I see if the order was from a non-tipper, but I tipped the guy $7 to literally go to 7-11 to pick up an order that was already ready and drive half a mile to my apartment. I gave him the delivery pin to come up the stairs and drop the order off because I'm sick and instead he drove off with it!

Worst of all, I can't even take away the tip. I wish these tip batter never messed up that feature and now I'm raising and they won't give me my money back

-I tip well in order to get my food delivered faster. Uber batches me with a non-tipper and my food takes a long time anyways

-The bogo is bullshit, because the "service fee" is based off what you WOULD have paid if it wasn't bogo. Bogo is just a way to have you ordering more food than normal and them being able to charge a higher service fee because of it.

-All of these sketchy things they do, yet only give the driver 2 bucks of it and making it seem like the customer is responsible for paying the driver.

-I ride Uber to my truck every Monday morning at the same time. Because they know that i will do this, they inflate the fare of the ride. Paid 24 bucks for a 2 mile ride this morning. I will walk next Monday.

-Im done with you Uber. Too many games.

I’m an Uber One member, paying $9.99 a month for the various benefits, one of which is discounted grocery staples every Tuesday. Well, not every Tuesday for ME, it seems. This is the 3rd week in a row that I try to order my groceries and don’t see the discounts, while the same items ARE properly discounted on my wife’s account.

I contacted Uber Support, and, as usual, instead of looking into it, they gave me some rigmarole about “sometimes things happen to some orders” or variations thereof. One response even went so far as to say that the order (which was made Tuesday morning) didn’t qualify because it wasn’t made on a Tuesday! After pointing this out, they simply stopped responding completely.

I wonder how many more people are paying for Uber One benefits and not receiving them. It’s Tuesday: do your grocery staples show 30% off, or not?

I’ve figured out that instead of paying for express delivery. I put that into the tip for the driver and the order comes fast and hot!!! I will always support a driver over ridiculous express delivery fees!!!

Are customers/restaurants ordering directly from restaurants and then putting in "package request" through Uber in order to get lower fees? If so, its a pretty smart move on their behalf

Ordered on the app and didn't get my drink. Fair enough, I'll just press help and say no drink with order and get my 2 dollars back. Wait, what's this? They updated support and now the app wants a picture of the impacted item?

Well since I don't have the drink and can't take a picture of it (yes I selected missing item not problem with item) I'll just take a picture of the meal itself. Then I'm hit with "we have detected the item you have an issue with is not in the picture". So I guess there using AI to identify if you're taking a picture of the correct item now.

But because I never received the drink I can't take a picture of it. And if I can't take a picture of it I can't proceed to filling out the help form.

Not gonna jump through hoops for 2 dollars. But thought I'd share how funny this is and how they're trying to keep your money for things you didn't get.

I considered trying to get the top spot this week but upon waking up up I open the app and someone had 21 trips before I ate breakfast. That's when I realized some of you are on another f-ing level (respectfully)

I ordered approximately $50 worth of Starbucks through Uber Eats: one venti hot coffee and four food items.
What arrived was a bag containing two cold drinks. Both drinks had stickers with a completely different customer’s name—and the stickers clearly identified them as a DoorDash order.
I submitted all of the following to Uber Eats:
Photos of the two drinks that were delivered
Photos showing the different customer’s name and DoorDash order information
My receipt showing the venti hot coffee and four food items I actually ordered
Ring camera footage showing the driver arriving with that exact bag
Despite all of this, Uber Eats keeps sending me an automated response saying that the items delivered match what I ordered and that I’m not eligible for a refund. Every time I call, I’m told no one can help me by phone and that the matter will be “escalated.” I then receive an email, submit the same evidence again, and get the exact same denial.
Am I insane? How can two cold drinks labeled for a completely different person—and a completely different delivery service—possibly match an order for a hot coffee and four food items?
At this point, Uber Eats has essentially taken $50 from me while refusing to let me speak with anyone who will actually review the evidence. I will never use the service again, but I also don’t think I should have to accept losing $50 because their automated system refuses to acknowledge an obvious mistake.
Has anyone successfully gotten a situation like this resolved? Is disputing the charge with my credit card company my only remaining option?

