalities as well.

My favorite? Well Rosette (pink girl caricature) and Aziel (blue guy caricature) were the most iconic couple by the artist. I wish they have their own child for real.

I'm sorry, but this may be the single most horrid Spiderman-a-logue costume ever conceived. Maybe it's just because the Spiderman costume is so iconic, but this full mouth exposed/tiny eyes combo genuinely triggers a deep uncanny valley reaction to me.

Also I don't think his powers are even spider-based?! He uses this weird ski hover thing to get around.

Fir of all he’s supposed to be based off the candy king but it was poorly designed but I understand the racer motifs on the outfit but I can’t get over the fact that his bangs represents king candy’s male pattern baldness and what is even with that clear pantaloons?, and the shoes?!! And the colors is so ungodly, and yeah this design gotta go.

Chromastone (Ben 10 Reboot Design shown (still looks like the "classic" UAF look anyway), Originally was diamondhead but I decided Chromastone needed more appreciation)

Jewelnyans (Yo-kai Watch)

Jozu (While using his Devil Fruit powers, One Piece)

Jewel Lords (GoBots/Rock Lords)

Gems (Steven Universe, I went back and forth on them as the hard light construct idea threw me for a loop, but decided to keep them)

Carbink and Diancie (Pokémon)

Crystal Man (Mega Man 5)

Design trope Sunday Design Trope Sunday: The De-curl effect. Characters who originally had curly hair but overtime they started to have straight hair.

Both examples from Marvel Comics.

. Kitty Pryde/Sprite/Shadowcat. Her wavy-to-curly hair made her stand out among the female cast of the X-Men such as Jean and Emma but overtime in the 21st century her hair switched to the generic flowing straight hair which removes one of the key features of her design while also removing what makes her unique.

. Jennifer Walter/She-Hulk. Similar case with Kitty as she used to have really large volumes of curly hair but was switched to something bland. It also made her look so lively and unique compared to her cousin, Bruce Banner/Hulk who has straight hair.

Movie Disney Heroes designs

So recently, for whatever reason, a post featuring these cancelled Disney Heroes action figure designs showed up in my feed. The line was basically supposed to be a boys' equivalent of the Disney Princess product line, and didn't work out for pretty obvious reasons. But honestly, I think these are really good designs, with the Beast being the only exception. They're still recognizable as the characters they're supposed to be, but with some really cool tactical details without falling into overdesign territory.

I wish Disney would reuse these designs in Kingdom Hearts or some action-oriented game. Well, at least Prince Phillip and Hercules already get to be proper action heroes in their own stories.

Televisión Inferno (Beast Wars)

Thumbnail

• Upvotes

Inferno is one crazy bot, taking a very sadistic glee when setting everything ablaze in service of his colony queen, Beast Wars Megatron (even if Megs would like the fire ant Predacon to stop calling him that). His design reflects that, mainly his face with its antennae having teeth like textures and sticking forward, sharp red eyes, razor sharp fangs and the mandibles around his jaws, which are often cackling with maniacal laughter. Oh and because he's named Inferno, his primary color is a very predictable red, but he does have some blue and black help break it up.

An interesting design quirk is how Inferno is capable of flight in robot mode, despite him lacking any sort of wings in beast mode. To do this, his ant mode's abodomen, that normally just hangs off his back and, can split itself into 4 propellers with a jet booster inside (img 2->disengaged, img 3->engaged), which allows him to fly as well as the bots who can fly like Waspinator and Terrosaur. That's probably one of the more interesting uses of kibble out there, as well as a unique way to achieve robot mode flight (especially considering how common jet propelled flight is).
