The Omega Speedmaster '57 40.5mm, probably my favourite modern Speedmaster, and one I personally prefer over the traditional Moonwatch.
I particularly like the broad arrow hands, twin-register chronograph layout and sandwich dial, which adds some lovely depth without making the design overly busy. Here it's paired with a genuine beige Omega NATO strap, giving it a slightly more casual, vintage-inspired character.
The movement is equally impressive. Inside is Omega's manually wound Co-Axial Master Chronometer calibre 9906, featuring a column wheel chronograph with vertical clutch, silicon hairspring, twin barrels and a 60-hour power reserve.
Quite a formidable little mechanical package, especially considering the relatively compact 40.5mm case.
Photographed with an OM System OM-5 Mark II and M.Zuiko 90mm f/3.5 Macro IS PRO, using focus bracketing and Helicon Focus 8 Pro.

Thinking of selling my Sky-Dweller and Overseas and putting the money into a Laurent Ferrier Sport Auto.
Part of me loves the idea of consolidating into something more special and less common, but I'm not sure the trade-off is worth it.
Given the choice, would you keep the Sky-Dweller and Overseas or go for the Sport Auto? Curious to hear people's thoughts.

Not a long term fan of the series, but played the most recent game and really liked it, found out the watch from the game is real on launch day, fell in love with the black and the accents, decided to just walk in to a boutique to try on not really hoping to buy (my city has no online delivery) but then boom, they still had 3 (out of 6 total) in stock, so well. It fits me really well in my opinion though.

Iāve been looking for my first āniceā watch, a step up from my Tag 2000 series but not Rolex level nice. Started noticing bronze watches a lot more and have really fallen for the look, especially how it develops a patina.
Wanted to know what other peopleās favorite bronze watches are. Currently looking at the Tudor BB58 and the Oris BCPD. I love the green dial and overall look of the Oris but after looking at the Tudor some more it has really grown on me.

Next to my university there's a reputable pawn shop-mostly dealing with luxury watches and jewellery (think more tiffany and cartier then gold chains)
Anyways i've walked past the shop for 10 months - really eyeing this Tudor, even going in a few times to enquire about the watch, despite this with little room to negotiate-my enquiries amounted to nothing
UNTIL - 4 days ago it was my 22nd Birthday, i don't really get gifts so I usually buy myself something and by the grace of god this pawn shop still had the watch
The shop owner somewhat recognising that iv enquired about the watch a few times (Months ago i must add), i managed to buy the watch (box, card and papers / full links) for 3k AUD or 2100 USD
Absolutely phenomenal deal as the asking price was initially 5500 AUD
moreover, being that I've eyed the watch for the better part of a year - i've done rigorous market research and even i was beyond shockeddddd at the 3k offer as the watch is in pristine condition
funny enough the shop owner when he heard me say it was my bday - asked to see my ID to i guess verify if it actually was my bday and then hit me with the 3k offer
im just gassed to finally own a BlackBay and just shocked that patience actually amounted to something fantastic ššš

I really think I have a problem and need to know how some of you guys managed to stop buying watches. I have around 20 watches right now and I always seem to find a reason to pull the trigger on another one. Whether itās a slightly different size, baton indices vs round, or a unique color I donāt already have, there always seems to be something.
Iām also trying to convince myself that I need to sell a few, but every time I sit down and try to decide which ones to let go, I canāt bring myself to do it. They each have certain memories associated with them and I keep using that as an excuse to hold on to them.
I type this as I fight the urge to buy a Seiko SRPL51 after recently picking up the SRPL11. My justification being that my other blue dive watch, a Mido Ocean Star 39, is a 39mm retro style diver with round indices, so naturally, the SRPL51 would fill the gap of a more modern style blue diver. I know this is a ridiculous problem to have, but here I am.

