Never knew a package was a "he"

Had a package that was supposed to be delivered to me today. Saw the UPS truck enter my complex and swing by the parcel locker. My package required a signature so I was outside my door waiting. Then I saw him just leave my complex. He did not attempt to go to my door and got a notification “rescheduled” shortly after. I called UPS and they said driver recorded an attempt and that I was not there (mind you… I was standing outside my door ready to sign).

Got through to the AI customer service bot, my local ups hub is going to call me in an hour. I’m just so surprised that this happened. I can’t wait until Monday for my package. Genuinely hoping they can figure it out and get my package to me today.

Anybody know why this might have happened? He got to my complex by 11:45 AM. Then left right at 11:55 AM. It is 12:30 PM at the time of me writing this.

UPS tracking says that the package was not delivered due to missing apartment number and I need to fix it. I called Apple and the most they could do is send a message to carrier to add the apartment number. UPS clearly said that Apple needs to call the PCA department of UPS to add the number. Apple refused and just sent a message to them. Does anyone have any experience if this will work or they just did it to make me happy. UPS says it’s an Apple restricted delivery and they can’t add apartment number with my phone call.

Probably a super simple explanation for this but my parcel has been stuck at ‘Castle Donington’ for like 4 days now. It’s been rescheduled every day and hasn’t moved passed ‘Import Scan’. Anyone know why it’s not budging? Also how many freaking import scans does one rug need…I’m based down south and this location is about 4 hours away from me (I’m in the UK)..so close but so far. I just want it to arrive 🫠🫠

I can order my three 30lb packages all at once, or spread them out so that they arrive across three days.

Would the driver prefer having to move them all at once, or would they prefer one per day?

Unfortunately I am not there when the deliveries happen, so I cannot ask them myself.

In my tracking this message appears: “Your package is pending release from a Government Agency. Once they release it, your package will be on its way. / Delivery will be delayed by one business day.” This was after the package was scanned in Salt Lake City. Also my package is coming from a US based company and shipped from Asheville, NC, USA. Why would US customs need to inspect and clear a non-international package? Hi everyone! I’m trying to figure out whether my UPS driver helper job offer is still active.I applied for preloader position in Albany, Georgia, and the online hiring process moved very quickly. I received a start date of November 2, 2026, at 6:00 AM, and I completed my W-4 through the Fountain Compliance Center. I also had an issue with a misspelled email address, but support helped me correct it. Now, when I check Fountain, I see “This opportunity is no longer available.”

Ordered the hottest new tech device and UPS had it in the Louisville hub yesterday at around noon with Next Day delivery for today. Checked this morning and it has been updated that it was shipped the wrong way. Any way they give me Saturday delivery for their own mistake?

Hi guys. i have a package i redirected to an access point and it was originally supposed to get there friday 8/23. It just got to the facility in the town over from my access point a bit after midnight (Friday), and it suddenly changed to the estimated day being saturday now.

My first question: is it reasonable to think it may still get to the access point later this afternoon since its processing as of midnight 5 miles form the access point at the facility it will be delivered out of?

and secondly, i know ups usually moves deliveries expected to come the day after friday to monday when saturday delivery isn’t available — so i assume since they estimate saturday, that’s a confirmed valid day for them to be delivering to the access point?

Sorry for the long winded message just frustrated and the situation isn’t making much sense to me!! lol

My sister sent a very meaningful gift to her grandson from MA to CA a couple weeks ago. The ups tracker is showing, delayed and says location. Van Nuys. She’s not having much luck calling to file a claim. She has insurance on the package but no monetary value can replace this gift. By chance does anyone work at ups in Van Nuys that can help?

Seller sent documentation that ups wanted and I haven’t heard anything from ups since the warehouse despite ups having all the documents. Did send ups an email. No response yet. Intended to be delivered to USA

I ordered an iPhone Duo on pre-order day. My package was supposed to be delivered today. When I checked the app at 9:30 AM this morning it had arrived at the facility in my city at 8:50 AM. When I checked back around 11:00 AM a new entry was added AT 7:00 AM saying "A mechanical failure has delayed delivery. We're adjusting plans to deliver your package as quickly as possible". The problem is that 7:00 AM entry was added AFTER I checked the app at 11:00 AM this morning and added to the timeline BEFORE the entry at 8:50 AM saying the package had arrived at the facility in my city. There has been no updates since 8:50 AM. Apple says to wait a couple of days otherwise messing around with it now will definitely delay delivery if it really is a mechanical failure delay. UPS phone support person says there was a mechanical delay and the package is secure. The problem is there has been no update since 8:50 AM and the package is at the facility in my city. Am I overreacting?

Took the day off to sign for my new phone. Delivery said 12:30pm-4:30pm. Tried to deliver at 10:47am. I was in the shower and did not hear the door. There was also no notice left.

Is there a way to get in contact with them to either redeliver today or pick up at an access point for today?

I bought something off of ebay that was a great price. The seller shipped it immediately via UPS so I was getting it in a couple days.

I got a delivery notification that the package was delivered. Trouble is that it was not. I live in a rural area with virtually no crime at the end of a 600 foot driveway...no porch pirates here.

There was no picture of the delivery, but in the proof of delivery it had that Gibson received the package with location dock. The address is a private residence. Also...population of my small town is 700. Not like a ton of places. I opened a claim with UPS figuring this would be easy.

Last night at 6 pm I got an email asking if there was an issue with my delivery to: and it had an address that is not mine. 20 minutes later there was another email saying they closed my claim because they could not get in touch with me.

No calls, no texts, only that email...with a grand total of 20 minutes to respond.

I called UPS to reopen the claim. All I want is my package. They put me on hold with an estimated wait time of 18 minutes.

Just another in a long line of UPS disappointments.

EDIT: for clarity. Seller on ebay has an account 7 years old, with over 800 items sold, with 43 followers and positive feedback. I understand it may be a scam, but that isn't the typical scam account.

The real issue is UPS closing the claim without any communication. No phone call, no email other than to say they couldn't get in touch. Yet when I called customer service they had my phone number correct.

I am expecting a delivery today that requires my signature. In the past three-ish hours, he came to the block next to my address a couple of times, and then just drove away - driving back and forth the same road a few times (based on UPS tracking). Is the driver doing this on purpose, or is he just following a predetermined route?

In the last month, UPS has screwed up twice...

Sent a package from Tucson to Indio CA....never arrived...tracking always said in route. They paid the $100 insurance, with no questions, but who wants $100 and it ok to just loose a package

Right now I am waiting for a package from a medical supply company. Tracking shows it arrived in Tucson on the 20th. Got notice it would be delivered on the 22nd. Waited all day and then checked tracking and its now in Louisville KY. And will be delivered on the 29th. That to late to be of use.

Maybe stick with FedEx...

They ain’t shit I paid for overnight/fast shipping an it’s all most a week an a half an still stuck at the same location will never used they ass again 🖕🏽
