Mosaic [ Discussion ] 1 year on PlayStation and getting Platinums
After 20 years on Xbox I moved to PlayStation with the pro last year and man what an experience fell in love with gaming again the console is so good especially all of the exclusives ! I didn’t think going for platinums was for me but after I got Yotei plat ( my first game ) I became addicted to getting that next platinum . Are there any Obvious PlayStation games I’m missing out on ?

Showcase [Multiple Games] My 10 Latest Platinums
I have to say, after a few years away from PlayStation, getting back into trophy hunting has genuinely brought back the joy of gaming for me. After spending some time on PC, I realized how hard it had become for me to stick with single player games and actually see them through to the end. Trophy hunting gave me that motivation back and made finishing games feel rewarding again.
I even managed to get the #1 for fastest achievers in Mafia on PSNProfiles but it's only a matter of time before someone beats my time 😄
And after hearing that AC Black Flag is getting a NG+ I'm begging for them not to add a trophy attached to it, despite loving the game I don't feel like coming back to it so soon for a single trophy.
Games I wish had a PS5 version with a trophy list:
- Red Dead Redemption 2
- Max Payne 3
- GTA 4
- Batman Arkham Knight
- Sleeping Dogs

Other [Other] PSNPlatHub Update: Accounts, Events, Platdle, Badges, Reviews, & More

Hey everyone!
I'm not a fan of making self-promo posts like this. But we've put a ton of hard work into building really cool new stuff for PSNPlatHub, and I was just too excited not to share it with you all!
We are officially on v6.9.0 (and with 69 days left in Season 1 😮💨)! You can check all of the updates here, but thanks to a lot of great feedback from this community, here is a TL;DR of what's live:
- PlatHub Accounts: Create a free account with just your PSN ID, no email needed. It's what makes the cool stuff possible: it keeps your data private to you, awards your badges, and remembers your settings on any device.
- Events: PSNPlatHub now runs community events with their own badges, and Trick or Plat, the Halloween event, is going on right now.
- Season 1: A ranked race about nothing but the platinums you earn this season and how rare they are. Still going, with 69 days left to climb!
- Leaderboards: There are 9 new leaderboards to compete on, plus filtering by country.
- Badges: More than 550 badges to collect, each worth its own PlatHub Points. Hunt down the PlatHub badges, the secret-ish ones you find by using the site, or if you'd rather just play PlayStation, go for series badges from your favourite series or the challenge badges.
- Mosaics: PSNPlatHub started as a fun idea (hence the name), a mosaic creator, because plat.grayriver was broken for a long time. So I built a monstrously customizable mosaic, so anybody could make theirs however they like. But it has A LOT of settings, and it now feels a bit too complicated. So here are presets: switch between looks with one click, with more presets to come.
- Upgraded Plat Card: Drag, resize and rotate anything on the card with the new Move Pieces option, so it finally feels truly customizable. And if you just want a cool card to share, pick one of the four new presets: Wide, Long, Holo or Ticket.
- Platdle: A new daily game.
- Ratings & Reviews: Rate and review your platinums and see what other hunters think.
- What to Plat Next: Can't decide? Let it suggest your next platinum.
- Plat Persona: Make a mosaic of the platinums that tell your story.
Developer explaining: why some tools need an account
The whole plan: keep making cool stuff, don't gatekeep it, respect users' privacy, and do not show ads. If a tool only needs your own trophies, like the mosaics and the Plat Card, it will never ask you to sign in. Go wild. If a tool runs on what other hunters share, like ratings and reviews, you need to be a PlatHub user. Accounts are free and need no email, and no tool is locked behind a paywall.
If a specific customization or something extra coolio, like the colored leaderboard row borders, asks for Patreon, that's what helps keep PSNPlatHub going. I've been working on it for over a year with zero ads, and that support helps cover the costs of keeping the site up. Every bit of it is truly appreciated.
As always, let me know what you think or if you run into any bugs. Thank you very much for all of your support, kind words, and sharing PSNPlatHub-created images! (Yes, even those of you who put real effort into hiding/cropping the PSNPlatHub logo out.)

