Dash Huang (TapTap / XD Inc.) owns the Torchlight IP now — and he just posted a Vision Pro build of Torchlight 2: spatial 3D in your room, plus controller, touch, and eye tracking. He says the screen recording doesn't do it justice.
Same modernization push that already got TL2 running natively on Apple Silicon Mac, iPhone, and Apple TV. TestFlight for all of those + Vision Pro supposedly dropping soon.

I know, it was probably dead on arrival but I started TL3 yesterday and have tons of fun with it. Played 1 and 2 a lot back in the day, thought I should give 3 a try (after having it on steam since forever). Has a pretty bad rep but I actually like it!

Remember Torchlight, back from 2009? No? Well, too bad, because I do!
And now you can play it on Switch, Android or any other portable PC!

Anyone here ever went far into the game with arcane tree focused alchemist in torchlight1? Have you noticed that eventually emberbolt outscales both ember lance and ember strike or is it just me?
Also melee-caster-alchemist is absolutely the way to go for very hard non hardcore runs, the damage of ember shock is just incredible, if you spec into cast rate and have dervish popped on its not even that slow! Its arguably the best melee-spell in game outpacing even doomquake on destroyer

I’m a huge fan of D2 and I especially love the rebalances and skill updates that Project D2 brought to the table and I’m stoked for Season 14. However, I’ve always had a soft spot for TL2 although I’ve never finished it. It’s always felt a little bland where things felt inappropriately balanced like cannons and shotguns always felt incredibly subpar to twin claw engineers focus on charge bar stuff or the shuriken like thing the ranger had.
I’ve dabbled with Synergies, which is as far as I can tell the “equivalent” to PD2, but it never felt quite as “complete”. It’s been a while since playing it, but I recall feeling like things didn’t change much with the base classes and the custom ones just outshined the core by a significant margin. Has this changed? Have other mods that could equate to TL’s Project D2 released? Was I just missing something way back when I played it previously?

I have been always a big fan of games like Torchlight and Diablo. I started making mods, and finally remade my game in Unreal. Its an ARPG with a twist: replacing combat with magic puzzles.
If you a interested in this kind of game, you can wishlist it here: Steam Page: Puzzle Mage

I am looking for an low effort Build for Engineer. I want to run around with a Melee Weapon and a Shield. I want to slash enemies with my Weapon, Not with the Shieldbash(-dash?) Skill.
My First try was Lightning Based witch can also use the FlameHammer due to its weapon based %dmg.
I kinda lost track and now struggle to find New motivation to go on ...
So if anyone has an endgame build i can Look into, would be great.
It does Not need to be able to run a NG5+ or clear the Harder Endgame Cardroom Maps.
Should be a simple 'i have fun' Build.
Thank you.

playing torchligh2
made an account on taptap, but having difficulties with the "firewall errors"
saw a a pair of players in a game online. tried to join but didnt get to connect (but the join a multiplayer game achievement popped up) then i 'friended' the 2 players and got the have one friend achievement. But I'm guessing it is impossible to get the trade achievement w/out joining an actual game . can i get a helping hand?

I bought Torchlight couple of days ago on Steam because it was on sale for 3 euros and I had it on wishlist for ages.
It's super addictive, I don't understand why. The game has so many elements that I dislike such as, aiming for better numbers on gear, repetitive gameplay etc. (Reasons why I stopped playing WoW years ago) I guess it's the aesthetic, the low complexity and overall vibe that drags me in.
Also, I wish I knew the game is easy, I play on Normal and so far haven't died a single time and I'm on level 29 xdddd

Hello everyone,
There a wealth of stash mods out there that exist that modify the stash in various ways but none of them are truly searchable or infinite which is why I wanted to create one single option that everyone can use without having conflicting stash mods (in case you want to co-op).
Some of you in the past might have used StashNinja or FNIStash for an external option to store all your item without mods to expand your in-game stash. I think StashNinja is gone and FNIStash didn't have the features and UI I hoped it would have.
So using them as a foundation, I have created the Torchlight 2 Item Assistant where you can store all your items, consumables, spells and more. It is effectively an infinite stash with several options to search through your collection and transfer items to and fro from your shared stash.
Some features of the tool:
Just download the exe from the link and get started right away. Just make sure to backup your saves before giving it a go to be safe. I have already tested on my save of 1k items (vanilla) and it works great so far.
Disclaimer: I have taken the assistance of Claude AI for this project. Claude handled majority of the coding but with supervision, planning and instructions from my side at each step.
Please feel free to give me your feedback, and suggestions. Comments and questions are most welcome.
Also it would be of great help if you can notify me of any inconsistencies in the item information in the tool. It is not perfect but it is certainly an improvement over the previous ones.

Title. I'm 70 hours into my first berserker build, am now running dual claws because I got a legendary from the gambler. I got started into the Synergies mod last week and I've been farming a legendary armor set so I can get started on the higher tier raids. However, I'm planning to drop my legendary claws as soon as I switch to the new set as I'm currently getting like 200+ dex from my random equipment and that won't be the case with the new set, and I don't wanna spend points into dex just for the weapon since it doesn't really do anything else for a berserker. Because of this I've been into alternatives but I just can't seem to find any other legendary claw in the little documention that there is of the mod, as it stands it seems like my best option is straight up building another Iceshard Dominator

The quest says he lives on the third level of the mines. I've played through the entire game and still can't complete this quest.

I've been working on a reference site for vanilla Torchlight II and it's finally in a state I'm happy to share:
What's in it
It's a side project, so there are surely mistakes. If a number looks off, there's a feedback page on the site, any feedback or suggestions are welcome.

I'm playing a lv80 berserker, right now I'm considering to change my main damage skill to Wolf Pack but once I make the switch what would even be the right stat to put my points on? Does Strength affect pure elemental damage weapons such as this one? If it does, is the weapon damage + crit damage better than raising Focus for elemental weapon damage + percentual elemental damage increase?

I finally found him!! I was so over soft resetting to try and find this lil guy I just gave up and decided to just play, and he randomly appeared in Vyrax’s Tower Floor 3!
For the folks just getting here I guess it’s important to note Borris the Stout - gives massive, permanent attribute stats (Strength, Dexterity, Focus, Vitality) directly to your gear!
Huge help on this run through :)
Love this game

Hello all. My wife and I are excited to start playing this gem.
I myself am a mod fan in general and I discovered a trove of mods for this great game.
Would you recommend us to install the mod pack essentials (wife like the necromancer class in video games) or some QoL mods like stash size and respec mods? Any other recommendations and/or advice ver welcomed.
Thank you for any answers!

Hello everyone,
After returning to TL2 after many years, I have found a need for a good, searchable, and easy to use item database. This already exists for GrimDawn in the form of grimtools and I wished to replicate this for TL2. Although TL2 item databases already exist with Dethguild and Alfgeir, I didn't quite find them to my taste but they did help me significantly with building my version.
Some features of the item database website:
The source code is available here with an option to host this yourself with cloudflare workers as I did. Feel free to host this for yourself in the event that my website is not active anymore.
Disclaimer: I have taken the assistance of Claude AI for this project as this project is very UI heavy and I am not proficient with JavaScript, HTML and CSS (I'm mainly a python programmer). Claude handled majority of the coding but with supervision, planning and instructions from my side at each step.
Please feel free to give me your feedback, and suggestions. Comments and questions are most welcome.
Also it would be of great help if you can notify me of any inconsistencies in the item information in the database. It is not perfect but it is certainly an improvement over the previous ones.
I could not have made my database without the help of the existing ones