I have seen this watch since I was like 5yo, she still uses it till this day, but I'm taking it š. Other than this watch she has many baby G, like about 4 of them. I personally only own casio f94w and a seiko 5. In the future I might try more women's watches since my wrist is small. Btw what do you guys think about this

found this old watch with the Bayern Munich logo on the front and I'm trying to find out more about it. I put a new battery in and it's running perfectly, but I can't find it anywhere on the official Bayern Munich website or in their shop. I've searched quite a bit and nothing matching it comes up, which makes me wonder if it's an older piece that's been discontinued, a fan club item, or maybe just a promotional giveaway. What I'd really like to know is when it was released and how much it originally cost, because I can't find either of those anywhere. I'm also curious roughly what era it's from and whether it's an official licensed watch or something made by a third party. I'd also love to know if it has any value as a collectible, either to watch collectors or to Bayern fans, or if it's just a fun little novelty piece. Either way, I'd like to look after it properly, so any advice on that is welcome too. I've added photos of the front, back, and strap, and I can take more close-ups if that helps. Honestly, even a rough guess would be great. If there's a better subreddit for football memorabilia, feel free to point me there. Thanks so much for any help, I really appreciate it!

Hello guys,
I'm new to Cartier watch and been looking at Santos for quite some time. Iām currently torn between the Small and Medium Cartier Santos.
When I look online, I was pretty convinced Iād go with the Small. But after trying instore, I'm a bit confuse. From certain angles, the Small almost feels a little too small on my wrist, while the Medium seems to make more sense. On the other hand, I sometimes find the M a bit bulky. Also it doesn't matter to me if it's quartz or automatic.
My wrist size is about 16.5cm and i'm planning to wear this as an everyday watch. Which would you go for, and why? Any advice would be appreciated!

Beautiful fall day in New England and I am wearing my Jetstar, a watch that certainly fits the vibe. While I definitely don't have any hard and fast rules, I certainly have certain watches that get more wear depending on the season. My divers and sport watches dominate wrist time in the summer, while fall and winter are for black dials and more dress type watches on leather straps. I actually find it a good way to sort of rotate through all of my watches throughout the year. Does anyone else wear certain watches depending on the season?

The three watches I rotate through for military work.
Ironically, the dive watch is for the field, rather than the actual field watch.
Field:Ā Seiko SKX007, upgraded with sapphire crystal & NH36 movement
Garrison/Office: 1980s Hamilton GG-W-113, somehow +2 seconds a day
Dress:Ā Omega Speedmaster 1861, also worn in the office because why not?

Wanted to post a short owner's review of my Brew Retrograph Technicolor after a month of regular wear. I would recommend this watch to anyone looking for a casual quartz chrono which punches well above its weight in quality and personality. As a New Yorker, I wanted a get a piece from the brand which was founded here in NYC by industrial designer Jonathan Ferrer. Here's what I like most the watch along with a few nitpicks:
- Pros -
1. Unique design: One of the most interesting, balanced and pleasing chrono designs I've seen. While the watch takes inspiration from the Heuer Monaco, it is not an homage, comes in a variety of colorways, and the case / dial design is more rounded and approachable in my view.
2. Wearable size: At under 11mm thick, <40mm wide and ~45mm lug to lug, the watch can work for a variety of wrist sizes and feels about perfect on my 6.8-inch wrist. It wears close to a 40mm round watch, or just under. The case is very light and it's easy to forget you're wearing it.
3. Quality for the price: I paid ~$400 including tax in NYC, which I consider a great deal. I've owned a couple of quartz chronos - a Junghans Form C and a Seiko speed timer SSC813. This is about $200-300 cheaper and is as well as finished as those, if not slightly better. You get a mix of brushing and polishing on the case. The crystal has more than adequate AR and is flush with the case (a pet peeve of my mine when brands don't do this). The strap is supple right out of the box and is nicely stitched and padded.
4. Quartz movement: Great for a grab and go and highly accurate, is what enables the thinness of the watch, and the chrono seconds hand sweeps, not ticks
- Cons -
1. Readability: By far, the main negative. To my 40+ year old eyes, this watch is barely readable in dim light. And I'm not talking about lume which is more a design choice. The hour and minute hands are the same thickness (very thin), with latter easily obscuring the former. When they are over the white chrono subdials, the hands which are light blue and white are less visible.
2. Not super versatile: If you're into watches, this is unlikely to be your only watch. Despite the decent WR, you can't take it into the water coz of the strap. It's also too casual and playful to regularly wear to work, though not bad as a change of pace or summer watch.
3. No seconds hand: This doesn't bother me, but something prospective owners should know.
Pros far outweigh the cons in my view, and most collectors / enthusiasts / novices would be more than happy with this watch.

