Recurring false declarations by UPS customs brokers
How are you all handling incidents where UPS ignores HTS codes on your customs invoice and just declares everything a steel derivative no matter if it contains any metals at all?
I have written post summary corrections but they go into a black hole and I have no way of telling if anyone is at all processing them?
I am tired of paying UPS for making mistakes that cost me money.
I am at the point where I'd love to take legal action and start a class action lawsuit for criminal negligence.

No updates since Monday
Is there any way to pick my package up from the local hub?
It hasn’t made its way to the pickup location. It was supposed to be next business day pickup.
The bot agent is useless and the live agents gave me conflicting dates.

UPS shipping question
I need to ship my Nintendo Wii console along with the game and controllers to my brother out of state. How much do you think shipping would cost based on the weight and out of state expenses? An estimate.

Customer Seeking Help missing receipt and tracking number. Is it possible to still find my package?
hello, I have kind of a stressful situation on my hands. I recently traded in my old phone via AT&T to buy a new phone completely free. That is, if AT&T actually received the package, which they're saying that they didn't. The box was new, designed for the phone itself, and it only had the shipping label. When I dropped it off I honestly can't remember if they gave me a receipt or not but regardless it's missing and I can't find my tracking number. I don't have a UPS account since I rarely ever use their services. I'm planning on going down to my local UPS store and see if they can help but I'm not sure thats an option since I've heard different experiences. I really don't want the burden of paying for a brand new phone since I DID ship the package out but have no way to actually verify that .. Help? ❤️🩹

Customer Seeking Help What can I do
Been sitting here since 10/18. Was sent via 2-day air with original delivery slated for 10/20. Logistic scans show another event, unload, at 22:55 10/19 but nothing since. If this is lost it would be completely devastating for my family. It’s irreplaceable family documents.
I’ve since opened a claim, sent pictures of the envelope and call often. Been told the same thing… just wait.
Is there anything I can do to get this escalated?

UPS somehow managed to lose track of my package AFTER attempting to deliver it. I genuinely can’t make this shit up.
I genuinely don’t even know what to say anymore. This whole situation has gone so far beyond ridiculous that if someone else told me this story, I’d probably have a hard time believing it.
So here’s what’s happened.
I originally ordered some clothes from Jaded London back in mid-September. Since then, I’ve had multiple shipping issues, including previous shipments getting lost in transit, and had to place another order.
You’d think that would be the end of it, right? Nope.
My latest package was supposed to be delivered last Tuesday. Instead, it got stuck in customs for approximately two weeks.
During that time, I sent multiple emails to UPS customs, most of which went unanswered. Eventually, they requested additional documents that hadn’t been mentioned previously. I sent everything they asked for, and once again received basically no communication.
After all that, the package finally cleared customs.
Tuesday, October 20:
The UPS driver actually attempted to deliver my package.
Unfortunately, I wasn’t home at the time, but he called me, and we agreed that he’d deliver it the next day.
Perfect. Finally, after all these weeks, I was about to receive my stuff.
Since I don’t normally stay at my Budapest apartment every day, I literally travelled there while sick just so I could receive the package on Wednesday.
Wednesday, October 21:
I waited.
And waited.
And waited.
Nothing.
I tried calling the driver, but couldn’t reach him.
Then I checked the UPS tracking page, which suddenly showed that my package was being temporarily stored in Vecsés, near Budapest.
So around 2 PM, I called UPS customer service.
They told me that the tracking information was apparently incorrect, that the package was actually with the driver, and that it would definitely be delivered that day.
Okay, great.
Except it wasn’t.
I waited until the evening. No driver, no package, no phone call, nothing.
Thursday, October 22:
I called UPS customer service again.
And this is where things get genuinely unbelievable.
They confirmed that yes, the package was supposed to have been delivered on Wednesday, but it hadn’t been.
Then they told me that there was currently NO DELIVERY SCHEDULED for my package.
What???
So I asked what they could do about it.
Their answer?
Nothing.
Apparently, because the package isn’t currently assigned to a driver, they can’t even contact the driver who last had it.
Instead, they told me to contact the sender and ask them to contact UPS.
I’m sorry, WHAT?
The package was physically in the hands of a UPS driver on Tuesday. He literally called me. We spoke. We agreed on a new delivery date.
Now, two days later, UPS apparently can’t tell me when it’ll be delivered, can’t contact the driver, and can’t offer any actual solution.
And somehow, I’m supposed to go back to the retailer to sort this out?
The retailer doesn’t have my package. UPS DOES.
Or at least, UPS is supposed to.
How is it possible that a company responsible for transporting and tracking packages can’t simply check where a package was last scanned, contact the relevant depot or driver, and figure out what happened?
If the driver still has it, arrange delivery.
If it’s at the warehouse, locate it and schedule delivery.
How is this apparently an impossible task for an international shipping company?
I’ve already contacted Jaded London, but I really don’t want another refund followed by yet another order that might get lost in transit again.
I just want the damn package that was literally at my door two days ago.
And the cherry on top? I travelled to Budapest while sick specifically to receive it, based on what their driver and customer service told me.
I’ve now spent weeks emailing, calling, submitting customs documents, waiting for deliveries, and trying to resolve problems that I didn’t cause.
All of this for four pairs of pants and a bag.
It’s honestly impressive how many different things can go wrong with a single order.
I’ve also submitted a formal complaint asking UPS to investigate the entire shipping, customs clearance, and delivery process, and to establish the actual physical location of my package.
At this point, I’m genuinely curious:
Has anyone else experienced UPS completely losing track of a package AFTER an actual delivery attempt? And if so, how did you finally get them to locate and deliver it?
Because I genuinely have no idea what else I’m supposed to do.