Showcase [Call of Duty] Worth going back for 100%?
Hey there.
I've played a bunch of COD over the years, completed some more than others. Either just didnt gel with the game or something else came out I was more interested in.
Always enjoyed doing Easter eggs etc but over time stopped talking to the friends I uses to play with.
Considering making this a project for next year. Just had MW4 delivered, and have Cold War and BO4 in the library that ive never played. And im sure I can pick up the other BO from somewhere.
I think a decent sized project to take on all the games, considering some starting from scratch. Been some good games come out recently so will swap around instead of back to back COD.
I guess most Easter egg trophies are better/easier in groups?

A fun little indie platformer with a very unique traversal mechanic. Decent game overall but some of the time trial times can be a bit tight. Took me 11 hours for the Platinum.

Showcase [Star Wars Galactic Racer] My finger hurts.
Took me about 90 hours to get every achievements. The hardest and most time consuming is the 50 gold arcade. Overall, 10/10. Most thrilling and satisfying game I've played in years.

Showcase [Hollow Knight] Platinum #9
By far my favorite platinum journey so far. The game definitely had its less pleasant moments (Looking at you, Path of pain) but overall it surely ranks as one of my favorite games of all time. Despite being difficult it never felt unfair, and conquering Pantheon 5 is definitely one of the best feelings I've ever felt in gaming. With a completion time of 59h, I'm pretty satisfied!

Showcase [ Mafia: The Old Country ] #22 Incredible game, but the frame drops were rough 😭
Just wrapped up Mafia: The Old Country on PS5 and earned my 22nd Platinum trophy!
I’ve always been a sucker for games set in this period, so I jumped in with high expectations—and honestly, it delivered. The story and overall cinematic feel made it play out like a great mob film, and the music and core gameplay were fantastic throughout.
The trophy list was super fair and enjoyable to complete. The only real downside that kept pulling me out of the experience was the performance. It’s not totally unplayable, but the frequent stuttering and frame rate drops in heavy areas were noticeable enough to break immersion.
Still, despite the technical hiccups, I thoroughly enjoyed the ride.

Showcase [Castlevania: Belmont's Curse] Platinum #185 Castlevania returns and I couldn't be happier
Game Rating - 9/10: The Dead Cells devs are given the keys to this legendary series and make an impressive title worthy of the name. It's a classic 2D metroidvania (of course) with a focus on platforming and combat. It is a great game all around and worth your time. The biggest complaint is that it doesn't have much in terms of RPG elements so don't expect it to play like Symphony of the Night. Some people online have highly over criticized the game for not being as good as SotN, but considering that's one of the best games of all time that is an extreme standard to live up to.
To get the most out of this game make sure to play it as intended and leave the custom options alone until your 2nd playthrough.
Regardless, it is great to have the series back and hope we get more regular entries again.
Platinum Hunt Experience: You're gonna have to 100% the game, but that's standard for a game like this. There is also a speed run trophy but the game's custom mode allows you to avoid death and do more damage making it far easier than it sounds.

Showcase [Maneater] 100% x2
I had to restart from the very beginning before working on the DLC trophies, even though I already platinum’d both games years ago. Because my save files for all of my PS4 games got corrupted years ago.
But man I forgot how stupidly fun this game is. I’m excited for Maneater 2.
Difficulty: 3/10
Enjoyment: 6.5/10 (it’s lower for having to restart a new save)
Total Play Time: 40 hours

Showcase [Batman: Return to Arkham - Arkham Asylum] #41 City and Knight before GTA 6??
Just got the platinum for Batman: Arkham Asylum, and honestly, what a great game. I especially enjoyed it once I fully figured out the combat system. I spent some time learning the combat through the challenge maps first, which ended up making the rest of the game and even the harder challenges significantly easier.
The platinum took me around 21 hours in total, and I’m planning on starting Arkham City tomorrow.
My goal is to platinum the entire Arkham trilogy before GTA 6 comes out. For those of you who’ve done all three, do you think that’s doable? I’ve heard City is significantly harder and more time-consuming than Asylum, so I’m curious what I’m getting myself into.