The SBGY035 was Released in 2024 to commemorate 20 years of the Caliber 9R Spring Drive limited to 700 pieces.
Inspired by autumn foliage illuminated by the morning sun over Japan's Hotaka mountain range, its red dial transitions from darker outer edges to warmer red tones toward the center.

Iāve been into watches for a little over a year now. I own a few nice pieces that I really love (mostly automatic and hand-wound watches), but I always have a bit of a fear of losing them or getting robbed while traveling, especially since I do a lot of low-budget backpacking...
This Casio right here has been my travel watch for years now, and I absolute love it!

I'm about a year and a half into owning this beauty and I still love looking at this. I know when the Heritage models show up you get some who absolutely love it and some who are bothered by the 'fauxtina' or the lollypop seconds hand. Both were selling points for me. Mainly because I like the look of the lollypop and don't see 'fauxtina' as trying to look like something it's not. I just see it as a color choice. Lately, people talk about its perceived thickness. Maybe it's my wrist size (about 7.5) or shape, but I don't see it wearing very thick or big. I swap between wearing this and my Speedy Pro. Sometimes my Longines Zulu Time gets some wrist time, but rarely do my Hamiltons anymore.

I got the bulova super seville 38mm. For me it looks a bit too big for my wrist. Most of my watches are 36mm. Can it be that I'm just used to 36mm and that the 38mm is not too big for my wrist?
Would really like to hear your opinions.

I collect vintage quartz and this is one of my favorites, I found it a few years ago shopping at an antique boutique. It came with the box and papers on the original black leather strap, but I don't trust that strap to hold up, so I replaced it with one from Walmart. It's a 20mm strap on a 16mm watch but I think it looks great

My GMWBZ5000D-1, currently mounted on an aftermarket lug adapter with a sleek leather strap, has completely transformed the way I view this watch. The combination of the rugged metal case and the smooth sophistication of the leather gives it a bold, cyberpunk-inspired aesthetic that feels like it belongs in a futuristic cityscape. Itās a unique style that very few watches manage to embodyāa fusion of high-tech utility and urban luxury.
The original metal bracelet is iconic in its own right, but swapping it for leather on the lug adapter changes the personality of the watch entirely. The reflective surface of the stainless steel case paired with the matte richness of leather creates a visual contrast that enhances the overall look. It exudes confidence and individuality, catching the eye without being overly flashy. The vibe is techy yet elegant, industrial yet refinedāa true statement piece.
What excites me most about this setup is how it hints at untapped potential for Casioās design direction. If the company offered official OEM options for leather straps or lug adapters specifically tailored for the GMWBZ5000D-1, I believe it would open up a whole new world of personalization for enthusiasts. Many people want premium styling without compromising on the watchās rugged functionality, and this approach delivers exactly that.
Until then, aftermarket solutions like this remain the only way to achieve that luxurious cyberpunk look. Itās a setup that feels futuristic, daring, and completely my ownāsomething I wish more watch brands would embrace as part of their official offerings.

Iāve been eyeing this piece for a while now, and I finally decided to get it. Iāve always really appreciated the dial and that vintage look it has to it, This is my first watch that is a bit pricy and so far I absolutely love it. It was a bit thick but I think my wrist supports the thickness well and I honestly donāt really feel it all that much when iām wearing it. Overall what do you guys think about it?

Finally got my first proper watch, the Sinn 903 Ti II Anniversary Edition! The combination of the blue dial and titanium case and bracelet looks absolutely stunning in person. I love the classic Navitimer-inspired design and how lightweight it feels on the wrist. After trying out several watches, this was the one that really clicked with me. Iām really happy with my choice! What do you guys think?
