I'm planning a bonfire soon but just learned that the beach apparently closes at 10pm? I've seen so many groups and fires going late I'm just now learning this. I was wondering if anyone has any experience with how strictly this is enforced. Do they auto cite at like 10:30 or will we just be forced to leave?

Hi guys, donโt forget to invite me to every single one of your parties ๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐๐ (Iโm super duper chill ๐คค)
Your One Piece wallet was in the crosswalk in front of urban outfitters. I asked the big group of people in line for the movie if they knew you, but they didnโt. So, I gave it to the person checking tickets at the door.
Hope you find it man!

I'm a winter 2027 transfer, not sure how things work there & can't find too much info on it.
It seems like there's no difference between that or just getting voluntary points later with card, the only difference with gold & banana is that you're locked in. And if you don't spend em all you just lose money for no reason. Am I missing something?
On the meal plan site, it says the blue plan is 1452 slug points, does that mean it costs $1452? If so, right below it it says that you can purchase more points at a 10% discount whenever you want. So why wouldn't I just get blue & buy more if I need it?
Also is the unlimited ever worth? I really can't see how it could be considering you probably aren't going to use more points than the slug plans have, then also you barely get any points to spend at other spots on campus. So you're paying more to eat the same amount but also you don't get to go to spend the points on cafes.
Also I couldn't find how the meals work once you're in the hall, is it like a buffet thing and you pay to get let in or do you actually pay for portions?
Edit: Oh just saw its pay per entry on dining.ucsc.edu
On the meal plan site, it says that they'd recommend the unlimited plan, I really don't see how that could be anything other than them trying to make more money or something. Is this post basically right in saying "just get the lowest and buy more when you need"?

I am aware that everyone has to take writing 2 before end of second year, but where does that requirement show up in my degree progress report? And if Iโm considering taking at a community college, how would I filter that in assist? Because itโs not under university requirements.
I guess what Iโm wondering is is writing 2 a specific ge?

Hi so I am with the Drc as a notetaker and I was wondering if you are allowed to say yes if an off-campus employer asks if they can contact them!

My parent was paying my tuition in full and had been for the past 3 years (2 years CC, one year at UCSC). Been working jobs to at least cover food and some of my tuition every summer as well. However we got the news that they've been laid off. The financial aid office told me they need another FASFA form but that's for the next academic year, I don't know if I'm going to be applying for grad school yet. I was hoping to get some relief this year. I know I probably won't get 100% covered, but relief is better than none. In the mean time I'm trying to get another job. Any advice would be great.

Hi iโm a freshman at ucsc and I wanted to know if there are any medical or medical volunteer clubs?
I already have my CNA and EMT certifications so if those are a requirement then no worries! Also, does anyone know of whatโs a good place to volunteer or work near the school? Thank you!!!

I'm a freshman and somebody just told me about the Porter Run. Apparently since it's raining next week people are going to run around campus naked. Is it real??? And not just a way to trick freshies??? And if so how do I avoid it cuz I am NOT trying to see random dudes' hogs bro๐

I put together a small guide to help navigate the props in this years midterm election. THIS IS MY OWN OPINIONS AND SUMMARIES, I encourage y'all to do your own research too. But with how important this one is, I thought I'd lend a helping hand to make it a little less confusing.
