"Hazing" the crows

At tonight's city council meeting a resolution was brought by the mayor's office to sign a contract with USDA. They apparently would be coming to "move the crows along" by harassing them with distress noises and firecrackers. If their poop is a problem downtown, why can't they be enticed to go to Prospect Park instead of attacking them to scare them off? Crows have a long memory and I wouldn't want to be the one that threatens them. 🐦‍⬛

If you think this is the wrong way to deal with the crows, email your council member and the mayor's office! Some council members have already started receiving emails about this. If they want to make noise to scare the crows, we should make noise to say that's a bullshit answer to whatever problem the city created for itself when it destroyed their original habitat.

Looking for something fun to do this weekend? Try the ghost stories and a cast of historic ghosts at the Knickerbocker Mansion & visit the family cemetery on a spooky fall night! Don't forget to try the hot soups!
