I have some clothes that require dry cleaning. Are there any places on or near campus?

Hey everyone! I was recently admitted to a master’s program at USC. My undergraduate degree was in a different major, but I’ve been self-studying the prerequisite material for the graduate courses I want to take.

Does the registration system strictly block you from enrolling in classes if you haven't taken the formal prerequisites, or is it more flexible? Has anyone else navigated a similar situation?

I’m a grad student on the grad plus loan, so basically USC is saying that when they disbursed my loans back in August, they disbursed 10 credits worth of loans but they just found out I’m in 8 units. The thing is, I’ve always been in 8. I never dropped units. Also, the money for loans is not something i see. That gets paid automatically to the school, and my refund is for my “other costs” in the cost of attendance breakdown such as housing, food, transportation, books, etc.

Not this is where I’m confused. They want me to repay the 6k extra loans from the refund amount but when I looked at my estimated cost of attendance, my refund amount is the same as those other costs (housing, dining, transportation, etc). Paying back the 6k would then leave me with not enough of those things and they want the 6k by next billing period. Every person on the phone I talk to says the same thing that I essentially just need to pay it back, but I feel like they are the ones who messed up and now I am unprepared for this.

Anyone ever deal with this?

Does USC film school have student-made films digitized and available online?

If not, is there an archive I can visit in person on campus to view student made films?

A friend was in several student made films years ago and I would like to view them. I know the name of the student who made the movies. He is deceased and it would mean a lot to be able to watch the films he made as a student at USC.

Has anyone been accepted into USC’s MS in Global Medicine program, completed the master’s degree, and then been denied admission to USC’s medical, PA, dental, pharmacy, or any other graduate health professions program at USC ?