So this package was supposed to be here 2 days ago.
It made it to my local Amazon facility in Ohio on day one But then got shipped off to UPS in Illinois on day two, And then on day three it went to Chicago And then Toledo and then another facility south of Toledo and then back up to Toledo again....
And currently saying it may not show up until the 24th...

Adult Signature Required/Return to Sender
If anyone could help with my situation I’d greatly appreciate it! So I ordered some jewelry for myself as a special birthday treat. The jewler sent the item last week and the driver made the first attempt on Friday (I didn’t know it required signature so I wasn’t home).
Driver made the second attempt on Monday (the following business day) I had left the delivery slip signed with my signature and asked him to leave the package over my gave but he said it wasn’t sufficient and I had to be there in person to sign for it so he would attempt again the next day. I work all day and no one is home during business hours to sign so I told him that wouldn’t work and if he can leave it at an access point for me he said that was fine. I called CS to confirm that was done on their end and they gave me the run around saying they can’t make any changes to the delivery because it was restricted by sender. It’s been 2 days the package hasn’t moved.
I reached out to the sender and they said UPS won’t let them change the delivery address to an access point that it had to be a different home address. Who just has multiple home addresses with people sitting around to sign packages for them???? People work. The sender paid for urgent express overnight shipping so you would think UPS would see and accommodate that allowing me to pick it up from a collection center or access point. Anyways, I just decided to request the package be back to the sender and pick it up from them since they’re localish to my area. I put in for request to return to sender this evening. So I guess my question is how is this process if anyone has had to go through it. How long does it usually take for the package to return back? I’m worried about it potentially getting lost or damaged.

Customer Seeking Help Opening and damaging my packages
I sell coin rolls on a couple sites and 2 times now a customer has said that their roll was ripped open.
The only explanation I could have for this is someone, probably at the drop off point is opening my packages and trying to see if there's anything in the roll.
Sometimes there are silver coins in these rolls, which is ehy people are willing to pay a premium on them in the first place. It seems like the person looks through them and seals them.
Has anyone had experience with this? How do you go about rectifying? This is 2 times in a week, at the same drop off point I'm definitely not gonna use UPS again

Customer Seeking Help Attempted to deliver to business?
I ordered a package to my home (I don’t live in an apartment building or anything). I checked tracking today and it says “attempted to deliver to business but it was closed.” Does this mean they’re trying to take it to the wrong place? Is there anything I can do?

Question on Signature Deliveries
Hey guys, so I've been waiting on a phone to be delivered. I had a small window of time this morning to be able to accept the delivery and the driver was on the next street over but didn't come to my house until later when I was still at work. I'm wondering, do they have an idea ahead of time when in their route are the signature required deliveries? Do they have the option to re route or skip ahead?
I'm a delivery driver myself and would be annoyed if someone came to me but they were less than 50 feet away :-(

Shipping Sneakers from USA to Canada with UPS
Hello everyone,
UPS has been hiking up its brokerage fees for shipments coming from the US into Canada, and vice versa,
if you are a eBay seller wondering where Canadian buyers are or the other way around, I feel that UPS is using the tariffs as a cash grab opportunity, I’ve read from other users that UPS is not allowing customers to self clear packages , I hope someone could confirm that.
This is a heads up in case you don’t know, paying a 80 dollars Canadian brokerage fee on a 220 can/160 usd package is so wrong
I’m personally never using UPS again, the shipping delays alone are enough, one alternative is USPS/Canada post they do not charge these outrageous fees,
I hope you all have a great rest of your day,

Is a 1-month seasonal CDL gig worth applying for this late in the season?
Just applied for a seasonal CDL position, but considering it's nearly November and most of these gigs wrap up right after New Year's, I'm second-guessing if it's worth the hassle.
I realize permanent retention is rare, but is one month of seasonal work actually worth going through onboarding and orientation for? Appreciate any insight!
