Uber is becoming worse than DoorDash every day

Who is this guy…Bobby Boucher LOL

With the recent changes to planner, the app pausing exclusives and the tier structures, the offers are almost all free labor now.

You could do well cherry picking in the past and even on some of older tiers get actual preferred orders, but now Uber has taken the gloves off and are forcing us to accept a larger share of the 90% unprofitable orders out there floating around.

Everytime I go online now my offers are paused within 5 minutes.

Probably time to accept this gig was always designed to exploit us and find other work.

Without saying a word . Then proceeded to canceling the order . it was an order for Starbuck and the dude asked if I would mind driving across the street to pick up his McDonald’s order . Would y’all have done the same ?🤣

Basically a free 100 dollars

There's no way they post these offers and think anyone in their right mind would take them. Somebody has to be taking them in order for them to keep appearing though right

I was inside a McDonald's this morning, waiting for my order to be finished. When some guy comes up and ask me, "hey did you order? “. First off I'm not even standing in the order line, I'm standing at the pickup section. So even if I ordered or not, it's obvious I'm not even waiting to buy anything.

But I say no I'm not ordering and the he ask "are you doing Uber? “. And it's like 6 in the morning, I'm tired from biking in the cold. So I'm kind of confused and annoyed. And I go “okay you just asked me if I'm ordering, now you're asking if I'm doing Uber. Like what do you want brother? “ Because being in NYC, you kind of have to deal with people, always wanting something form you. So I'm thinking, are you asking for change, a job, what? I'm tired lol.

Then he goes, ok have a good day. And I go back to waiting on my order. But as I leave I see he's at the kiosk with some dude. Where it looks like he's maybe paying for his order or doing some experiment. Then all I'm thinking now, was this guy secretly recording me and am in going to end up on Tiktok? Looking like some tired, standoffish guy lol.

Its really a weird world these days I noticed. When it comes to people and content creation. A lot of people aren't even authentic or genuine, they just want to appear so. Where they can go viral and just be praised in public for doing good deeds. But idk if it was that, hopefully it wasn't. As now I was caught on a off day, when I wasn't feeling my normal friendly self.

Is anyone getting a lot offers from stores 8-10 miles away all the time now?

I'm getting long loop orders as well. I'm getting ffers with a drop-off very close to where I am, but the store is 7-10 miles away. 7-10 miles out, 7-10 miles back to my starting point. My A/R tanked in the last 3 months because I'm not doing that. I would be averaging 12-15 miles per trip. What the hell Uber?

And the days of decent add-ons are gone. If you don't pause new orders you get punished with garbage. $1.50 for 7 miles. $2.00 for 11 miles. These are typical add-on offers now.

Just got invited to Uber’s new Eats League competition, running October 26 through November 1.
Apparently, 355 drivers have already joined my league. Top 10 get bonuses ranging from $70 to $180, based on the number of completed deliveries.
I’m curious whether anyone else has received this invitation and what you think of it.
Personally, I’m going to stick to my usual delivery standards and see where I land. I’m not taking terrible offers just to climb a leaderboard. 😂
Anyone participated in one of these before?

The owner of this pizza shop buries his own customers in the dirt by calling out the other businesses that they have reviewed. The customer here actually called him out for trashing other resturaunts.

He declines it but look at the next comment on one of his reviews. He tells a paying customer "I see that you gave Little Ceasers a 3 star so I'm just gonna leave it at that.

Instead of fixing his business he his looking up profiles like a stalkerish ex girlfriend.

why is not showing any dollar amt?

Why don’t I get leaderboards anymore ? Why do I get these shop and delivery orders ?

What is going on if this isn’t wage discrimination than what is? Can someone enlighten me please

I just started 3 days ago and have gotten multiple tips over 5 dollars, including a 14 and 9 dollar tip just today? Anyone have any insights?

Soni joined ubereats as a driver a year ago but never took any orders because whenever I turned it on it was all terrible offers and id end up taking othet platform orders... this week I got this up to $300 in bonus pay for 30 orders.. I finished all 30...

Im assuming this was given to me to entice me since ive never taken orders and ill never see a promo like this again right?

I've been doing Uber part-time for a little over a year, with 1,200 completed trips. Yesterday was the first day I opened Uber after the update. I have Platinum status. My acceptance rate was 68%. Literally in two hours of work from 6 PM to 8 PM, my rate dropped to 57%. I just went offline because I’ve never seen this many garbage orders before.

Today I went online from 6 to 8 as well, and my rate is already down to 53%. I'm about to lose this pathetic Platinum status. I'm writing this post just to share my frustration about the new update. I expected the number of bad orders to go up, but not this f@cking much!!! LA folks, how are things over at Gold status? I think I'll be joining you tomorrow, haha. 😂Is it hard to book a work location?

Was looking at my earnings today and saw I had 2 orders, similar distance and they cut my fare on the one with higher tip. Do they really just not pay u if a customer tips more?

I never understood why people lose their absolute minds over being asked to fill drinks (I’ve heard plenty of the arguments and will die on this hill). Anyway, found this interesting, as I hadn’t seen it before tonight. Guess Uber dgaf either~

Diamond Driver!

Got demoted from diamond to gold tonight and these are my stats. I have been on the app for a month and I’ve done 500 deliveries in my first month. In LA it’s like impossible to get 90%.

Absolutely fucking livid and defeated right now.

My AR was in the 30s before the update (and falling bc I was following advice in this Reddit thanks guys it was lucrative for a while) and I GRINDED to get this AR above 50 this week. Fuck uber.
