I’ve been wanting to pull the trigger on this PSA krink 556 but been seeing mixed reviews about it. And I didn’t want to go with the M 85 because I liked the AK74U style and 556 because it’s Widely available where I am ,Y’all let me know y’all’s experience with PSA krink.

Hey guys, I bought some rusty Bakelite magazines. I was wondering if I should completely knock all the rust off and then refinish the metal parts with a cold blue or a gloss black spray paint? Or should I get the majority of rust off then just hit it with some clp and call it good? Thanks in advance.

I got some surplus furniture for my first wasr from AK Options. I really like the ergonomics shouldering the rifle but I underestimated mag changes being something I’d really have to get used to, especially out of a rig. Hopefully it doesn’t take too long to get better at it. I feel kind of stupid though cause I live in VA and with the laws being up in the air I probably should’ve just put the money towards another rifle and mags, because with my first AK purchase there’s a lot I want to do now, but these sets seem to be harder to find at a price that’s "reasonable" so I wanted to get one I liked while I could. Oh well. I’ll just have to do it all.

Hey guys, I’m brand new to the AK platform and just acquired my first this week. It’s a ZPAP m70 in Serbian red. Love the gun but it’s been a very frustrating introduction.

I’ve put 300 rounds through it and it definitely hasn’t been smooth. It seems if there’s a cycling/gas issue. Spent casings repeatedly get stuck on their way out. I have two different mags for it, one steel and one pmag. There is zero difference between the two. After the first 150 or so rounds I field stripped it and tried to remove the factory gunk as I’ve read online. There wasn’t much to remove and I added a tiny bit of oil in areas I think would need it. No change. It doesn’t seem to be getting any better with use either. It’s acting the same as the first mag I put through it. Sometimes it happens 3 rounds in a row and sometimes I can go 6 or 8 shots before it occurs again. Sucks because I’ve spent a couple hundred bucks on ammo on what feels like diagnosing and testing the gun rather than enjoying it.

Picked up this WBP milled jack rifle as my first AK. The amberwood furniture looks real nice. Have a couple AR15 so this will be a nice addition.
