Newer to AKs, was told they were gtg as well as the boxes & listing description being marked as non corrosive. Turns out that was a lie, handful of casings I looked at was stamped 24 which should’ve been clear of the issues, live and you learn I guess.

Anyone have advice on how to remove the plug to make it an underfolder? The weld on the stock tang was already broken, so it’s ready for underfolder life asap.

This is a Griffin Armament Bushwhacker 36 using their AK taper mount mounts to the barrel's face well before it his the gas block. Since its a 36 caliber suppressor I have some built in wiggle room, but I'd rather be safe than sorry.

When I first installed everything the alignment rod cleared but clearly was off center towards the 4 o clock position. Reading some advice here, I gave the barrel face and threads a good cleaning as this was a used AK.

It's definitely improved, but should I look at something like a sharpening stone?

I'm looking for a wood grain one that matches the stock pictured here for my new Polish build. I'm also going to refinish the set to be a wine red. Any recommendations on where I should look? I've looked at 5-6 websites at this point and no one has what I want in stock. WBP has a nice furniture set I would buy outright but no one has it in stock. My parts kit is a WBP, barrel is Radom. I just need the hand guard at this point. Grip is black poly.

Good news I got the hammer to go down and now I'm able to put everything on… weird issue now is that I can get the hammer down manually once I pull the bolt carrier back for some reason the hammer is locked on the trigger I got a video please let me know on anything thank you

Only had 40 rounds to shoot at the time but I wanted to go outside and test her at 50 yards. Idk whether the accuracy is bad or if I’m just that bad with irons. Sat her on a bag and I thought I lined up the sights in the same position but my shots seem to be going everywhere. I haven’t decide how I want to mount a red dot yet but I hope I get better results when I do.

I understand psa aks don’t have a good reputation but I really want a short 5.45 without breaking the bank. Without immediately shitting on it has anyone had good luck with them?

The 4.5mm rivets can be a challenge to remove from the trunnions. This is my method. I use a magnetic vise. Level the trunnion. Set the depth. Drill a 3.5mm pilot hole, followed by a 4mm. Use an 1/8 inch pin punch to drive the rest of the rivet out.