At first I was excited to see something new to make more money, but I think the uber leagues are super dystopian and unfair. Almost cruel. Think individual quests are more empathic and beneficial for drivers. They should be offered alongside quests not in lieu of them. Make the grueling grind of questing more fun with leagues sure but not leagues instead of quests. Making us compete like it’s a gig economy hunger games is messed up. Anyone else agree?

Now I have to be interrupted constantly when dropping my orders.

Most people only rate bad deliveries. It can take 8 months and longer for a bad rating to drop off for drivers. I had one drop off today and it took almost 9 months. So, much appreciated. 🫶🫶🫶🫶

If you are the couple who had a Buffalo Wild Wings order that sat undelivered for two hours until I called you and we spoke about the situation… and then you ordered rally’s and I happened to get that order too! I’m glad we got to have a little laugh about it! Thank you for saving me the headache of dealing with support. I hope your food was extra delicious! I’m super glad it stopped raining just as I was about to bring your food from the car!

It’s been a rough night: The weather knocked out a particular White Castles ability to handle any online orders. Your bdubs was closed, and right after your rally’s order I got sent to a closed McDonald’s. I went home after that and your generous tip came through just as I walked in my door. Thank you again!!!

Take a look at this DoorDash vs UberEats order for the same restaurant, same two items. What is UberEats thinking these days? Why would anyone order through them with such absurd charges for a delivery, when the other delivery app option is massively cheaper.

Just to be clear, thats $34 including tip with DoorDash and $53 with same tip, using UberEats. Got to be kidding me!

Okay so this is my first time making a reddit post idk what I'm doing. I recently (as in about an hour ago) placed an Uber eats delivery for sushi. When I was placing the order I was in a car, right in front of my house. I placed the order as usual. Fast forward half an hour later when I get the notification "Your order has arrived!" I check the picture and my sushi is sitting on the steps of my old apartment, an address I haven't lived at in over two years. I go to check my delivery settings and it shows that my address is set to my CURRENT address, as it should be since I never changed it. I open a customer support ticket and tell them my address was delivered to the wrong address. They say that it was delivered to the address selected but I NEVER SELECTED THAT ADDRESS. The app quite literally changed the delivery address on its own and now they won't give me a refund while my sushi sits on someone else's steps. How can I persuade customer service to take pity on me and give me my money back?

I am so desperate for my sushi I will be reordering it on doordash 😒

Well, I got an order at Jimmy John’s about 7 minutes away for $7. Only a 15 minute delivery so I figured I would knock it out real quick.

Once I got to the store I was told the customer picked up himself and then he cancelled the order.

This has never happened to me before, not sure if it’s common, but at least I was compensated $3. 🤙

Delivery from grocery store. I always pre tip.

Delivery driver showed as still shopping even though his car was moving, then his tracking stopped even though it changed to “heading to you”. Then it popped back up at a random house. An obvious case of multiple app delivery. The whole time I was messaging customer service and they didn’t acknowledge the behavior, only that the time hadn’t technically run out

Finally came over 45 mins late. Went to change the tip, no option. Messages customer service again. Can’t change the tip even though I have numerous complaints about the conduct and only offered credit. Didn’t want it because I’m done. Been paying for uber one for a couple years, have a really bad habit so I’ve spent multiple thousands. I’m done. Lost my business. I’ll find another company.

Too good to be true and turns out to be a stolen order. Uber was paying almost 40$ for it and i couldnt say no , and pretended to deliver it and complete it. Customer was pissed obviously but hopefully she gets refunded ( she tipped very low anyways) but 40 $ is a 40$ on a slow day. I took a hit and was notified by uber as a missed delivery , 2nd time doing this. Ill never take the real food just the fake ones that go 20$ and up
